Immanuel Kant
not sure how much I got from this, I only read about half of the first book, A Critique of Pure Reason, I think I get the gist, or some of it, We cant know whats real, We get most of our understanding through observations, which are just representations of reality, Some knowledge comes from our reason only, We can know a bit about how we observe, In particular, space and time are part of our way of understanding what we observe, Its really hard to read, The translation may be readable, but the volume is cetainly not complete, It is missing important political writings, such as Torward Perpetual Peace, which is why I bought the book, If you are interested in Kant's critical philosophy, the major texts are here, Otherwise, not so much. They couldn't spell "Works" right on the title, The rest of the "Woks" are incomplete, No Prolegomena! It is a must read Kant of course is a giant among philosophers, Though this is

far from a complete collection, Worse, though this book does include most of Kant's major contributions, it says nothing about his culinary preparation or the tools he used, I should have considered this as, during his time, it's unlikely have would have come across than a single "wok" and added it to his allegedly impressive kitchen.
I was quite curious as to how Kant prepared some of his legendary dishes, so this title did appeal to me, I can't be sure can we ever truly know what's "real", but I'm beginning to suspect the title is a typoand it was supposed to read "Complete WORKS of Immanuel Kant.
