Acquire Butterfly 3 Authored By Ashley Antoinette Shown In Edition
am gonna have to send the author my therapy bills, These back and forth emotions cannot be healthy, I'm sick of Morgan. This gal cannot make up her mind, She wants Messiah and Meek and they both are trying to deal with the heartbreak she's causing, But Messiah is dead ass wrong too, The only one I feel sorry for is Meek, And let's talk about Bash's trifling, mama's boy ass, Sick of his ass too, Been sick of him. What book is he gonna die in He's not fit to still be alive, My nerves are so bad, When my therapist asks why I'm there to see her, I'm gonna just dump a bag of books on her desk, Onyx It honestly wasnt my favorite read be Ashley I can honestly say this book felt like it druuuugggggg on, Dont get me right it was good but for me the way that she is going with the story line is not what I was hoping,
Bout damn time she told that boy its his baby.
Butterfly needs to be the last series of this book, Morgan needs to decide who she wants an we need to know exactly what Mo told Bash with her dumb ass,
I did laugh and cry an cry some more, but the ending was different its something about Livi I dont like who she related to Ughhhhhh!!!!
Spoiler alert!! I dont know who I hate more, Bash or Morgan.
Bash is a thirsty, sorry control freak that has to resort to desperate means to get what he wants, And Morgan doesnt act like she was raised by Benny and Ethic, Shes as dumb as a rock and a repeat of Raven, If theres a bad decision to be made, shes the one to make it, I just hope everybody doesnt have to pay for her foolishness, Im going to find some wine, SMH. Frustration is a perfect word to describe the third book in the Butterfly series, Morgan Atkins Mo, the main character of the series continues to not know which man she wants, She claims to love two men while engaged to one that she does not, Its frustrating to read and think about why Morgan cant seem to at least cut the number of men to the two she loves,
Mos behavior is so frustrating it causes the book to stall from her constant back and forth between the men, Midway through the book, I had made up my mind I would not read another book in the series because of my frustration with the main character, The ending of the book however caused me to change my mind, I will patiently wait on Butterflyfor the next installment of this saga,
Thank you St, Martins Press for a copy of this book for review!
Ashley, honey! GET, IT. TOGETHER!!!
I read Butterflyinhours! I was so disappointed in Butterfly, that I was anxious to get to the “good part” of this one and its hard you enjoy a book when youre rushing thru it.
I dont particularly like how the book builds your anticipation FOR NOTHING!
Morgan has no backbone, Shes just as weak and discombobulated in this book as she was in Book! Morgan tells Messiah the twins are his and he loses his shit, and not in a good way.
I didnt really understand that, Messiah has B wrapped around his finger, another weakling, Im bored with Aria and Isas story line, its dead, And have no interest in Henny and Bella, . . I love Meek! Hes my favorite character,
Can somebody kill Bash already
The end threw me for a loop, All the reviews about how good the book is is befuddling to me because, did we read the same book Im NOT excited about Butterfly, I think Im getting off the bus here.
! Waste of time
Don't get me wrong I love Ashley Antoinette storyline but this part of the series was unnecessary, Nothing happens in partbesides some fluff story filler, You will beinto story before there's a reveal, Partcould have been summarized insentences, Honesty not even looking forward to part, just tell me if Morgan ends up with Meek or by herself, I'm over this series it has been drawn out for no reason at all, Ashley gave us all THE SPICE and TEA in book THIRD ! I love when Ashley gives Henny amp Bella the SPOTLIGHT they need their young LOVE is so CUTE, Im praying ASHLEY gives them their OWN series next, I would of went ABOUT the TWIN situation same way MORGAN DID , I don't THINK she was WRONG at ALL for not spilling the TEA about Messiah being the DAD.
I don't understand why MORGAN scared of BASH when she grew up WITH someone like ETHIC who can get rid of BASH real quick or MEEK , ISA , MESSIAH can get the job DONE.
This book was so far the best one out of the series,
Morgan, Messiah, and Meek are pretty much in a love triangle, Let's also not mention how Bash, her fiance' also has his clutches in her, I really liked how this story focused alot on family and it's importance, I also think it's about how you really need to be honest and true to yourself before you can be true to others, These books are starting to be never ending, this book dragged until the end Wtf was this This book was a money grabbing filler book of completely useless dialogue, This book tries very hard to portray Morgan as being all deep with her feelings and the confused damsel in distress, but it's not working, The whole book in a nutshell is, I love Meek, I love Messiah, but meek makes me feel, . . No Messiah makes me feel, . . bitch I don't care anymore, If you are looking for a plot Keep Looking because it's not here, Nothing Happens and I do mean Nothing! I always say the latest book I read is the best, and Butterflyis not different, I'm anxious to read the next installment to say how everything unfolds, I'm proud of Morgan, even though she has definitely made some questionable choices, I can really see she is trying to grow and do right by her family, “One of the biggest names in urbanfiction, ” Red Carpet Crash on Butterfly
The hardest thing Morgan Atkins has ever done is let go of love, After losing Messiah, she never thought shed find someone who understood her again, Until she reunited with Ahmeek Harris and their friendship quickly transformed into something deeper, but there was one problem, . . she was engaged to a man she didnt love and hes holding a deadly secret over her head, If that wasnt enough, her long lost love Messiah returned to claim her as his own,
Three men plus one woman equals inevitable heartbreak, Morgan wants to follow her heart and take the risk of a lifetime, but she risks destroying her family in the process,
Will Morgan enter a loveless marriage Or will Messiah and Ahmeek fix their brotherhood and work together to save the woman they both love Perfection!
The best book from this series yet! I loved every second of it snd cant wait for bookMessiah, my messiah really showed up this book, but truly these characters are all like a part of me.
I pray this love triangle doesnt leave us more heart broken than it already has, I dont think I can take it, Such a good book Ashley you certainly wrote the hell out of this one, Whew Chile!!!!
"Surving Ashley Antoinette"
Somebody call LMN and tell them I'm ready to tell my story!
Butterflyis my absolute favorite of this series.
I dont think I've ever been so in love, so mad, so confused and sympathetic for every character ever! All emotions got pulled out of me this go around, The star of this book was my nephew Messari with his cute self!
Morgan and Messiah need to coparent and everybody need to go on Iyanla Fix My Life.

, An Intervention for MIA
I cant wait for B,
Why
I'm tired, An entire book. Twenty damn chapters and Morgan is right where we left her in book two, Indecisive and hurting every damn body by her actions,
Its too much. I waited so long for this book to come out, I kind of feel disappointed, This story dragged on and on, Dang I can't stand it when Morgan knows she needs to sometimes ask for help, Its gets on my nerves because her secrets always, and I mean always comes back to hurt her and her family and close friends, But I guess that's what the Author wants from us readers, And that is to get emotions flowing and making us feel things, Even though I'm mad. I'm still going to read the next book in this series when it comes out, I hadleft in the book, I was feverishly turning the pages because sht was about to get real and then I saw Acknowledgements, Like what now Im just left hanging for like another year It just isnt right,
In this book I found too many plausible situations, Bleu and Mo were written so weak in this one, Mo completely disappointed at the end, I mean comeonnow The lead up to Messiah finally knowing the truth and I then seeing his “overreaction” it was a bit much,
These are notes, Quick thoughts
I received an advanced reader copy from Macmillan/St, Martin's Press via
Edelweiss This storyline is DRAGGING! I mean, how many times can you repeat the same thought or line WE GET IT! Move on! Im pretty disappointed with this one and seriously over Morgans overdramatic ass.
I hate her guts!
No I hate that I love and hate Ashley's guts right now, I agree that bookwas the best out of the Butterfly series, I agree with the amount of tears shed on and in these pages, What I don't agree with is how folks don't see the growth of all these characters, How they are all growing from so much pain just to get to their happy place, These growing pains are real! Ashley made her pen bleed and i felt every single cut, Every single slash. And i am ready to experience it again in book, Love Vs Ownership
This is the best book of the series, Every chapter is a banger, The best threesome in history has been written by Ashley A,hardheaded boys, friends, brothers, finger salutes, The crew will leave you with Messiah, Isa, Ahmeek sitting on your lips begging for More, Everyone's growing Morgan we hear you " I just want a love that doesn't hurt" go get it little sis, Continue your journey keep living, I'm excited to see if love will survive the excitement of ownership I knew Ash couldnt let us be happy, I was on edge nearly the entire book, Let me just say, I still feel the same way about wanting Morgan to be happy however Ashley had to bring us full circle, That by itself hurt. Ashley took her time with this one and the work is quality, I am the biggest critic of her leaving stones unturned and not being the best at timelines and playing tricks with the readers, This book deserves accolades for the simple fact that she came straight with everything,
The biggest critique I have is the fact that Bleu for me, just doesnt belong in this novel in the way that she is, Ash will have to change my mind or maybe not, Bleu done loved everybody right Im not a fan of her sort of messing up past series, I think its unfair to those main characters, Same with Yaya. I mean there should be no disrespect tolerated for the past MCs!
Ive been an Alani hater, I can admit it. I still wont take back what I said about that, What I will say is I like her now, I like what Ash did with her in this installment, Still team Yaya all day though,
Good writing means an author can take a heroine or hero and take them to the lowest, Make them seem un redeemable and then make them win in the end and it makes sense, I think Ash demonstrated it in Prada Plan, Im wondering how she will pull Morgan out of this, Because where Im sitting it doesnt look good at all,
I want this to be about Morgan, I do. Im selfish for her because she deserves this, Stop allowing Bleu to steal the spotlight,
I was team Ahmeek, Im sideeying him because what happened to all of that Im always gonna be there no matter what Same with Messiah, He was begging like Keith Sweat until one moment, When is Morgan going to win Now shes in an impossible situation because of her slip in judgment,
Love the Henny and Bella story, It wasnt enough of them in this one, I think Ash is trying to stretch their timeline to grow them up before she can give us what we really want, I know how times have changed and how sensitive people are so were probably not getting anything really good from them for a year or so maybe when Bella graduates and is of age I guess
Listen if I didnt enjoy anything else I enjoyed them twins ya hear me I love them.
Aria and Isa love them, but they didnt really have a moment in this installment, There were so many funny moments and tender moments with them in the past,
Ashley this is a really good series, Its painful, but not in the way Ethic was, This is not unnecessary. I do however want the pain to end okay
Where is the love Yall remember that song from the day Its not in this one, But there is a story thats really good here,
Oh and the abrupt ending was disrespectful, Thats all. This was a good read and this book will have you experiencing so many different emotions, In this book I was mad at all the characters at some point especially Morgan, But I tell you I love me some Messari, Mo should have told what Bash was doing to her because in the end she is still hurting people by holding on to secrets, I look forward to reading the next book in the series, Back to some explicit content and extremely disappointing ending I would say to NOT go out of your way to read this series, It has been a while since I got tearyeyed while reading a book, but this book was such an emotional rollercoaster, Morgan has dug herself into a hole that I most certainly hope she can get out of, My heart really goes out to her, The mistakes she made in her past while running from the pain and grief of losing Messiah is coming back to haunt her with a vengeance, I hope she doesn't end up being the downfall of her family like her sister was and I hope doesn't end up with the same fate as her sister, She's gotta come clean about EVERYTHING, Her and Messiah both. OMG, I really, really love Ahmeek, He's trying so hard and he deserves to be loved after exposing himself the way he has, I really hope he gets his happy ending, I gave the bookbecause to me it was a build up book, very slow paced, I can tell it is setting us up for something to come, So that is what will keep me invested in the series, I am ready for B, hopefully it is the end of Butterfly and the beginning of Bloom or another series, "Standing Ovation "
Ashley Antoinette, whewwwww you wrote the hell outta Butterfly! I've been a fan of both you and your husband since last year a former coworker told me that I ain't read shit until I got a hold of the Cartel series.
Then after finishing those I kept reading more books by the two of you, . . I can honestly say he was right!!! Also, I absolutely love the atmosphere within this group because you're readers are given various perspectives to consider while reading ya'll books!!! Again, I would like to thank you and your husband for being urban authors whose works are unapologetic and soulstirring.
. .
The two of you don't know how you've changed my life and brought joy while battling life greatest battles especially this year's bout with Covid, where I spent months in ICU and while dealing with PostCovideffects and countless appointments have been bearable because I'm able to escape to another world through you and your husband's writing projects.
