of the most beautiful poetry collections i've ever read, I recommend "the moon" to everyone's struggling right now,
You are not alone, you are loved, This is the first book of poetry that I ever truly read, I took my time reading this book and Im overwhelmed with the way it left me feeling, Theres nothing like it and Im glad I started my poetry readings with such an amazing author,
Rating:From nighttime anxieties to wistful ruminations on the desperate feeling of love, Kamilla builds a world, in which we can say “Hey, thats how I feel too” and then be comforted when she gives us the wise words to summarise all.
Her writing is tight and expertly created The Moon sits beautifully as the first in a series of books and I dont doubt they will make waves in the industry.
And it cannot be glazed over that the illustrations seen in the book are also done by Kamilla simplistic but stunning images that are a gorgeous accompaniment to the pieces they sit beside.
She is a passionate and often optimistic writer, with a flair for the spiritual, The moon is best served with a tea or a hot chocolate in the middle of a silent evening under covers, This was quite an experience, I come to the conclusion that modern instagram poetry is not for me, I get why people like it, It's simple, it has little doodles and it's shallow, For me it was just boring and didn't make a lot of sense, Sometimes I had the feeling the author didn't know either what she was writing about, Gorgeous poetic writing. I follow the author on Instagram and I am so glad I do, Their words will touch you and some go straight to the heart, Loved this! perfection, for me, i feel that this book captures everything i feel in my mind, this is my way of thinking, written in such a way that it travels straight to my heart, so simple, so powerful, so beautiful, the moon the moon the moon ltThe moon aesthetic of this book is gorgeous, as are the illustrations, The poems are good, but most of them are very simplistic, Well, the illustrations are really cute, I imagine theyd make fine tattoos, Some of the short poems too, really, However, overall this wasnt for me, I thought the symbolism of the moon was pushed too much and overall this lacked depth to me, although I did appreciate the underlying theme of mental health.
Maybe Instagram poetry just isnt my cup of tea though,./ i wouldnt say i disliked this book but i didnt really do much for me either, i resonated with a few of her works and i can see how this can be comforting to some people but idk i feel like if i had read these poems and on instagram i mightve enjoyed them more, maybe it was just reading them all back to back that kinda ruined it for me might reread in the far future if i ever feel like it 'Soulful '
Absolutely in love with this poetry collection.
I've always adored K. Tolno's words on Instagram. Was excited she came up with book, My soul feels so full after reading this one, such a peaceful read it is, I'm a very Happy Reader, Disfrute bastante estos poemas y la verdad que me acompañaron durante un buen tiempo, Conecte con algunos a un nivel muy personal pero no es un libro que recomendaría a todos,

Such a great read! I love when I am able to really relate to a book and feel connected as it adds to the reading experience.
Highly recommend ! the moon is a poetry collection that illuminates the phases of the human experience in all its lightness and darkness.
It is the first book in the nothern collection withbooks coming out in,
Written and illustrated by instagram poet and artist, Kamilla Tolnø, the moon guides readers through a journey that is both familiar and unknown.
The poems tell stories of loss, love, grief, struggle, transformation, and most of all, hope,
Just as the moon orbits earth, the moon poetry book revolves around its reader, their resilience, their healing, and their growth.
the moon will always be there when you need her most, All you have to do is turn the page, So to get started: I absolutely fell in love with two or three of the longer poems in here, I also, over the course of reading, came to love how the author paints pain as a part of the human experience without glorifying it.
I did like the book,
But overall, there are a lot of poems or little lines that feel too simple for me personally, I see how some would find comfort in this kind of poetry, however it just is not for me, Some of the oneliners felt like just filling in space as well, so yeah, . .
But it definitely is a nice, quiet kind of read and a cute little gift for friends, I felt yesterday while reading it that I am not smart enough for this poetry book, :D So many great poems!
Such a great book!
"falling in love with someoneSimply beautiful "as humans we are created
who does not want you
is not the worst thing
falling in love with someone
who wants you
but wants someone else
more
is"
to survive
so our instinct is to fight
against the darkness
instead of searching for the light
within ourselves"
I'm slowly becoming a poetry person.

I have been looking forward to finally dive into K, Tolnoes poetry! Her collections are short and can be read in one sitting,
The Moon is a collection of poetry that covers various different topics, and contains beautiful imageries and amazing metaphors, I am sucker for all moon and aesthetics so reading this one was marvelous,
There are some really beautiful, contemplative and relatable pieces and I really enjoyed how the collection was all divided,
The artwork was just incredible as well! I totally understand why lots of people get her artwork tattooed on their bodies, it is STUNNING!

I like the style of the author's writing and I could relate to some of her sayings which are mostly uplifting, Although, if you are searching for poems that are more into depth, this book might be not the best for you, Loved it so much! Rollercoaster of emotions, It gave me hope and still left me in tears Simple and cute poetry I liked the artwork and the sentiment behind the poems.
It seems sincere and I can understand why someone would find comfort and inspiration in the words, As poetry, though, I found it too simplistic and undeveloped to be satisfying,/
/What's need to change what not,
What do you feel and how it changes
When you are struck with rules and laws of universe
It's all and many more is hidden in this book that K.
