this case, There really is nothing like a English murder, Armstrong is one of the most interesting characters,at least in my mind, to be condemned for the murder of his wife, Very much the gentleman, but browbeaten by his formidible wife he resorts to poison, A wonderful telling of the story, including photos yeah! and all the little things that help you to understand the times and people involved, Well written and infinitely interesting, Fascinating stuff. Looking forward to the new book out about this case, Exhumation of A Murder is a comprehensive study of the case of Major Armstrong, the celebrated Hay Poisoner, one of the most notorious murderers of the twentieth century and the only solicitor ever to hang.
