Secure A Copy FOUND : The Rake And The Recluse : Part Two Designed By Jenn LeBlanc Provided As Audio Book
off to Jenn! Really great series! Can't stop reading it, . . On to book!!!
I will be reviewing them soon, original review with pictures posted at sitelinkRomancing Rakes
Kati: Ahhhhhhh! Partof Jenn's serial novel and I bet I know what you did when you got it: ogled the pictures.
And squealed when you saw Perry's name, At least that's what I did,
There are a few things I didn't notice in my first reading of the original book like the Iron Duke Taproom a nod towards Jenn's favorite book or the names of the cousins Auberry and Fallon.
She's got an interesting way of putting in minute details that you may not catch while reading since you're ogling the pictures.
What about you Catch anything nonspoiler worthy this read through
Jamie: Well, duh, Of course I looked at the pictures first, . . multiple times. Then I saw Perry and I got all excited, And Amberly Shaw! I have a little crush on him,
But Perry I love him and I love the way he and Gideon interact, Seriously, I can just see him goading his big brother and being a nuisance like any little brother should,
Kati: Oh Shaw the architect, He's got a little secret of his own,
I think this quote pretty much sums up our beloved Viscount Pianosexoverlord:
This man was the quarterback, the prom king, Mr.
Popular, the everelusive crush who didnt know you existed, and here he was with her, giving her all of his attention,
Jamie: That describes Perry to a T, Im pretty sure if I ever meet him I would just giggle every time he talked, I would also probably do something inappropriate like pinch his butt,
But, I digress, Partfinds us being introduced to whole slew of characters, from Roxleighs cousins to two people that are the key to who Francine is.
Kati: snort Yeah, Inappropriate. I would probably throw myself at him and then demand that he play something on the piano, Im getting ahead of myself, Totally hyping up the piano scene, But yes. The boys sure do have a lot of cousins and those two people will solve the mystery of Madeleine/Francine,
Jamie: Ok, enough being inappropriate, lets talk about the book, Partis titled Found. What do you think is the significance of that
Kati: Because we found Perry But seriously, I think it refers to a few of things.
Remember the girl in the first part Meggie's sister and what happened to herThat poor chap Amberley Shaw gets lost in the maze and Francine helps him out.
Gideon finds giggle a way to communicate with Francine through sign language due to loosing her voice kudos to Shaw for being awesome and knowing how to signAnd the most important: who IS Francine/Madeleine.
What's your take on the title
Jamie: I like the “because we found Perry” answer, But along with all of your answers, lets not forget that Gideon finds that he really cares about Francine and he doesnt want to let her go.
What about your favorite moment I was trying to find my favorite quote but I found myself liking the whole scene.
So my favorite moment is when Perry interrupts Gideons dream of Francine and Perry is told that he is to be drawn and quartered.
Oh, that Perry.
Kati: I like your answer, And haha. I totally agree. I think my favorite moment is near the end when Perry decides to become the guardian of the Larrabee girls and find out at there'sof then.
He then proceeds to drink himself into a stupor,
Speaking of the end, what the heck was that all about Definitely had me wanting and eagerly awaiting the next installment.
Jamie: Jenn LeBlanc is a TEASE! And that picture, oh just about died! And despite her picking that point to end this part I will still give thisstars.
Kati: Agreed,or in this casepurple hearts, And yes, that picture had me flipping the rest of the pages going, "Wait, there's got to be more, " Jenn's done it again, leaving us slightly satiated but hanging on to that precipice hoping to get the full blown fireworks and satisfaction.
OVERALL: Oh you guys, this Rake and Recluse Redux is such a fabulous idea, Additional scenes, gorgeous neverbeforeseen photos and endings that keep you coming back for the next installment, A dashing Duke with a glowering problem, a silent but headstrongst century girl, the quarterback Viscount brother, the architect with a secret and of course, half of the mystery of Francine Adelais Larrabee solved.
It is strongly recommended that you read this serial in order, Each installment does not stand alone,

So far, so good, The only thing that bothers me right now is how Francine seems to have altered from a feisty woman to a tentative, almost bashful woman.
I'll reserve judgment until I see where the author takes me,
The plot thickens! I'm really enjoying this series, And Perry is a great counterpoint for Gideon, plus he's hilarious, Originally reviewed at sitelinkAsianCocoa's Secret Garden
This serial novel needs to read in order, This review may contain spoilers,
Found is part two of six in The Rake and the Recluse serial and it was awesome! Gideon is now at Roxeigh House, his home in London, taking care of business affairs.
We are introduced to his younger brother, Lord Peregrine Trumball, Viscount Roxleigh, While Gideon is a bit uptight his younger brother, Perry is playful and doesnt let Gideon take himself too seriously, Gideon starts to open up about his true feelings for Francine and once the business in London is taken care of the two brothers set off to return to Gideons house in the country.
We also learn a little more about Francines back story as a foster child, And in this installment Madeleines parents arrive in England from France looking for their daughter, The Larrabees take one look at Francine and are convinced that she is Madeleine, Francine adamantly refuses to leave with them as of course she does not recognize them at all, Monsieur Larrabee demands that she be returned to them so that she can be married to an evil Earl that she has been betrothed to since birth.
But this betrothal is not as innocent as it seems and both Gideon and Perry decide to make a deal with the Frenchman to make sure Francine never has to marry Lord Hepplewort.
I said in my review of part one that this is like reading/watching a drama series and this “episode” was full of surprises.
We meet some new characters that add some fun to the book, The sexual tension between Gideon and Francine has been ratcheted up as well, The cliffhanger scene left me wanting more, Oh and the last photo of a naked Gideon in bed was very swoon worthy, The author, Jenn LeBlanc, was very mean to torture us like that, I am eagerly awaiting Taken: The Rake and the Recluse: Part Three to see what happens next and I suspect the photos are going to get a bit sexier.
quick read This is PART TWO of The Rake And The Recluse, it has been completely re edited with new scenes and new images and is being released as it was originally intended, as a six part serial novel.
This is NOT a series it is a SERIAL, that means it has to be read in order,
A woman out of time,
A man stifled by propriety,
A nemesis determined to take her away,
A brother to the rescue,
How will a powerful Duke deal with a woman who doesn't know her place How will a woman used to thest century survive in time where she is considered property
THE RAKE AND THE RECLUSE Part two finds Francine in the world of the Duke of Roxleigh.
The clashing of worlds in first installment of the completely revised novel continues as Francine finds her footing, discovers secrets about her elusive host, and learns more about herself than she ever thought possible.
Francine

Larrabee woke up on the wrong side of the century, She was fairly certain she went to sleep in her own comfy bed, but she doesnt quite seem to be there now.
Only adding to her problems is that she has no voice, is constantly being glowered at by a large, stunning man who is obsessed with propriety, and she is apparently betrothed to another horrid little man, determined to ruin her, and any other girls that get in his way.
How does she find herself in the past, when she couldnt even find herself in her present How does a self sufficient businesswoman survive in a time when women were still considered property for the whole of their lives and what is she going to do with this man who draws her to him so fiercely.
I was sitting in my room, following my morning ritual after waking, First thing first: I check my email, and what to my wondering eyes did appear No, not Santa, although I must have been very good at some point.

If any of you are unfamiliar with this author, I encourage you to download or rush out and purchase her books, But, warning, you must read them in order, . . Digressing Again Okay, okay. I'll get on with it,
Found is the second in a six book serial about time travel, propriety, circumstance, fate, romance, family, and love, It continues on with the story where book one ended, Our hero, Lord Gideon, Tenth Duke of Roxleigh, the recluse is off to London on business, He leaves behind Francine Larrabee, his injured, mysterious houseguest who he begins to develop feelings for, We are also introduced to Gideon's younger brother, Lord Perry, a Viscount, A very charming rake.

Thoughts on the series:
Jenn LeBlancs photography interspersed throughout the story only enhances the story.
Illustrated novels are a very new concept as far as I know, unique to Jenn LeBlanc, but with both visually stunning photographs and impressive writing Jenn LeBlanc has created a new format for a literary masterpiece.
Each installment of this series is uniquely crafted to focus the storyline and engage readers, With the story broken into segments, the reader is able to really learn each of the characters and understand the setting, The reader is transported from the pages of the book into the story,
for part:
This segment picks up right where Freedom ends, The Duke is on his way to London, where he meets with his brother, Lord Peregrine Trumbull, the rake, Gideon and Perry discuss their lives and Gideon confesses that he is very drawn to his new “guest, ” As Gideon spends more time in London, he realizes that his thoughts are never far from Francine and he cant wait to return to her.
Meanwhile, Francine is now free to roam the estate and she befriends the new architect, Shaw who is able to speak with her using sign language.
The Duke and his brother arrive home in time to learn the truth of who Francine really is, and front then on, everyones lives are changed.
Found is once again an appropriate theme for this segment of the story, Not only is Francines identity discovered, but both Francine and Gideon realize who they are to each other, They both discover their counterpart, and a new relationship is begun, The pull between the pair is electric, they communicate with every look, touch, and glance, With the new scene added in, the necessity for Gideon to behave in a “proper” manner is made very clear, There is so much to the overall story of the Rake and The Recluse, it is more than a love story of one couple.
The Duke and his brother have a strong brotherly relationship and sense of family, they befriend the lower class architect, and Lord Trumbull suddenly has an entirely new set of responsibilities.
As Found comes to an end, the stage is set for a new chapter in this saga, and I had to read part, Taken, immediately.
