The two characters in this story Mona, the pregnant female that has ran away from her pack, has fallen in love with Chris, the alpha of his pack, Haven.
The scene of the story is so cozy, taking place in the winter time around Christmas time with snow and all, The perfect time to welcome new additions to what you would hope is to your new family,

To be able to leave your our family when you are so close to giving birth to your children is a difficult time and to find a family or a new mate knowing that not only are they taking you in but also the child or children that you have it difficult for anyone.
To be able to find someone like that is a blessing that you need to cherish for the rest of your life, Not only are they willing to take you in but willing to defend you from your former pack if they were to come find you.
Would you be able to find that kind of love in a new alpha and make sure that not only your cubs are safe but now your new family Only time will tell if the new pack will be able to protect you.

Unfortunately, the book was just meh, It had the basic elements of a shifter story but lacked depth, I didn't feel that the characters connected with each other on an emotional level, They acknowledged each other as mates and were attracted to one another but there was never a profession of love between them, Love this story! A wonderful way to get into the winter spirit, Touches of Christmas but also so much more with the paranormal aspect, Reading it actually makes me hungry for a big cup of coco
