For books dealing with history, maps, good maps are essential to find your place, I hope he writes a fifth book, judging by the way he has been moving up the years since American became a nation,I am thinking he is going to write next either about the Mexican American War or the Civil War.
Well written historical book. Great for students of the UAS and how it was founded and developed over time, Una obra de fácil lectura que detalla con claridad parte de la historia de Texas, This is not another book about the Alamo battle, It is an examination of the history that led up to the battle of the Alamo and the aftermath that led to the decisive battle at San Jacinto, independence from Mexico and statehood.
It follows several key people through to I recall when Patrick Wayne reports to Davy Crocket, Jim Bowie, William Travis in "The Alamo", a scene which I never knew why with such a forcereportedly as had by Col.
Fannin, why were they unable to provide relief for the defenders of the mission at San Antonio De Loved everything about book The reason for my four star review is due to the fact that I found myself skimming much of the book prior to the battle at the Alamo.
