Pick Up Edge Of Anarchy (Edge Of Collapse, #4) Expressed By Kyla Stone Shared As Digital Copy

Edge of Collapse series continues to offer characters to root for, fastpaced plot, inevitable clashes between different camps, and a whole lot of survival, Postapocalyptic entertainment at its best, Great follow up

This was a great follow up to the third book in the series building up to the final act.
Since this book was written during a realtime crisis, there are a lot of emotions that we can all relate to, In addition, lots of tips and tricks thrown in that will perhaps benefit who desire to not be caught unawares, I do have mixed emotions about the turn some of characters have taken but am hopeful they will overcome their flaws and do the right thing in the end.
However, I am still firmly and will always be on team Hannah/Liam, I can't wait to see how the story ends, I absolutely loved it. I love this whole series, And I love GhostHe is my hero! Very well written, has unexpected twists amp turns, . . very likable characters well mostly,
The journey has been hell for Hannah to get back to her family, She's battled the freezing cold snow, hypothermia, Being chased by a madman, all while beingmonths pregnant, But, is this what she envisioned for her homecoming, It is nothing like she hoped and dreamed it would be like all these years, Now she must face more dangers to keep her family safe,
I cannot wait until the next book to see what happens in Fall Creek, Totally fantastic read I may have to read it again, Still going strong! This entry was pretty much on the level of the previous one as far as star rating, I still had my handful of complaints and grumbles, namely with the blatantly stillexistent predictable aspects, but nothing that was strong enough to derail my momentum or drive to finish.
My enjoyment still exists, though I must admit that I'm curious if the remaining books in the series will continue to be "just shy" of where they started, or if they will lose steam and be even worse which I doubt will happen, but.
. . still. Crossing fingers

Anyway, we're all crossing over at last! This is the first book in the series in which all characters finally intersect into each other's paths.
It's also one that starts off with an immediate bang, throws you right back into the grind without slow buildup, At this point in time, there's no point for buildup anyway, Liam and Hannah are closer to her hometown, but sadly are still being pursued by Pike, who they foolishly thought was dead and gone, Now that Hannah's giving birth to her child, things get even MORE complicated, Meanwhile, Noah's handle on being a cop in a town that is falling more apart is becoming a heavier load to bear, Can any of these folks still hold on and stand strong in their various burdens

As expected, there are a few new revelations in this book, a couple of which I didn't see coming.
Now that folks have finally met, adversaries and their motives are more revealed and fleshed out, though there's still more work to be done in that department no doubt stuff that will come later.
As I said earlier, though, my issues with this book and all its predecessors stemmed mostly from the predictable and waytooobvious aspects, In addition to this, I feel like some character arcs and/or personalities, once coming further into fruition, were grossly exaggerated, Villainy felt overthetop, even cartoony, Character feelings and/or expressions towards others often felt sophomoric, like I'm reading a highschool drama,

That's probably why Stone author may have had some of her characters make decisions that were uncharacteristic, bizarre, or counterproductive to their own missions.
Some sort of shockvalue to shake things up, perhaps For example, Pike had a massive advantage over Liam and Hannah when he survived that snowmobile crash at the end of the previous book, and he KNEW he had this advantage.
So instead of being a smarter villain and maintaining that advantage, he decides to advertise his presence with another dead carcass like he did in book one.
I was legit like, "Damn, dude, why would you do that Now they know you're alive, " Liam, too, KNEW Pike was luring him out, but still pursued anyway, making some choices that nearly got him killed,

The fact that these complaints of mine have been consistent with each book is, I admit, KIND OF worrisome, even despite the fact that I'm still enjoying myself, which I so am.
I guess I just don't want things so much handed to me as I read, Let me WORK for something, ya know Let me be SHOCKED, I don't like so many obvious things, such as Hannah and Liam being set up as love interests, Thing is, in order to do that, you have to remove the complication that is Noah,

So, it's my prediction that Noah is gonna become more and more unlikable as a character so that it can justify Hannah being with Liam instead.
I mean, I love Liam and Hannah and I certainly wouldn't complain if/when they become official, but, . . I just think it's just sorta tragic to taint another character to achieve this,

Anyway, I'm rambling now, But it ain't like anyone's out there reading this stuff anyway lol, Onward!

Shed stayed alive for five torturous years for her son, For her daughter, shed come back to life,

blockquotegt Someones pissed off,” Milo said,

“Dont say pissed, Your dad will think you got it from me, ”

“I did get it from you, ”

Solo sigo leyendo por ellos dos,
“Go to hell!”

“Language, Small Fry,” she said,

“He deserves it!”

“Cant argue with you there, ”

Y por Hannah y Liam, Ellos son el endgame.
“Youll likely lose, People you love will die, A lot of people. ”

“Did I mention that hes also an optimist” Hannah said,

Ah, y Bishop merece su felicidad después de todo lo que le ha pasado, The book starts out with Quinn amp Milo out walking in the extra thick and heavy snow, Even after all both of them have been through they cant seem to escape trouble or seeing things they perhaps shouldnt, They are in the Winter Haven area that Milo is living with his father, Noah, the Chief of Police live, Those that live at Winter Haven have been assigned their houses by Rosamund, as the usual occupants arent staying in them as they were more holiday homes.
Winter Haven is quite “new age” in that they have solar power which of course means showers, hot water, better cooking facilities and much easier living conditions too.
Anyone living at Winter Haven is considered lucky and most fortunate by those who dont live there, So, its not really surprising when some of the Fall Creek residents decide they should have one of these large, all modern conveniences, solar powered homes for themselves.
The Winter Haven resident they choose to oust is the community bank manager Darryl Wiggins, Without going into much detail there is a scuffle going on and a couple of Militia Members, Sebastian Desoto Mattias Sutters second in command amp James Luther.
The same two men who in Quinns opinion had barged into her grandmother Mollys home and stolen her canned and preserved foods, Despite being told to be careful around these men when Quinn sees them shooting those who were attempting to take Darryls home, she literally flashes back to when their leader Mattias Sutter shot her mother.
When Milo runs towards the men shouting for them to stop shooting, Quinn cannot help but become involved, The action forced by Milo involving himself in the action, puts an even bigger target on Quinns back than she had before in the eyes of the Militias second in command Desoto.
Quinn isnt the only one with a target on her back either, as Liam finds himself in danger, though its nothing he cant handle, its the fact that puts others around him in danger too that irks him into planning some sort of action.
Initially he wants to walk away but when it becomes clear his new friends intend to fight back, he agrees to stay and help in the fight.

At justinto the Edge of Anarchy I found that I had easily slipped back into the harsh new reality the characters are living in and the new situations they were coping with.
I enjoyed continuing to adore the great characters I had come to love so far, such as Hannah, Liam, Quin, Milo and Molly amp Ghost of course.
This book also has those characters that you “love to hate” like Sutter and most of his men, Then theres the characters that I initially felt okay about, such as the Superintendent Rosamund Sinclair who has been increasingly showing a rather darker, underhand side of herself and I even found myself doubting Noah who I had adored earlier in the series.
I just dont like who he is becoming now he is Chief of Police and seems firmly set under Rosamunds steely grip and influence! Edge of Anarchy felt even more fast paced and so quick to read.
Had I had the time to sit I just know I would have read it in one go!!

My immediate thoughts upon finishing reading this book were Wow! Amaaaazing! Action packed from the beginning to the end! What “side” will Noah choose Will Noah and his wife Hannah even be able to rekindle whatever love was left in their marriage, or has too much time passed Hannah has changed both physically amp mentally.
Can everyone else come to terms with and accept those changes Who is the right man for Hannah I know who I want her to be with!

To sum up I have tried really hard not to give away spoilers in this review which is why it will probably come across as less detailed, maybe vague review.
If you have read the series so far then Edge of Anarchy is an absolute must read, If you havent read any of the series so far you need to start it now! I am really looking forward to the next book already too!

OMG finally!!! Goddamn Pike is finally dead.
Like a horror movie I thought hed get up again but Ghost took care of that, Thank goodness! So satisfying, So, Ive been holding off judgement on Noah since his appearance in the second book but I can now really say I dont like him at all.
Hes a spineless coward, and I agreewith Liams assessment of him, “indecisive, and willfully blind”, There was another word he used too but I just cant remember it now, Still love Hannah, Quinn, Milo, Liam, and Molly, Great characters. Love this series, cant wait to see how it ends, Please dont kill off my faves!,
