interesting in its way how I am mostly unable to write reviews for this series, and I do not plan to do more than mention a few things this time either.

I was tempted to rate this, stars, but one specific series of events/scene should not lead me to doing so, But there was enough there, positive/negative, for me to land onfor this specific book, Despite all plot strings that get wrapped up in this book,

August.star ratings
This is an addictive series, For every book i read from the series, i am only too fired to pick the next,
This had more closure than it's immediate predecessor and another cliffhanger and one i look forward to reading further about,
I think at this stage, I have to place Ali Vali as one of the writers that I can be almost certain picking any of her books will not disappoint.
I love the Cain Casey series, Once you start reading you're hooked, Umm, next book please :

I even loved it the second time around, In book five of the Casey Family series, Cain and Emma are planning a wedding before the birth of their third child, Cain has done everything possible to protect her family and get their lives back to normal, Cain is strengthening her partnership with the Jatibons and Carlotti families, as well as trying to help her cousin Muriel heal from FBI agent Shelby Phillipss betrayal.

But nothing can distract her from hunting Juan Luis down to make him pay for trying to take Emma from her, That is the most pressing problem to be dealt with before she can truly enjoy the life and family she and Emma have together.
Those plans are derailed with the arrival of someone who not only challenges her place as her father, Dalton's heir, but also her belief and loyalty to the man who raised her.
More one amazing book!
I love this series, In thisth book in the seriesth if you count the prequel, the story focuses mostly on Cain's pursuit of Juan Luis, who's hellbent on stealing Emma for himself.
There are also subplots having to do with Juan's mother, renegade agent Anthony Curtis, a spurned woman who still wants to try for Cain, and the emergence of Detective Fiona Brannigan.
But unlike in the previous books, the subplots are not as engaging as the main story,

This felt mostly like an inbetween book, holding together the last one and possibly the next, Cain and Emma's wedding inmakes no mention of marriage equality already passed in Massachusetts but not yet nationwide, That's consistent with a lot of what's left out from these books, i, e. , no mention of sexuality, little reaction to Cain and Remi as butch lesbians, no exploration of gender identity, I understand world building and alternative universes, but so much of these stories are set in the real world, it's hard to understand why the author has chosen not to deal with these other realities.

While all the Casey books are engaging, including this one, I'm going with ahere, I did something that removed the details of when I first read this book back in, Back then I was so sure that Cain would have zero chance of finding Juan again, but man, . . she's good. And thank goodness, Cain and Emma have officially and finally put a ring on it!! I enjoyed it,

This book wasn't as action packed as the others, But I still thoroughly enjoyed it, Now on to book. I am glad Juan is out coz that dragged, And this Tony stuff too needs to be zipped, Blanc and Mar need to sod off, Once you start reading, it is difficult to put it down, This series can be addictive, Derby Cain Casey is a force that you do not want to mess with, Emma Verde Casey is the type of partner that you want to have because she cares deeply and shows it, Although numerous loose ends were taken care of, some were not and different characters were introduced that makes me look forward to the next book in the series.
I can't get enough!!!!

O, M. G. And I don't use that expression lightly, Hey I'm cheering on the bad guys, because they aren't bad, You'll understand once you read this series, I never want it to end, So Ali Vali please keep writing, This series has everything. It will make you laugh, cry and cross your legs, Read. I want to double my rating as I did with the first four books, But it just gets better, No option read it. Enjoy Another look into the Casey clan! Loved the progress made in their lives, but seemed slower to me than the last books, Looking forward to what life has in store for the clan next! Love this series! The wedding There were happy tears, Cain finally has the ring that is rightfully hers, The relation to Fiona was a wild one, I had an idea that they were somehow related, but I was very far off about how closely related they actually were, Wow. I love that Remi and Dallas bought Cains parents home to build their life after the apartment, I cant wait for Kristen to find someone to make her less lonely, even if itll just be a cat, And good lord, how badass has Emma become! Such a character development, its fantastic, Looking back at how she started out Wow, In terms of Juan Loved the group effort, And even though I didnt know how to feel about Merrick when all this started out a couple books ago, its safe to say I am madly in love with her now.
Its impossible to dislike any of those characters, Except maybe Shelby and Fiona, For now anyway. Wow just WOW!! The plot twist oh god the twist, !! This one had me on the edge of each page i just couldn't put it down, Not only do we finally catch Juan Luis but also catch his mother who finally got what they deserved after everything they put Cain throw the pleasure of killing them.
!! But not only that but the fact that Cain might have an

older sister Fiona, This is to much info i know but its just crazy cause it also messes with what her family was told, But the best part is that Cain and Emma finally married, !!! I just hope theirs a sixth one because it can not end like this not with Anthony still on the lose but its still amazing.
I still can feel the reactions they had to all the news that was thrown into this one, Its amazing am just glad they tied the knot Emma and Cain of course, !! Hopefully there is more to their story the this because in Cains line of businesses its never over Ha! Am amazing book and i love them very much i love the series.
!! Major victories and a shocking secret

Emma is in her second trimester, the kids are growing, Cain catches her prey, another FBI agent gets involved, and Cain learns a secret about her father.
Hurricane Katrina heads towards NOLA at the end of the book, There's still one major player to catch, but what will happen with all of the new developments My favorite characters! Wish I didn't have to wait so long between books.
Love how they tie in with other books like "Calling the Dead" amp "The Dragon Tree Legacy", This one was a little slow for me in parts but I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the first, Cain if still my favorite character with Remi a close second, Okay, the beginning was funny because In fact, this continuation has more humor than the other stories, You've got to hand it to Cain, the woman is smooth, Like I said before, she needs her own theme song, What crime boss gifts the FBI with loops of songs such as Willy Wonka's "Oompa Loompa," "It's a Small World," and the theme song to Bonanza.
What's next, The Brady Bunch And who knew Lou was such a teddybear On another note, I was hoping, however, Juan would receive a Dannyesque style revenge, but ketchup, fire, and a bullet works too.
So this one finally killed the series for us,

Read the full review sitelink blogspot. co Not as good as the other books in this series but still entertaining, . . inhaled it.
