Capture What A Rancher Wants (Texas Cattleman’s Club: A Missing Mogul #9) Translated By Sarah M. Anderson Script
book is the ninth in a continuing series, the 'Texas Gentleman's Club: the Missing Mogul', but is a perfectly enjoyable standalone novel too, What the Rancher Wants is a cowboy story for thest century, with a little mystery thrown in for good measure, Chance, from the tip of his cowboy boots to his snug Levis and his m'am manner, is the perfect all American cowboy, Gabriella is the princess in dire need of rescuing and experiencing life,
The relationship between Chance and Gabriella is a slow starter with some initial trust issues and some hidden agendas, However, it soon builds to some considerable passion and we get to see the journey of both characters, Their relationship brings out the sweet and protective side in cowboy Chance and gives Gabriella the confidence to start living her life, Unusually for a Harlequin, this isnt the only relationship explored in the novel, Gabriella and her bodyguard Joaquin offer a really sweet friendship, offering up plenty of laughs that helps to balance the mystery and romance that streaks through the plot.
The series is ongoing and its definitely one that I want to complete to find out whats really going on with Gabriellas brother, Alex, Considering that a different author writes each book in the series I think that there is enough consistency there to keep the reader hooked,

ARC received from the author in return for an honest review I don't always enjoy westerns but I did enjoy this cowboy!
I have always liked Chance, The girls need to talk a out things more than assuming what they see is truth, I am anxious to see how this series ends For full disclosure I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads,
Wow! I loved this book! I had to keep reading until the very end! I couldn't put it down! I loved the ending! An absolute must read! Fantastic! Picking up a Harlequin category romance is always a safe bet.
The story will be sweet, with a slight hint of heat, and a good, if sometimes predictable, plot, And there's nothing at all wrong with that, I enjoy picking up a category every now and then, I tend to grab up authors I like, such as Sarah M, Anderson. She always knows how to write a hunky hero,
I will admit, What a Rancher Wants is not my favorite book by Anderson, But I still liked it, and I have no regrets about reading it,
Gabriella may have lived a sheltered life, but she's strong and determined, I liked her. Chance, of course, is the right man for her, a goodhearted cowboy,
Their story is sweet and very quick to progress, This was a very easy read, yet it still managed to grab my attention at times I'm curious about the complete story behind Alex and his disappearance, not to mention the brief glimpse into the previous couples highlighted in this series.
. I may read some of the other books, I can guarantee I will read more from Anderson, as I've loved her books in the past and even with an “average” rating, What a Rancher Wants was a quick, yet enjoyable, treat!
STARS!

I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion,
TheBookQueen This was a short read that can be done in one evening, It was a nice story of a woman taking her chance to break out from other's control, I liked it very much, Gabriella is in TX to take care of her brother after he was kidnapped, It still is a mystery who did it, She is intrigued with his brother's friend, Chance McDaniel, and hopes to find out more if she gets close to him, Turns out that she ends up falling for Chance, We are introduced to Gabrilla del Toro and Chance McDaniel in this contemporary romance, Chance feels he's been betrayed by his best friend Alex who just happens to also be Gabrilla's brother, When Alex was suddenly kidnapped Chance learns that the man he called his best friend has been keeping secrets, but what hurts the most is the fact he suspected of the kidnapping.
Gabrilla and her father travel to Royal, Texas after hearing of Alex's kidnapping, but upon arrival find that he has been found only seriously injured, Chance comes to Alex's house to confront him and is introduced to Gabrilla, Gabrilla has a plan to befriend Chance in hopes to see if he was behind the kidnapping, Of course this also gives her a chance at freedom from her fathers's rigid control,
This is a good book and I enjoyed reading it, I really liked Chance because he appears honest and caring, Gabrilla learns to find her courage to stand up for herself, Very good book. Chance is still dealing with the fallout of Alex's disappearance and reappearance, Even though Alex was his best friend, many people consider Chance to be the number one suspect, All Chance wants is the opportunity to talk to Alex and try to clear his name, When he goes to Alex's home, he doesn't see Alex but he does meet his sister Gabriella, He is immediately attracted to her and the feeling appears to be mutual,
I really liked both Chance and Gabriella, Gabriella has come to Texas from her home in Mexico along with her father to take care of her brother Alex, It also gives her a chance to get away from her home estate where she is practically a prisoner, Because her father worries about kidnapping she always has a bodyguard with her plus she is not allowed to do anything on her own, At the age of twentyseven, Gabriella is desperate to experience a normal life, She's hoping to be able to get out and about in Texas, but so far she has been stuck in Alex's house, That changes when she meets Chance, who besides being incredibly good looking, is also the main suspect in Alex's disappearance, She decides that spending time with him would be a good way to find out if he had anything to do with the kidnapping, It doesn't take long for her to realize that Chance was completely innocent of the accusations, That doesn't stop her from continuing to spend time with him, I loved seeing the way that his attentions give her the boost of confidence she needs to start standing up for herself, She has never had someone work so hard to take care of her and take the time to discover what her hopes and dreams are, Her love for him grew the more time they spent together and she really wanted to believe that a relationship between them would work, Her inexperience and insecurities showed at the end when there was a misunderstanding between them, but she also had the courage to seek out the truth, I loved the relationship she had with her bodyguard and the way she would get him to help her do things against his will, I did not like her father at all and his actions at the end were horrible,
Chance is still reeling from all the things he is finding out about Alex, the man he thought was his friend, He doesn't understand how someone who claimed to be a friend could have told him so many lies, Alex's disappearance put Chance on the hotseat as a suspect which made him even madder, I felt so bad for him with the way people were treating him, even though law enforcement had cleared him, One day he finally has enough and storms over to Alex's house to confront him, He doesn't get near Alex, but he does meet Gabriella, He's very attracted to her, but he's not sure he can trust her since she could be as big a liar as her brother, I loved seeing him get her to his ranch so that they could get to know each other, He thinks getting closer to her could get him a chance to find out what's going on with Alex, As he gets to know her he is disturbed by the way she seems to be held prisoner by her father, I loved the sweetness and sensitivity he showed as he took her riding, out to dinner, and gave her the chance to work with metal the way she did at home.
I loved his determination to give her whatever she wanted, Their growing closeness made him dream of what it would be like to have her in his life permanently and he tried to think of ways they could still see each other if she went back to Mexico.
I loved seeing the way he jumped into action at the end when Gabriella appeared to be missing and then when the truth was discovered, The ending for the two of them was fantastic,
The mystery involving Alex himself is starting to come together, It appears that his memory loss isn't as extensive as he has been portraying, It looks like he may have a plan of some sort that will become clear in the next book, I don't like the way his actions are hurting Chance and feel like he could have told him what was going on, There were a couple of things in the book that gave me an idea of who might be behind Alex's kidnapping and I'm looking forward to seeing if I am right.
Sweet love story about Gabriella and Chance, Fast paced, great characters and fascinating plot, I will be sure to read more of the Texas Cattleman's Club series,
I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway for an honest review, What a Rancher Wants by Sarah M, Anderson was a cute western romance based in Texas, It continues the tale of the missing mogulAlex Santiago or Alejandro del Toro who has been finally found, It could be read as a standalone because the back story is explained right at the start,
I really liked how the romance between Gabriella and Chance progressed because even though
everything happened pretty fast, it felt so natural to see them fall in love.
I especially liked how the story ended and I was pretty much hooked during the last pages, sitelinkRead More Posted on sitelinkWhat I'm Reading
So yesterday I spent most of the day reading What a Rancher Wants by Sarah M, Anderson. This is book nine in the Texas Cattleman's Club: The Missing Mogul, First off, I haven't read the previous story that leads up to the missing mogul and each of the stories has been written by different author, However, we are one step closer to finding out what happen Alex del Toro, Anyway, we are going to focus our attention on Chance McDaniel the man accused of the kidnapping and Alex's little sister Gabriella,
Basically, Chance wants to know the situation on his friend and wants to know if he's well enough to visit him, Of course, Alex isn't ready to see Chance cause he's kind of suspicious that Chance is behind it, Gabriella wants to know wants to find out Chance is guilty, so she decides to checkout his ranch to see if it's possible,
I can understand Gabriella wanting to make sure her brother is still safe from the possible evil that might be his socalled friend, However, once she starts to get get to know Chance she still keeps her brother's condition the secret, Yes, she does carry a little guilt, but not enough for her to be forth coming to Chance,
Oh man, Chance, The guy just seems to have crappy luck when it comes to ladies, First his best friend takes one of the only girls from Chance, Yet, Chance isn't bitter. No he wants his friends to be happy together, Next he falls for a girl who isn't being completely honest, but he still once to give her a chance after all he feels something special towards Gabriella.
Overall, What A Rancher Wants is a pretty quick read, Nothing to stressful to read, Yes, you have Chance trying to clear his name and hopeful find someone to settle down that isn't afraid to live on a ranch, Can you read this as a stand alone, yeah, Would you benefit from reading the previous story It might be more enriching, Anyway, I really did like the story and I want to know whats going to happen to Gabriella's brother, So, if you are looking a fairly quick read that's not going to weigh you down, you might want to give What A Rancher Wants a go,
Copy provided by author Actually a pretty good book!!! Likeable characters and relatively believable story!!! I enjoyed it very much!! Me apuesto a que el papá tiene algo que ver What a Rancher Wants is part of the Texas Cattlemans Club, a continuing series with different authors using a similar theme, reoccurring characters and of course romance.
This is easily read as a standalone as the author brings us up to date effortlessly,
Gabriella del Toro in the United States staying at her brothers house as he recuperates from a kidnapping ordeal, She is a wealthy, sheltered Mexican national who is excited about being here but is kept close to home by her overprotective father, Rodrigo, Her brother Alejandro/Alex has been living in the U, S. for two years but was recently kidnapped by unknowns and although found alive, he has no memory of the ordeal,
Chance McDaniel is a friend of Alex, but feels betrayed as he is learning many new aspects about him and that he had many secrets, It also does not help that he is still considered a suspect in his disappearance, He owns McDaniel Acres a Dude ranch catering to the wealthy with luxury accommodations and adventures,
When Chance comes to Alexs place to visit and find some answers, he meets Gabriella and is immediately attracted and intrigued, They both seem to have different agendas as they spend time together she wants to find out more about Chance and why he is a suspect and he wants help understanding what Alex is doing here.
Yet as they dance around the secrets and lies they grow closer until a misunderstanding comes between them, however it might be a good thing as it seems Alex is starting to remember.
I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series, I have not read all the books but could easily keep up as I watch what happens with the different characters.
