Find The Janitors Wife Assembled By L.G. Davis Available As Volume
what a tangled web we weave, . . what another spectacularly written psychological thriller with only the masterful twists, plots and surprises that LG Davis can construe!
Viola and Alex Watson are expecting another baby again where they reside in Tennessee, like the unborn losses before, she is praying this one is born healthy.
In the blink of an eye her husband, the janitor Ends up in jail accused of the murder of a high school cheerleader of which he works.
Alex is no killer, or so Viola wishes to believe , and is relieved when he is released and another is arrested for the crime.
One year earlier before the Watsons moved, another local girl was found murdered, Was this coincidence or was Alex really a murderer
There are so many players in this game, with three families intertwined and so much finger pointing that we really dont know who killed Brittany until the very end!
As usual Davis has another gripping blockbuster on her hands!
Ok so I finished it so it gotstars.
The main character was soooooo dumb, As if she couldnt figure things out and her inner dialogue was super annoying, The plot twists were predictable, Last plot twist was absolutely the most ridiculous thing ever, There were a couple good scenes in the book but the MCs inner dialogue and idiocy ruined them,
The one redeeming thing about this book was the nice light it shed on true friendship, Loved this book. Kept me glued to it, The ending could have been different, . This book was an excellent example of some solid ideas that were poorly executed, The writing was choppy at best, simplistic without much development, If the revelations of the twists were written in a more subtle way, this would have been much more enjoyable.
However, the author simply tells us exactly what happened xyz without letting suspense build within the falling actions,
The husband never was like able, the main character Viola was insipid,
and the rest of the characters were underdeveloped.
Im shocked at the great reviews,
It is an easy read, as it is probably on ath grade Lexile level so maybe thats a positive thing for many readers
Ill say this I did appreciate the lack of profanity.
So Im throwing in an extra star for that,
A Sure Fired Stunner !
Viola was, when she fell madly in love with Alex, got pregnant and was told by her mother, that she was a very bad girl and she never wanted to see her again.
Afteryrs. of marriage, a local High School Cheerleader gets raped and murdered, she unfortunately, went to the same school, where Viola's,husband worked as a janitor.
Alex,Viola's husband was accused of the murder and the town, that they had lived in for a yr.
all turned against her as well,
Viola was pregnant for the fourth time and was terrified, she would lose this baby like the last three, due to all the stress.
Well, wonder of wonders,Alex was let out of jail, due to lack of evidence and his boss, the head janitor was charged with the crime.
About this time,Alex's mother enters the picture and she is a very wealthy lady,
Needless to say,she doesn't like Viola and the feeling is mutual,
The story starts to get crazy from here and just when you think, that you have things figured out, they take another turn.
This is not my usual genre' as it's about as far from, WWbooks,as you can get,
However,I started reading it and by the end of the first few pages, was really hooked and wanting to see what happened next.
If you like a great thriller, with a lot of twists and turns, you'll love reading this one.
L. G. Davis has got my vote and I will be wanting more ! Brittney McLaren's body is found in a grave in the woods that is close to the school she went to.
She was reported missing three months earlier, This causes a huge nightmare for Viola and Alex Watson when Alex is arrested for her murder, Alex was a janitor at the school she went to, Viola can't believe this because her own father went to prison for the murder of another girl years ago.
The timing couldn't be worse because Viola is pregnant and is hoping to actually be able to have this baby, but she is having problems with the pregnancy.
But is her husband a murderer Viola finds out secrets that will change not only her life but others also.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book, Fantastic
I loved this book it kept me guessing right up till the end, The story starts with a a local school girl being murdered but who is the killer, Viola is the women who's husband has been accused of the murder but is he the killer This book kept me hooked trying to figure out who to trust and who was telling the truth and who lies.
I liked some of the characters others not so much, This is a good book that will have you trying to figure things out, then you think you have things figured out and boy was I so wrong.
Great writing again from L G I just get so excited when she releases a book I just love her stories.
It was difficult but I finished it, Please dont waste your time on this on, This book takes place in a small town outside of Nashville, and parts in Nashville, I had real hope for this book, there were a limited amount of characters which made it easy to read.
And basically, it held no intrigue for me, I knew almost immediately who done it, so it was anticlimactic to say the least, But there was a little surprise at the end, but by that time I was over it, ready to end the book and go find a much better one to read.
I just dont like to read books that are mostly unbelievable, I know that our justice system has its flaws, but this book was just filled with injustices, and made our justice pretty lame to say the least.
Augh, this did not scratch my itch for a murder mystery for two reasons:
One, I listened to the audiobook and I found the narrator to be overwrought it was distracting from start to finish.
Two: As a reader, I cannot stand when a book is in its resolution and then reopens with new plot lines, complications, and new conflicts it is a pet peeve, and this story does it IN SPADES.
Yes, I could predict most of the ending early on, but it was still worth reading because of a compelling protagonist.
The meandering that was introduced in the last five chapters was TORTUOUS, Convoluted
Its sad but true, convoluted is the only word I can think of, This story ricochets all over the place, and once it seems like its ending, the author decides to add another plot twist for no reason.
Luckily this is through kindle unlimited! Not bad at first, ending prepostrous,
This book was pretty good at first and then the plot points towards the end got nothing short of ridiculous the ending sort of reminded me of the end of an
episode of ScoobyDoo or something.
.
Meh. Skimmed a lot. What an extremely lame story and lame book title! Remedial writing, Characters are so dull and disappointing, Lots of whining, repetition, depression and lies and not seeing whats right in front of your eyes, Skipped a lot to avoid the stupidness of the characters and the plot when I got to the end, I felt like I had really wasted my previous reading time.
Why did I even pick this one to read It was a kindle unlimited free read with good reviews.
huh go figure.stars.
OMGosh, what a great read, . .
Once I started this book, I could not put it down, read it in one setting, this is an edge of the seat plotting read.
This story is so unbelievable and the main character and narrator is so intensely stupid it is painful!!!
I cant believe the high ratings this book is getting here!!! A local schoolgirl is murdered.
Her husband is behind bars, Did he do it
A year ago, after the devastating loss of their unborn child, Viola and Alex Watson leave Denver and start over in a tranquil town in Tennessee.
