What do you think is the most salient information a reader should know before getting Love Becomes Her
I: I read far enough to figure out what the pivotal plot point would be, and then it became clear that it was smut adjacent at bestI feel more confident calling this womens litso I DNFed because I have more than enough books on my plate.


E: I also DNFed for similar reasons though Im not sure I could tell you what the plot issue was.
I really struggled with the fact that the supposed love interest was introduced one time for about four paragraphs in thechapters that I read.
And I didnt love the headhoppingthe POV shifting did not work for me at all,

H: The salient information is that this is really a book about four women who are middle aged and going through a big transition in their life, so in that sense it is much more womens lit.
There is a love story but it is not central to the plot, such as it is, The romance part thats good is: as a story of Barbaras sexual awakening, the story is really well done,

I read this book in a day.
When I received this book from a friend I didn't know that it was part of a series, She sent me booksand, I found booksandon Amazon, This series is great. I really enjoy reading about older couples finding romance, They are alland over and finding love and also finding themselves in the process, I'm so glad to have the opportunity to read this series, Great job Ms. Donna! More Friendship Than Love

This is the first novel I've read by Donna Hill.
I thought the story itself was good, however it was more about the development of a men's spa Pause, the friendship of Barbara, Stephanie, Ann Marie and Elizabeth, the men in their lives and their family dramas.
Although, the female characters were welldeveloped and interesting the novel was not about the love story of Michael and Barbara, Which considering the title 'Love Becomes Her' and the description on the back of the book was a little misleading and rather disappointing.
The few romantic scenes between Michael and Barbara were beautifully written, but their just wasn't enough focus on the couples relationship to allow you to get caught up in their story.
It was more of an empowering, uplifting tale about girlfriends banning together to help start a new chapter in their lives.
nd time I read it and I still love it, Fate has one last zinger in store for Barbara Allen, His name is Michael Stevens, he is a basketball millionaire, he's little more than half her age and he wants to spend the night!
Does Barbara dare throw convention to the wind and enjoy her very own boy toy
It's a decision she'll need the help of her three best friends to make.
