Dive Into Miki And The Moon Blossom Envisioned By Stephen Mackey Formatted As Brochure
wanted to love this, Very skilful painting and use of colour, Some pages are exquisite. Especially the bugs in the boat But the storyline just seemed 'random' as my son would say, . . One of his favourite words at the moment to describe something that lacks a definable purpose, This book is absolutely gorgeous and it has the feel of a folk tale, It looks like it has been turned into a show on BBC and I'll bet it is stunning, Beautiful, softedged illustrations give this a whimsical feel, I liked how the story plays on familiar images from traditional takes with the seeds growing into
a giant flower, like a beanstalk, taking Miki to another world above the clouds.
The storyline is a bit random but the beautiful illustrations have lots to look at! A beautifully illustrated book with themes of friendships and journeys.
Good for exploring ideas of kindness, helping each other, home and different places and climates, It surely deserves a better text, the illustration is breathtaking, One moonlit night, a seed grows and lifts Miki's house high into the air to a strange new world full of exotic creatures and plants.
Polar Bear and Penguin set off on a journey to rescue their friend, only to find themselves trapped when a great storm comes.
Will the friends make it back home again,
