story with fantastic pacing and worldbuilding, I really have to say that I really enjoyed this book, I have read the other reviews and I do not understand, The character is far from perfect and he knows it too, I think that this book is a fun and enjoyable read, It has the feel of the old dungeon and dragon game books in a way, You might know what is going to happen while you read it but it is still fun to see how he is going to get out of the problem he is in.
I will tell you this that Sebastian gets into plenty of problems, I have read the other two books by this author of the series, If you think that Sebastian character was shallow in this one, You have to remember it is only the beginning, Over the last two book I have enjoyed reading how Sebastian grows,

The only reason I gave this book four though was because of the lack of real development, I know the factions hate each other, That is alright. . But it seemed to be told to the reader as dirty looks or pranks played against each other, On the other hand it might be this way in the book because the factions have to work together in the war they are fighting, So you have what is called an uneasy truth,
