Along with many others we were searching for a book with metric/UK measurements and this fits the bill.
We think it's a great book for people like us that are just staring their Ninja journey, I'm not sure as to what the negative comments are referring, maybe the paper Thank goodness I was recommended this book its so good and not American so you can source everything and the measurements make sense too! Explains in easy to follow instructions, lovely recipes, getting you used to your Ninja as you go along, great tips and techniques as you get through the book.
The Hardcover version is larger than the paperback versions and contains recipes well overin this updated version, pictures and due to the nature of the binding, is durable.
The Ninja Foodi from Shark Ninja is an incredibly versatile device and the cooking possibilities are endless, Many recipe books already exist for this device but none of them seem to cater for the British, Irish, Australian or European markets until now that is.
The recipes are aimed not at the kitchen gurus or the Ninja experts, rather to the proud new owners of the Foodi.
I've written the methods out in such a way that no steps are missed out, I don't use confusing terminology or abbreviations and use my words very carefully, The methods are written for someone who has not had their device for a long time,
I only include ingredients that are available to buy from UK supermarkets and every single ingredient has been checked via the Asda and Tesco websites often in store at Aldi too to ensure easy sourcing.
The recipes are written logically such that they start usually with the preparation steps namely what needs to be washed, peeled and chopped before any heat is applied to the ingredients.
When I need you to boil a kettle, I will tell you five minutes before you need boiling water in the recipe.
Recipes include:
Spicy chicken casserole
Sweet and sour chicken
Cottage Shepherd's pie
Thai green chicken curry
Beef curry
Irish beef stew
Full English breakfast
Vegetarian Asian noodles with lemongrass
Lancashire veggie hotpot
Toad in the hole with gravy
Cheese chive scones
Fruit scones
Marble cake
Carrot cake
Leek potato soup
Sweet potato onion soup
and so many.
Since the device is so versatile BUT is just one device, recipes are split between main courses, main course components, side dishes, soups and desserts, meaning that access to a kitchen is required for many of the recipes.
The Author assumes that the user has access to basic kitchen equipment, such as a refrigerator, a sieve or colander, sharp knives, a stove, a baking tin, a frying pan and saucepans, although many of the recipes do not require any further equipment.
Many of the recipes found within will be familiar to the user of this cookbook, but they have been tweaked or reimagined so that they fit to the Ninja Foodiinmulti cooker and many recipes will be completely new.
Many recipes also include full colour photographs but not every recipe, due to space and page count limitations, which keep the price of this book down.
An index of ingredients is also at the end of the book, making it easier to locate recipes based on whats in your refrigerator.
This book is available in printed formats, a colour version with the green cover and a black and white

version with a brown cover.
While the books are identical in terms of content, some users would rather pay for colour photographs whereas for other users, the price is important.
"I hope you get as much joy from this book as I did putting it together, well, and eating the creations.
If you can spare a few minutes, please write a short review so that others know what you like or dislike about the book".
Got the kindle version of this , its really nicely laid out and found the instructions and recipes really easy to understand, I have theinninjia but the recipes are easily converted for it , overall I would recommend especially for beginnersENGLISH meals and Recipes, unlike other books on here which areAmerican snacks etc.
Extremely happy to have found an ENGLISH Recipe book at last, Well worth the money, especially the hard back copy, It came highly recommended, but the recipes are a bit boring, and some have odd ingredients, If you like plain old British food and never used a foodi, I would recommend though, Pity because it's the only genuine British book of this kind out there, Don't buy any of the Clear instructions English ingredients and measures very well laid out book so pleased with the book and my ninja!
Im David, a Brit.
Im excited to bring my Ninja Foodi recipes to print in The BIG Metric Ninja Foodi Cookbook, Im proud of the fact that my book is the first to be written with Europeans in mind, Gone are the cups, degrees Fahrenheit and ounce measurements and embraced are the gram, degrees Celsius and the litre.
It may sound trivial, but this is game changing for owners of the Ninja Foodi all in one cooking devices.
If you like my books, Id be than happy to see your review, If youre fan, Id love to hear your feedback too!
My recipes are aimed not at the kitchen gurus or the Ninja experts, rather to the proud new owners of the Foodi.

Finally, I am already working on updates to the book so if you bought it as a kindle release, free updates will arrive on your device from time to time, bringing new recipes, better pictures and tips and tricks to help you become the Ninja master of your kitchen.
Thank you to those who took the time to add a review to my book, I genuinely appreciate all feedback.
A quick update: The hardcover version has now been released, While this has less pages, it is much bigger in size so has room per page for each recipe.
Plus there are a few bonus recipes in that version of the book, The cover of the book is much thicker and sturdier than the paperback version, The hardback book is the same as what is being sold as the Kindle Print Replica version, as it fits better into the portrait aligned Kindle.
