It'll provide you with a well rounded, general Great book, Easy to read, Holds your interest, I have visited several rigs over the past months and this book helped prepare me to not look like a total noob in the field, This is a great book about oil well drilling, It starts with the history of oil well drilling in the USA and then moves into detailed descriptions of a modern drilling rig with many detailed diagrams and actual pictures to illustrate the components.
It talks about Easy read, Required for college safety course, I need to add words, it's a book. chapters are short. Has pictures. Way overpriced. I assumed it was a hard cover book, Working the in the Oil Industry foryears this is the first resource I give to young people who are interested in finding a career in drilling.
