Big Big Age Gap Dark Romance,

This story is about Charlie who was adopted by River amp Everett in The Truth About Heartbreak, She was adopted at the end of the story at the age ofwhen she first met Rivers brother Oliver, who is also Everetts best friend, Their sexual relationship starts when she isamp he is, trigger warnings for rape, child abuse, drug use, overdose, depression

I admired Charlie and her witty personality even if it was a coping mechanism for what happened to her in her early childhood.
Charlie loves music and finds it to be an outlet for her feelings, She knows that the town she lives in now isnt where she wants to be and pushes to move to Chicago, A place where she can attend music school and of course where Oliver lives,

I absolutely understand if the age gap could be to large, Beingis a bit young but I thought that it was handle well with the repercussions that happened, Her relationship with Oliver was built upon trust and being able to open up to each other,

This book was easy to get into and I found myself reading it in about a day so that I could find out if they get their happy ending or not.

How how does this have so many five star reviews

I just read about a grown ass man having explicit sex with a minor, . . written in a way that is so dumb and filthy and makes absolute no sense especially given shes a victim of assault and hes basically blaming her for being so attractive and for them having a special “bond” and like

he tried so hard to fight it blah blah blah.

I love forbidden/taboo topics but this made me so uncomfortable,

Shes a minor, stop gaslighting her and go put your dick in an older womans pond,

'Interconnected novel to The Truth about Heartbreak' This is Oliver and Charlie's story, who we've already encountered in sitelinkThe Truth about Heartbreak

After reading 'The Truth about Heartbreak' this book right here became one of my most highly anticipated reads!! I couldn't wait to get a copy in my hands, when it arrived on my kindle, life was put on hold!!

God where to even start with this one!! After a quick refresh I was gearing to go, couldn't wait to dive in and be carried away on the feels train, and let me tell you it was definitely worth the wait!!
Straight away I was pulled into the storyline, this author is just getting better and better, this is her forte, from the flow of the story to the characters made for an unforgettable, unique, unputdownable kind of book.
Everything this author threw at me with this book I felt it!! Like a bullet to the heart!!

The chemistry between Ollie and Charlie was off the charts, you could feel it oozing off the pages, these two were just perfect for each other!!

Anyone who enjoys an age gap kind of book throw in that forbidden aspect then this book will definitely tick your boxes.
Highly recommend. .

Im not going to rate this.

There were many things I loved but my god the major issue with this book I just cant look over it, So I just wont rate it, I read the extended sneak peak and I think this book is going to far, years age difference and your best friends adoptive sister thats fine, A Grown ass man sleeping with his adopted niece is gross and not a story I would want to read, I honestly didn't like this book very much,
The whole age gap thing I could overlook but the rest of the things not so much, And to be honest,I don't have some special thoughts about this,

So,Charlie is ateen girl and she is living with her foster parents, Her real parents were junkies and completely two sick persons, I did felt sorry for Charlie, Now,Charlie went through some serious trauma as a kid,and she is not able to cope with it, Even tho she knows how to pretend otherwise it's pretty clear that she is faking it, Her foster parents, who you met if you read sitelinkThe Truth about Heartbreak are really nice and loving people, who accepted her and they want to help her.

River, who is Charlie's foster mother has a brother named Ollie, When Charlie and Ollie meet, they just clicked and became friends, But,Charlie always had deeper feelings for Ollie,

The reason why didn't like his book is,first Charlie is justyear old girl who was raped as a kid,and as a teenager who is still cooping with her trauma you are putting her in a relationship with a guy who isyears older than herThat just doesn't work for me.
I thought that this book will be something else and that is my fault, I did liked the cover and the writing tho,
Please,if you don't made age gap/trauma themes, give this book a go, I am a huge lover of this author, and this book did not disappoint!! This is so much more than an age gap romance! There's a taboo element, yes, but I never once saw the taboo with these characters.
These are just two people who against all odds, and despite what society says is right or wrong, fell in love with one another, I loved this book so much!!

We have Charlie and Ollie, who we met in the interconnected novel The Truth About Heartbreak, and here we learn about all the horrific things Charlie has been through.
I don't want to soil anything for those who haven't read it yet, but Charlie is a survivor through and through, I loved everything about her, and I never once saw her age, She was just a young woman who had something horrific happen to her something nobody should experience, let alone a child and she was still able to get out of bed every morning and live.
I was in awe of her, Charlie is usually very wary of people, men especially, but when she first met Ollie when River and Everett adopted her, she immediately felt a kinship with him, and her feelings grew from there.

Ollie is fifteen years older than Charlie, and you see him struggle with his feelings in a really authentic way, He knows he shouldn't feel this way about someone so young, he tells himself it's not right and that something is wrong with him, but at what age is it wrong to love someone Is love ever wrong Do life circumstances and age go hand in hand, or does age in general really make up a person These are all questions that Ollie asks himself in regards to Charlie, but in the end he just can't fight it.
He knew exactly what Charlie needed, when she needed it, They were so intune with own another, and it was really magical to witness,

small spoiler
I also really loved the scene when Ollie and Charlie were first intimate with one another, It was passionate and all consuming, much like their love for one another, I loved how Ollie didn't touch Charlie, and let her take back control of her own body in more ways than one,

And as much as I got Everett's stance on their relationship I have two daughters, and I would have pretty much the same reaction to a thirty year old man and my daughter I was so mad at the way he reacted.
He knew Ollie, knew that he wasn't a predator, or was taking advantage of Charlie in anyway, As much as I understood where he was coming from, I was still so angry with him, and that just showcases how much talent this author has as well: when you can side with two characters at the complete opposite ends of the spectrum of a situation like this, that's when you know you've stumbled on something truly incredible.

I don't want to give away any more of their story, but this book is truly amazing!! These characters are so flawed, but their love for each other never wavers, even after all that is against them.
And their ending So PERFECT! Please ignore the negative comments and read this book, You will see why it's one of the best romances of!! The Truth About Tomorrow by B, Celeste is the story of Charlie and Oliver 'Ollie',
Charlie has had a very abusive and heartbreaking childhood until she was adopted at the age ofby Everett and River, Charlie connected quickly with Ollie who is River's adopted brother in addition to be aboutyears older than her, They were close friends with no other real feelings until she turnedthey things were slowly changing between them, I think there is a previous book with River and Everrett's story but I haven't read it yet, . . so for me this was a standalone book, I did enjoy their story and would like to go back and read that story too,

Well, it wasn't what I expected,

After wastingdays of my life on this one, I've decided that this book deserves nothing more from me,

It wasn't that bad but god I had expectations from this one, The author tried to dish out angst but it lacked heat, I couldn't connect to any of the main characters or the side ones,

The three are for decent writing, a semisteamy smut scene and my time gone reading this one,

“When you love people, you sacrifice your feelings to give them what they need, I think thats what people dont understand about love it hurts, Its not about a happily ever after you get when the story ends, its about the sacrifice you make to get there, ”

My poor, poor heart, This book absolutely wrecked me, After meeting Charlie and Ollie in THE TRUTH ABOUT HEARTBREAK, I knew that their story was going to be pretty special, and I wasnt disappointed, If, like me, you are a bit of a sucker for an “agegap” romance, then you definitely need to read this book!!,
