Seize Artimas Travels Interpreted By E.A. Dustin Conveyed As Physical Book
a twist on the political climate in the US right now and the use of protesters and media to keep eyes looking in the wrong direction.
To be honest 'Artima's Travels' was so realistic it scared me, The story line was so plausible and intertwined with events happening right now that it truly worried me.
The country is so divided and worried about being politically correct or intolerance towards different cultures and religions, it makes one wonder if the country is not setting itself up for a huge fall.
The characters in the book even fought amongst their spouses about their fears while the other thought they were paranoid.
Artima's Travels by Elfriede Dustin is an extraordinary story set in future where the world has been injured by a pandemic.
While recuperating from the pandemic, a misfired rocket in the Pacific brings another emergency, The Navy wants to find the culprit and only one person can help them to solve the mystery.
Captain Schwartz turns to Artima and Ronnie, her boss and CEO of AISE, to investigate any system malfunction.
Artima Ressols, the chief engineer of AISE Artificial Intelligence Systems Enterprises, is an intelligence and passionate lady, She has perfected lifesaving technology using an AI algorithm that will help in the fight against a deadly pandemic.
As the investigation proceeds, Artima uncovers some hidden secrets, Juggling between personal life and very demanding career, she tries her best to uncover the truth, What ensues is a cat and mouse wild chase of incredible proportions that span across the Atlantic ocean and continents! At its core we have a fascinating and fast pace thriller!
Artima's Travels has it all fast pacing, great characters, a highly inventive plot that was so realistic.
Author also used this book to showcase technology at a time when the world was changing so rapidly that it was frightening to think where it might lead.
The tension was wellpaced, and the main characters managed to emerge from their lesser counterparts without making the story seem too driven by them.
This tickled my fancy, because I appreciate fiction that takes into account how many variables are present in even the simplest of human encounters.
Perhaps most importantly, author Elfriede Dustin gave us Artima Ressols that readers could identify with, Artima isnt James Bond. Instead, she is someone
who uses her intelligence and wits to outthink the opposition, Still, she wasnt afraid to get her hands dirty, even if that was outside of her comfort zone.
That is the great attraction of her character,
Artima's Travels has plenty of action and non stop intrigue incorporated into it, It blends atmosphere, solid characterization, mystery, tension, action, and exacting descriptions of hightech warfare platforms and procedures, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys very interesting, indepth, and realistic thriller books,
Set in the near future, The world has begun to recover from the pandemic when news of a missile misfiring in the Pacific rocks the nation once more.
The Navy seeks out the leading software expertise of Artificial Intelligence Systems Enterprises AISE, AISE's chief engineer Artima "Arty" Ressols is leading the charge to track down the culprit while at times running into unexpected obstacles: people closest to her.
When it comes to one's Country and People, will overrides fear, In Artima's Travels by EA Dustin, we find a bold and relentless heroin in Artima, an ingenious engineer who works for AISE.
The premise is ever so relatable as the author sketches a backdrop of a postpandemic world.
However, things take a turn for the worse when there's rocket misfire in the Pacific, Horns of dilemma!
I absolutely loved the character of Artima, She's not only intelligent, but also extraordinarily brave and theres a leader in her, These characteristics were well portrayed through her actions and decision making choices,
Coming to the plot, the worldbuilding is a fabulous science fiction with a touch of reality embedded in the base.
The technicalities were all thorough and no doubt put together through immense research, The narrative is extremely fast paced, and helps building up that adrenaline rush,
Artima's Travels sparkles with an evocative trance that takes the reader on a whirlwind ride where reality and fiction collide! I won this as a Goodreads giveaway and am very grateful to the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Unfortunately I did not get very far through it before abandoning the effort,
I was a little worried when the very first scenes dealt with a demonstration of some kind of olfactory device that didn't really seem to do anything but the "customer" got very excited about it.
From there the story moved to overly descriptive breakdown of the process required to enter a secure facility on a military base and it all felt like someone who has been through the process once maybe but didn't really understand everything that was going on.
Unfortunately I am not a gifted writer myself so I cant put my finger on what was bothering me with this story up to this point but it was a bit disjointed and confusing and didn't feel particularly well written.
In the end I gave up when the Major in charge of investigating a missile accident at sea said he was going to add this small company responsible for some kind of smell related AI device as a subcontractor to the large company responsible for the missile systems so that they could figure out what went wrong.
All of this within hours of the missile event, Government contracting just does not work that way,
I don't want to seem too harsh as this may have gotten better along the way, but at the point I quit it seemed that a good military/government contracting advisor and another pass through editing would have helped this story immensely.
Artima's Travel is a Science Fiction and a technical fiction written by the author E, A. Dustin. Story is set in the future, The world has begun to recover from the pandemic, It was Arty'sth birthday, When she was enjoying birthday chocolate chips cookie with her daughter, she heard the news "Navy missile on carrier MMKmisfires in Persian Gulf at the Strait of Hormuz".
Arty is a Chief Engineer at the Artificial Systems Enterprises AISE, Her boss and CEO of AISE Ronnie Hief has called her to tell that Navy needs their help in investigating the cause of the accident.
Both Arty and Ronnie went to meet Captain Schwartz at the Greening Bowl Navy base in DC.
The system that has misfired was developed by the Navy contractor Deflock, Inc, According to Captain, Deflock is not sharing the full information with them and that's why he want AISE team to work in parallel to identify the culprit.
Grab a copy of this novel to know what Artima will discover during her investigation,
Story involves much technical details so one has to read this book with more concentration, Cover photo of the book is nice, Language is easy to understand, Artima's character is my favourite, Both personally and professionally, she has so many things to look after, It's a captivating story that I like to recommend to those who like to read detailed work, A Grand Read
Dustin pens a grand story in Artima's Travels, I haven't read anything from this author before, and I enjoyed it, I felt some of the wording was somewhat formal, but the story was interesting, and easy to follow, even with all the science and technology jargon.
Arty Artima is a smart and flawed character, which I love to have, She is working on something and has her concerns, where no one else seems to care, This is definitely a mix of science fiction, and yet an intelligence thriller, Arty knows the flaws, and yet she has to make a lot of realizations, The thrills and intrigue is written clearly and the characterizations are engrossing, I look forward to reading many more stories by this author, This book is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf s, Arty, an intelligent, loyal, hard working scientist/engineer/programmer is drawn into a morass of cross country flights, arrogant and abusive bosses, thieving acquaintances, misbehaving computer systems, and nurturing a family.
Through self sacrifice, humility, and determination, Arty exposes the culprit and saves the career of Navy Chief Carr.
Dustin's writing is pretty good, It starts a little rough, but by the end I was drawn into Arty's world, When I laid the book down, I felt like this was just on the nightly news or the actual events of a colleague.
I gave it three because it hurt me so much to see Arty getting cheated, dismissed, belittled, and mistreated at every turn.
It is horrible to realize that many have to go through such torment, I don't like suffering, even when Arty triumphs after all,
I have had the privilege of working in the computer field with the author, E, A. Dustin.
Wit meets misogyny is the best description, If you have ever worked in the tech world or in any kind of male dominated environment you will be able to relate to the struggles.
Highly recommended. Artima's Travels Part I Bookby E, A. Dustin
What I like about this book are many things:
relationships, tech pc things, coding, scents, travel and mix it up with missiles being fired.
Starts out out Arty and she's divorced but the ex is still nearby for their daughter and he coaches her after school.
She also works at high security top notch projects for the government and is called about often for input and manipulating data to make things work.
Love how this also occurs during the virus and love hearing about all the precautions and solutions put in placewe still have a ways to go before the state eradicate it.
Hate how the men treat her and don't think her skills are that superior, Love how she follows the clues to help clear the officer's name of wrongdoing especially when her program was one running when the missile fired.
Action is fast paced and it's clear who all the players are and what they want from others and take it, sometimes not in the right manner.
Sad to hear about her brother but glad about her decision, can't wait to read more about her and the projectsthey are SO fascinating to me and I wish I had a watch like hers.
A KEEPER!

The writing of the story is engaging and crisp The plot and the storyline are outstanding.
Actually I have no words to describe it, Author has done a great job by creating this story, The best part was the flow of the book, Easy and instant connect with the content,
This book is a brilliant combination of action, Science, and of course mystery
The characters are well developed and strong.
The author has used easy language throughout the book, which makes it a quick read, Beautiful narration makes it even more engaging,
Recommended to everyone who's reading this review, In my opinion, this is E, A. Dustins best book! The depth of character coupled with the suspense of a missile misfiring in the Pacific rocks makes this book so memorable that I read it a second time just to enjoy it again.
The plotting is fantastic, but I have to say that it's the way the author crawls into the mind of a troubled AISE's chief engineer Artima "Arty" Ressols that makes this story so rich for me.
The book ispages but it can be read in a very short time, because the desire to see how it ends is great.
Dustins writing is very smooth and engaging, because it is very descriptive, and the characters are represented in an exceptional way.
The psychological part is also very thorough and helps a lot to give the thriller atmosphere, A great book. Artimas Travels is a thrill ride you won't want to miss from start to finish the plot keeps you guessing.
Politics, military technology/tactics, and character motives, they are wellplaced, wellwritten and above all wellused, To me, most of them came across as necessary for a reader's understanding of what was about to happen, they were interesting and they weren't so long as to drag me out of the story.
But what's endearing about this book is the character development, Too many thrillers go only for broad caricatures, This one gives us the details that make people feel human,
In the end, I give this, stars, which means "excellent in its genre"! If you have somehow managed to miss the technothriller genre entirely, Artimas Travels is a good book to start.
Totally riveting! Breathlessly exhilarating! I bet youll find difficulties to put it down, .
