Seize Your Copy New Markets (H.E.R.O., #2) Put Together By Kevin Rau Distributed In Booklet
enjoyable story and characters, Fun to read and to relax with, I have read the entire series several times, Wish more would come out, This is the second book in the fantastic H, E. R. O Homeland Extraordinary Response Organization series,
We meet up with the three leading characters from the first book, Psystar, Spartan and Black Tiger, following straight on from where the last book left us, it is now two nights after their transformation into Supers.
Our heroes are called to assist in a kidnapping of a young girl, but when they try to rescue the girl and investigate things further, the team find out there is a lot more going on than they first thought.
It would seem that the kidnappers are deliberately hunting and capturing new Supers and with an evil crime lord behind this, just for what purpose exactly could they want new Supers for Can our heroes find out why and save the day
What I really like about this series of books, is that it changes characters which you would normally only find in comic books, and by putting them in a book you can expand so much more on storylines and background and elevate what is an old idea of super heroes saving the day to a more complex and much deeper view of the characters lives and turning a simple pattern of what could have been comic books stories into a strong and original franchise.
I really like the fact of how down to earth all the characters are, as they juggle normal life with adapting to their new powers and new roles.
They remind me of new born animals that stumble and fall when first trying to walk after birth, after a few initial falls and a wobbly start you know the animal will walk just fine, just as sure I am that the characters will develop more and more as we go on reading the series of books, and go on to make superb Supers.
New characters are also introduced in this book and we also meet some of the Supers that already work for H, E. R. O which add to the entertainment and the stories development,
I cannot wait to go on to read the third book in this series and I now have my favourite Super!
Another book down in Kevin Rau's series of superhero novels.
He continues to develop his main characters while throwing in a few twists and turns, Kevin continues his easy to read style of writing and it makes for quick work in finishing the book, "What I'm done No!" At least I still have a lot of his books left, Well done Sir, well done! sitelinkH, E. R. O. New Markets is another great superhero novel by Kevin Rau, A criminal mastermind is capturing heroes to reprogram their minds and sell them to the highest bidder, How will the young heroes escape and who will they bring in to help them

H. E. R. O. New Markets is the second book in the series by Kevin Rau with the first book, H, E. R. O. Metamorphosis available as an ebook for free on Amazon, New Markets starts off just a few days after the adventures in the first book, The young heroes are still learning about their powers and adjusting to their new lifestyles as superheroes,
In this book Lance and Rael find themselves captured by highly trained soldiers working for an unknown mastermind who plans to wipe their minds and sell them as bodyguards to the highest bidder.
I won't spoil the whole story of what happens to them but can tell you their is plenty of action in this book,
One of the things I really enjoy about Kevin Rau's super hero series is the time he spends on what does and doesn't change in the young heroes lives.
In this second book Stephanie goes back to college but finds it hard to attend classes since her mindreading powers are always on and can overwhelm her.
She quickly finds it impossible to keep her new alter ego and secret with her friends and classmates, There are other fun scenes in this book such as Firebane, who doesn't want to be a superhero fulltime and keeps needing to leave to get to her normal job in time.
I found this additional character development refreshing because you don't get to see the "normal" part of a superheroes life in many comics books, Of course superheroes are not always flying around saving people or fighting super villains, They have normal lives also,
I rate this bookout ofbecause I love the characters and want to continue to see them develop as bot people and superheroes, These stories are highly recommended to anyone who likes superheroes from the comic books and movies, I also think that fans of urban fantasy or fantasy in general will find this series enjoyable and fast paced,
At.as an ebook the price is excellent and you can get the first book in the series entirely for free so what do you have to lose Try them, you will like them!

H. E. R. O. New Markets is a novel set in the H, E. R. O. universe. It explores the powers, life and interpersonal relationships in a way rarely seen in comic books or movies, It is a fulllength novel of approximately, words, I read the first three books in this series and really enjoyed them, The writing could certainly be improved though it did get better as the books went along, The characters were interesting but could have been better developed,
The point of view changes for each chapter bugged me, I don't mind changing from one character to the next, but then changing to third person didn't work, There is a reason that books are written in a constant POV, Also the subtitle of each chapter telling us which point of view it is now changing too is very annoying, Put their names by all means, but the words 'point of view' are now driving me nuts,
Despite my complaints, the storyline of the first book was enjoyable enough that I was happy to pay,for the second. And then for the third, The third book however was less enjoyable, I really think that Diva was overused and the prejudice against her 'ditziness' was rather annoying and rude,
I was still willing to pay,for the next book though, . . but guess what They've now jumped to,. No thank you : These books have some interesting moments and I really feel like the author has a good idea of how the characters' powers work, but I really wish there was more detail in a lot of situations.
As with the first novel, there's a lot more telling than showing which ultimately makes for a lessthansatisfying read, H. E. R. O. New Markets is about a group of heroes who are not only investigating a kidnapping, but are also adjusting to their newly found and still evolving powers.
The trio of new heroes must learn teamwork, and when to call for assistance, This book also introduces several new heroes to the H, E. R. O. universe including Firebane and a more indepth introduction to Gatecrasher and Chrome,
I have really enjoyed this series so far, New Markets is just another fun read, Rau's focus on how PsyStar's life drastically changes due to her telepathic power makes it an interesting read as well, I enjoy the character focus and their learning processes, The introduction of Firebane brings in a reluctant hero, unlike PsyStar, Black Tiger, and Spartan who were raised to be heroes, I look forward to picking up the next one of the series and seeing how each character grows, Following immediately after the events in H, E. R. O. Universe with novels, as well as start a fantasy series at some point, sitelink.
