Download Billionaire CEO: Fake Girlfriend Articulated By Jolie Day Provided As Audio Books
up or Faking
This book might be labeled fake romance, but it is much more than that, More of a Who Done It type storyline with a fake romance thrown in,
The romance and trust happened quickly, making it a very nice story to read, It was easy to route for Audrey and Aaron!!! FREE on Amazon today! This was a fast paced story of Aaron a CEO of his company and needed a fake girlfriend for appearance.
What he didnt expect was to become friends and then lovers, Only problem was she worked for the competition company,
Aubrey loved her uncle and worked hard for his company, but when she offered to be a fake girlfriend wirh Aaron she thought it couldnt hurt and she was attracted too him.
They became friends and in the meantime someone was trying to blackmail him and Aubrey wanted to Br their for him which brought these two closer together where now they were actually in a relationship.
Aaron and Aubrey worked too clear his name and in the end I was shocked to find out who did that too him, Only good thing was Aaron and Aubrey relived they had fallen in love after all was said and done, I loved this two characters! Not as Good as I hoped
This book wasn't as good as others I read by Jolie Day.
I think a lot of it was just off, For example as soon as the police started to question Aaron a billionaire the first thing a man in that position would do would call his lawyer.
Also not enough intimacy.
Brilliant as always, this author ticks all the right boxes for
me,
Steamy, tense, and satisfying,
Great characters with excellent chemistry
Tense and passionate situations
Steamy and romantic clinches
Its got it all, Jolie Day checked off all my boxes with His Fake GF, so there couldn't be less thanfrom me, Lately, I've been a bit harder on authors because of heroes that I will NEVER EVER forgive from their actions, and I'm sure it's because of this particular season in my life, so bravo Jolie Day.
This story surrounds Audrey, who almost hooked up with Aaron in the past, but when circumstances beyond her control came about, she had no choice but to leave before things got really hot, and since he gave her a fake name, well that was that.
Next time she comes across his path, it happens to be about her family's failing company that he's threatening to buy out, and she's not having any of him now.
Aaron needs someone who can masquerade as his GF, and with some maneuvering, he gets Audrey to agree to it, with the agreement that he doesn't buy her family company.
This doesn't mean that they don't participate in some push amp pull moments with interactions on the argumentative side, but that chemistry they started with that whole failed hookup, is still ever present, but the rules state, no sexy times.
While they fight, someone is out to take Aaron down, providing me with a ton of fbomb worthy twists, which is truly my happy place, So there you go, all kinds of goodness to this story, so hit your one click button, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is a fun book and Im always excited when I find a contemporary romance that I really like.
They call this book an “enemies to lovers” and it was in a way, but not completely, I have to admit, for the first few chapters I wasnt sure I was going to like the book, because Aaron is a complete jerk, Hes arrogant, cocky and treats his employees so badly, Im surprised they still work for him, He has no friends and has never been in a relationship with a woman, hes the love them and leave them kind, So I had my reservations on liking the book, But along comes Audrey, who works for a competing company and a good suspenseful plot line that I only guessed half of, We see growth and likability in Aaron that was because of his relationship with Audrey, who makes him a better man, Well worth the reading time, and even though I would have liked to see them out more together and explore how they got to where they were by the end of the book, it still worked.
The point of view switches from chapter to chapter between Audrey and Aaron, which is the best way to work these type of narratives, in my opinion The good news: I didnt sleep with him.
The bad news: I didnt sleep with him,
Aaron Patterson.
The wealthiest man in NYC, Devil in a threepiece suit,
The alpha of all alphas,
The first time I met him, he turned my knees to jelly with the way he looked at me,
The next time I see him, he's threatening to take over my family business,
Are you kidding me
Im so madI could strangle him,
But Im a New York girl at the top of my game,
And Ill be damned if some smug gazillionaire intimidates me,
To my surprise, he offers a solution:
My company in exchange for an arrangement,
He needs a fake girlfriend, and I fit the bill,
Okay, fine. Ill pose as his “loving” girlfriend,
Anything to stop my nemesis from ruining my legacy,
The rules are clear,
. No kissing.
. No sex.
. No stealing my business out from under me,
Ive got thisImnot going to be dumb and fall into his sheets,
But as much as my mind says “Hell no,” my body decides it doesnt give a damn,
His gorgeous eyes. His sizzling hotness.
Suddenly, I cant keep my mind off of him,
Or my hands.
How did I end up in his bedroom
Im in big trouble,
Falling for him wasnt part of the deal,
And all bets are off now, The narrator made this a steamy read, I am now obsessed with this narrator D, C. Cole. It was as though you were floating on clouds during those scenes, He's definitely a top narrator,
Regarding the story, there was an element of mystery/suspense as they were trying to solve a crime, I felt the chemistry between the main characters, though the book is short so there's only so much we could get,
As I go weak in the knees for Alpha Males, this was no exception, I plan on reading more books by Jolie Day, Spoiler Alert
A chance encounter between Aaron and Audrey the lead characters in a bar take them both in a direction they werent expecting, One of loathing, then friendship and respect to love, Whilst trying to work out who is trying to set Aaron up for stealing money from his own firm, Loved both the characters and the way they play off of each other, A pretty good read.
