Grab Instantly Pajama Pirates Conceived By Leslie Lammle Offered In Ebook
love how the first few pictures evolve to show the children in their bedroom to being on a ship in the sea.
Creative and fun!

Cleanliness: the children make a ghost out of sails.
Mentions Mother Nature.
Like my reviews I also have hundreds of detailed reports that I offer too, These reports give a complete breakdown of everything in the book, so you'll know just how clean it is or isn't.
I also have Clean Guides downloadable PDFs which enable you to clean up your book before reading it! Visit my website: The Book Radar.
The rhymes are a little forced in places, but the illustrations are top notch! A trio of siblings imagining pirate adventures together at bedtime.
Not outstanding, but could be a nice addition to a bedtime or pirate themed story time, I really wanted to like this book, but the rhymes were inconsistent and don't lend themselves well to readalouds.
The illustrations in this book were wonderful and engaged the imagination, I almost think this book would have been better if it had been a wordless picture book.
This might be a great bedtime book for an early independent reader who loves pirates, Used this as a read aloud to my students today, One of the worst written books I've ever read, It just didn't work, and my kids weren't into it at all, A cute book that takes you back to the time of sleepovers or sharing a room with siblings.
When your bed wasn't a bed and the floor was water, Love how Mother Nature in this book is Mom saying it's time to go to sleep, All children will be able to relate to the imaginative way they put off going to sleep.
Out of all the books in my threeyearold's extensive book collection, this one is probably my favorite.
I'm not even sure where we got it, Probably a library book sale or thrift store, It's definitely one I plan to hold onto, though,
To be honest, the story isn't the thing I love, though I am a sucker for pirate stories.
What I love is the artwork, The colors and illustrations are beautiful, And the way the margins shrink away in the first few pages as reality turns to imagination, then come back again at the end is genius.
The floor becomes the sea, the beds turn into boats, and the windows converge into a night sky lit by a giant moon.
It's almost like watching an animated short film,
If I was reviewing Pajama Pirates purely as a children's book for my son, I couldn't honestly give it five he doesn't really get what's happening in the story when we read it, but I enjoy it so much I have to go fullfive on this one.
I liked this book, however it is not something I would use in a classroom setting, I was really drawn to the illustration on the front because it had really bright yet pastel colors.
I think this is cute book to read with a child at bedtime but not one to read during school.
When night falls, pajama pirates set out in search of treasure but soon find themselves surrounded by foes.

Good bedtime reading. Dreams, pirates, and imagination. This is a softly illustrated pirate adventure book that ends with bedtime, Nice way to end a pirate storytime, The cute adventure taken by these pirates is great but the rhyme is forced, Sometimes we have a pirate themed storytime kit, and it is hard to find not too scary easy toddler early preschool stories, and this one seems like it might work.
It at least isn't too scary or long, It did make me want to go to sleep, which is sort of the point, Cute, rhyming picture book about kids playing pirates before bedtime, Would be cute to have a Pirate Pajama party at the library, This is a calming illustration of children's imagination at bedtime, The verses flow poetically along with illustrations in shades of blue watercolors, The illustrations could tell the story alone without the words, The children become pirates and imagine their beds as ships in the rough sea, The pirates experiences escalate as the waters become rough and pirate wars begin, As the seas calm, so do the pirates, Mother nature puts them to sleep,
This would be fun to read on a day to reward student's with a pajama party that has a pirate theme throughout the day.
I would use this in class to build vocabulary and to study phonemic patterns found in the rhyme.
Student's could choose an illustration from the book and create their own poem to share with the class.
Fun and imaginative tale of children who pretend to be pirates before bed, The illustrations are in a nice soothing blue tone, Their adventure is fun and expressive, Good for preKK. Gorgeous illustrations, cute story. Maybe a little forced. Its getting close to bedtime, which means its time for the pajama pirates to sail off for an adventure.
Three siblings imagine that a bed is their boat and head off for a treasure hunt, They defeat the enemy pirates just before their mother calls them back to bed, They row back to shore and fall into their beds to dream of buried treasure, sewing new sails, and buying new oars.
Lammles illustrations take center stage in beautiful two page spreads full of rolling waves, notsoscary enemy pirates, and treasure maps.
The nighttime motif of midnight blue skies and twinkling is
present throughout the book, Kramers rhyming text is short, but still full of wonderful imagery, “The flag reveals not friend but foe.
Pajama pirates on the go, ”
Although the storyline isnt particularly strong and the kids never actually get to hunt for treasure, the illustrations and the atmosphere of the book make up for these weaknesses.
Full at PictureBookaDay: sitelink blogspot. com/ Growing up my brother had a captains bed that served as our ship during our ship sailing adventures.
For a time both of my brothers and I shared a room so this story which is aboutsiblings a girl andboys reminds me a lot of my childhood.
It's told in a singsong rhyme that reminds me of the Llama Llama series by Anna Dewdney Three children put on their pajamas and take off on a treasure hunt, their beds and room transforming into ships and a vast ocean.
I love the contrast of blue and yellow in the illustrations and the whimsical look of the characters' faces.
bedtime story that nicely peaks in adventure, then mellows down to peaceful, sleepy ending, great option for pirateobsessed who are in need of a bedtime option written in flowing verse and highlighted with dreamy illustrations with strong blue tones.
requested twice by my audience, . . ! Doesn't quite make sense. A ghost from the sails that just looks like a holey sheet chases away the real pirates The illustrations are a bit too busy, swirly.
