was a fun one with a decent amount of action and magical/demon back story, It also came off really goofy in parts like his parents joining him at Demon King school, Some violence and gore in the fight scenes but nothing too mature, An interesting read with a crazy strong protagonist with no ability to read the room, plus I have question I want answered, so I will definitely keep reading.
I really like this one, I really, really loved this one! It reminded me a lot of Reign of the Seven Spellblades, but it's so much better.


The story begins,years in the past, There is an exceptionally powerful demon who is facing off against a hero, They both feel they are in the right, but they both want the fighting to end, and the demon whom the people have begun calling the Demon King because of his great power seems to be the only one who recognizes the fighting will never cease if both sides continue as they have.
His plan is to divide the realms so humans and demons are kept apart by a great wall for a thousand years.
He believes that once that much time has passed, the people will forget their past grudges and move on, Then the walls will come down, and after another thousand years he will be reincarnated into the merged world, The human hero agrees to these terms so the Demon King sacrifices himself to create a new world,

Fastforward twothousand years, The Demon King is reborn and maintains all his powers and memories, But he realizes that he is helpless as an infant so immediately makes himself into a young child, His parents think he's just a large baby, Then an owl carrying an invitation to a magical school arrives HAHA! and he realizes that to attend the school he needs to be a teenager, and he ages himself up again.
His parents also see nothing strange about this, They're not too bright.

So the plot revolves around this magic school, All the Demon King's descendants technically they're the descendants of the demons he created, not his own personal descendants attend the school and compete in trials to determine their class rank and to prove they are the one true Demon King reincarnated.
It's really funny because he goes around telling everyone he is the real incarnation of himself, and NOBODY BELIEVES HIM, He's so much more powerful than the other students, he kills them during the trials and then resurrects them, and they still don't believe him.
There is a magical crystal after the combat portion of the trials, which is supposed to read your aura and tell you by a numerical system what your power level is.
His power is so strong the crystal bursts when he approaches it, and consequently he is assigned a power level of! Everyone is afraid of him because of his powers, but no one believes he is truly the reincarnation of the original Demon King.
He is an outcast at the school with only one friend, the first student he happened upon when he arrived at the school, and he is labeled a misfit.


My favorite thing about the manga is watching him completely demolish the other students in competition, His skills are so amazing he knows spells they haven't even heard of, yet everyone keeps testing him before finding out the hard way they don't even compare.
Apparently the bloodlines between humans and demons have mixed over the last thousand years since the barrier came down, diluting magic, Everyone is a weakling compared to the original Demon King, He even corrects his teachers in class, It was especially funny when he told one teacher, "I could teach this class for you, if you like, " XD

The one friend he makes in school is a really interesting character, His parents think they're dating just because she's a girl and they won't listen when he tries to set them straight, I think her character is going to have an intriguing backstory when it gets explored, A plot twist regarding her origins is revealed at the end of this volume and it made me gasp!

I've ordered the rest of the series.
Can't wait for more of this one! I hope the novels get brought over but I'm not sure if SquareEnix does novels.

adored this, I love this! Read this after finishing the anime and I love all the characters especially Anoth Anos, To me the premise is really intriguing and I like how the story and world as a whole is put together, I like the concept of his reincarnation and what the world looks likeyears in the future, If you're looking for a generic LN read then here it is, Not bad. Overallthe demon king is sooo much hotter in the manga than the anime.
. . and adorable as a little boy, which wasn't covered in the anime, the anime is a lot of fun, but I'm definitely liking the manga better, This series is in my top favourites for sure, To stumble upon something quite so interesting and pretty was such a good find,stars

I couldnt get through this volume! Not sure if it was me or the story, but something didnt mesh.
On to the next one, This book has very obvious pros and cons, .
Now that Im actually writing the review Im not so sure this book deserves three anymore but, whatever,

Its a cool perspective, from an ancient demon kings eyes who hasnt seen this world for,years,
The art is cute,

Cons
Everyone at this academy is siblings, so they should not be catching feelings for anyone,
The love interest for the MC so far is his super great granddaughter,
Shes also written like a robot,
Only other main female character is a stereotypical mean girl,
“Lighthearted rom com” covers it pretty well, Everyone brushing off his knowledge and other OPness is hilarious and theres lots of shipping potential which involves some fan service but since it is equal opportunity enough to include guys and gals it was more amusing than annoying.
Oh, and the parents of the reincarnated strongest demon king Are worth a whole star in this rating, .
