The story starts from the Viren's life in hisst year at college in kurukshetra to how his decisions made impact in his life and the circumstances which were consequences of his decisions made him to commit suicide.

The story may be sounds like an usual one but the author have really written in a way that how every body could learn and realize the facts that how the life could take a toll towards us and how we take our loved ones for granted.

Author have also conscious in using a simple vocabularies with a lucid narration throughout the novel, Also the tagline of 'A Real Confession' have been justified by the author through the story,

Overall, A must read novel to have a emotional journey with some reality check throughout this short tale on Viren's life.
True, pure, emotive and soul touching, a story which tells u what to do and what not to do in relationships The story is worth astar, but I gave it abecause the story was so related to me.
. I could see me in Viren the lead role of the story, . .

There are no others to describe the story, . It is a definite read, .

It is not possible to believe that this is the author's first book, .

I am sure it will make you cry, . A heart gripping read Anyone who is currently caught up in the tangles of love, or is acquainted with someone who is, will be well acquainted with the shibboleths of contemporary love stories: true love.
It takes a lot of courage for a debut author to encroach upon the darker and gloomier aspects of love story without resulting in breaking faith in the oft repeated idea of true love.

The story revolves around VIREN who is a day dreamer, an egoistic, a hopeless romantic and an attention seeker afflicted with a bizarre madness and arrogance engulfing him.
It is the story of his life which encompasses love, dedication, eccentricity, friendship and overall his discovery of his true love and also the anguish of losing it due to his obstinacy and selfcenteredness.
It is a repertoire of moments coated with velvetiness of love and bruised by the thorns of betrayal, It highlights the situations which ultimately turns him into a devil, who wants to annihilate the whole world with his impiety, consequences being the least he cares about and eventually loses his happiness, identity and even himself in this process.

I could neither speak in words, nor could ever write it down
The loneliness, the emptiness your absence left behind.

Those moments spent in the warmth of your cuddle
Still linger in a cruel heart, . . in a guilty mind!!!
Whenever I dream, I see you so tranquil
Can I trace the reason of my going away and getting back never
If by closing my eyes I see you happy sweetheart,
I promise I shall close my eyes FOREVER! A good attempt by the author.
It is one of the purest form of love stories, Congrats Vineet Keep it up! I am heartless a real confession, is a romance fiction narrating the ups and downs of campus life of Post Graduates
not graduates, otherwise it would have had atleast some comedy in it.
Given that this is the writer's first book
he has done a reasonable job,
While the book is full of grammatical mistakes and bad sentence constructions, there is an overdose of them
for initialchapters.
This irritates the reader a lot and keeps him from being engrossed, The book starts becoming a
smooth sailth chapter onwards and the reader starts liking the book as the book proceeds towards ending.
He, then,
falls in love with the last chapter, The last chapter of the book is what sets it apart from the rest of the book, It is
interesting to levels that it can entertain the believer of platonic love, According to me the I Am Heartless'ssales can count
only on this chapter !
The book can easily be condensed to half with an effort of a few ours and would make a better read.
This new half version will contain the prologue, one chapter replacing firstchapters, chaptersand theth chapter in its original form.

There are a lot of whatthehell moments in the book, One such example is the english translation of the poem on theth
page ! Also there is an overdose of

characters which confuses the reader.
The writer could have done away with atleast
some characters since they are not used in the book anyway.

The prologue of the book connects very well with the last chapter and keeps the reader curious till the end.

The cover page of the book is a good job and the introduction at the back cover provokes the reader to read the book.

All in all, a good first effort has been made by Mr, Vinit K Bansal and I hope to see his forthcoming works getting better, By Vinit K Bansal. Grade B
As already made obvious by the title, I Am Heartless is about a heartless fellow called Viren.
The book is a romance novel written in the first person, It is about love, betrayal, friendship, intimacy and recklessness that Viren faces in his relationships,
“This is not only a story rather it is a real confession of a lover,
The story revolves around Viren a day dreamer, an egoistic, a hopeless romantic and attention seeker afflicted with a bizarre madness and arrogance engulfing him.

The book has been written as a confession on the part of the guy Viren, by the author Vinit K Bansal.
Viren is in search of his “Pari” who has always been in his fantasies and dreams since he was a child.
He doesnt find her until he meets a girl, Rashi, at the Kurukshetra University, Rashi happens to be the best friend of Mansi who also loves Viren but did not find any acceptance for it from our protagonist.

Viren falls head over heels for Rashi and thinks that she is the Pari he has been looking for ever since.
On the other hand, Rashi tells him that she doesnt feel the same way about him and buys some time.
This one sided relationship continues for a year and a half, without Mansi knowing that its her own best friend who is Virens Pari.
Rashi eventually tells Viren that she is in love with a different guy called Pratap and Viren is left heart broken.
He stops believing in love and decides to play around with girls just for fun, Mansi, who helps Viren get out from the trauma of the breakup, becomes his first and major victim,
The book has an uninteresting start and middle but catches up well in the end where it has several twists in the plot.
It proves to be really heart wrenching in the end which apparently was the goal of the author, The good thing that I found about the book was that unlike the other books by Indian authors, it did not have any unnecessary explicit content just to sell more copies.
One can find many similes in the book which made the sentences look beautiful, By constructing these enchanting sentences in between, you could feel that the author is into poetry a great deal.

However, there were some things I didnt like, In the first part of the book there were hardly any dialogues, I mean, youre writing a novel not a two paged story that you cant put any dialogues, This part of the book seemed as if it were a daily diary entry, Ill give you an example from the page number twenty three in the book:
“Next day I woke up early and got ready by sharpa.
m. I spotted Vikesh and Shyam in the corridor, engrossed in a discussion regarding breakfast options, We had some sandwiches and coffee in the university market and reached the department precisely ata, m. ”
Theres a use a lot of brackets and words in capitals in the book, Wherever the author has given the slightest description of anything, hes used brackets and minimized any description he could give, as if trying to make the descriptions invisible.
And where do you find CAPITAL WORDS like these in literature It clearly depicts that he is a debutant and has great scope at improving.

Also about the descriptions, some definitely did need to get invisible, Hes used Hindi words and then has written them in the bracket in English, I laughed when hed said “we were gazing at hot chicks girls” and “her Bindi dot”, Come on, we cannot confuse Chicks and Bindi for Chicken and lady finger!
The book also had flawed grammar and punctuation at several places which is really the editors fault.

As I said, the Author gets in to the form in the chapters towards the end and it makes up for the start and the middle.
An increase in dialogues also helps,
At last, I would say that there was one thing that I found in uniformity in the book and that was the overdose of narrative summary which rarely attracts a serious reader.
I would recommend this book to casual readers and I wish Mr, Bansal luck and hope that I find finer and better pieces by him to read in future,
