Acquire WitchLove (Witchblood, #3) Constructed By Emma Mills Readable In Version

WitchLove, the third installment of her “Witchblood” series, Emma Mills seems determined to prove that her bag o tricks is far from exhausted, I mean, the series already features vampires, witches, and angels, . . and she tosses zombies into the mix,

So, whats next What else can she possibly throw into the cauldron Dragons Dwarves Itll be interesting to find out,

Nevertheless, WitchLove finds us returning to poor Jessif you can call being a vampire and a witch poora trio of months after the catastrophic conclusion of Witchcraft.
Not much has happened during those months, beyond grief, but things heat up quickly, In short time, Jess responds to yet another surprise by fleeing her home and taking up residence with her witch family in the States,

The transition is less than smooth, Along the way, she finds that one love interest kisses like a brother not cool, another has serious jealousy issues even worse, and yet another sneaks into her room one night and tricks her into sucking his blood could be worse, I suppose.
Oh yeah shes also unwelcomed by a jealous cousin and has to deal with the aforementioned zombies,

I loved the nod to “The Little Mermaid” and the discussion of whether or not “American tasted different, ” The books pace was markedly slower than its predecessorsfar more YA drama than actionwhich isnt my preference, but the ending more than made up for that,

About the ending: if anyone had asked, I would have said it was unlikely that WitchLove would deliver an ending to trump Witchcraft, No one asked, of course, No one asks me anything but that isnt the point, Nor is it the point to explain that any doubt I harbored had nothing to do with Emmas abilitieswhich are tremendousand everything to do with the jaded New Yorker in me, who finds faults with endings far more than the average reader might.
The point is that amazing endings are hard to find and even harder to write and by this point, Mills doesnt need an amazing ending to hook people into the next book.

Nevertheless, Mills delivers a killer ending, Anyone who says he/she saw it coming is lying, Period.

I highly recommend the WitchLove series to YA, paranormal romance, and even light horror fans everywhere,

I cant wait for book four, Let there be dragons! This book picks up where 'Witchcraft' left off, Jess believes Daniel and Eva are dead, it's been three months and there's been no word from them.
After the council meeting Jess finds herself heading for the States and her family's coven in New England where she will hopefully learn to control her power,
My only real issue with the previous two books was Jess but she's much better in this book, she's matured and nowhere near as annoying as she was in fact I'm actually starting to like her.

This book is slower initially than the previous two partly due to the introduction of a new setting and people but it picks up and becomes an enjoyable read.

I'm givingbecause it felt the plot had a few holes in it but despite these it was an entertaining read, The following review is my opinion and not a paid review, I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion,

When we left off in Witchcraft bookin the Witchblood series, Jess and everyone else thought that Daniel, Jess' creator and the guy or vampire whom she is in love with along with his creator Eva think they both died in the explosion.
The explosion that was caused by a null bomb that turns vampires into dust upon their death, Jess' is very upset over losing the love of her life, Jess is not convinced that Daniel is dead because she still feels a tiny spark of the connection that she and Daniel shared, Jess herself would have died in this explosion if it had not been for Luke an angel who Jess fed from when Daniel did not show up in time to let Jess feed from him.
Jess' blood was drained from her causing her to almost die had it not been for Luke,

With Jess being halfvampire and halfwitch she wants and needs to explore her witch side, So after going to court for killing the vampire that almost raped and killed her, The council concluded that she killed him in self defense and released into the custody of her Aunt who lives in American, Jess and her new friend Brittany who is also a witch both go to American to live with her aunt, Brittany being a minor and needing a sponsor like Jess convinces her aunt to take Brittany in as well and help her get her witch licenses too, Jess wants to be on her own, to be her own person and own boss, Having her licenses will help Jess and Brittany to accomplish this, Jess doesn't want to be connected to Daniel or anyone else in this way,

After moving to America Brittany wants to find her family and eventually become a part of their coven, She wants to know and be with her mother's family, When she meets Jess' cousin Noah they make a deal with each other, Brittany wants Noah to help her find her family while Noah wants her to talk Jess into feeding from him so that he can get his sister Susannah to come home.
Brittany's family are into voodoo, hoodoo or whatever you want to call it, They are both very close and similar, She believes that her family are good people and not bad people, She is so innocent that she thinks her family would not hurt her much less dabble in dark magick, But when Brittany goes to visit them and Jess comes after her to rescue her she is in for a very big whopper of a surprise,

While Brittany has gone in search of her family Jess meets up with Daniel, She didn't know that he was in America, But when she sees him and he tells her again how sorry he is for making everyone think he was dead and tells her how much he still loves her and wants to be with her.
She is not ready to forgive him, Daniel loves Jess and will do or wait as long as he has to in order for Jess to be a part of his life again, Jess loves Daniel but he hurt her so much that she not sure if she can trust him,

You know I have really, really loved all three books in the Witchblood series but bookWitchlove is my favorite one, I loved that in Witchlove we get to see the witch side of Jess, Not that I don't l don't love the vampire side, I love reading about both witches and vampires, So with the Witchblood series I get to read about both, I think Emma has out done herself in writing Witchlove, The first two books sitelinkWitchblood bookand sitelinkWitchcraft bookare both excellent books don't get me wrong here but Witchlove was out of this world, I can not wait to read the next book in the series Witch Hunt, I was so happy to hear that there would be a fourth book, This is such fantastical news, Thanks Emma for writing a fourth book and I hope you continue writing more and more books in this series,

I was so surprised and happy at the same time after reading the ending of Witchlove, I couldn't believe it but I am so happy for Jess, I can't wait to find out how Jess will feel when learns of this news, Will she be happy or will she be sad In one way I think she will be happy but then in another way I think she maybe kind of sad too.
Emma please, please, pleaseeeeeee hurry and write Witch Hunt,

If you have not read the Witchblood series well the only thing I can say then is that you need to go right now and pick up a copy of all three books.
If you like reading about vampires, witches or angels then there is no way you could not like the Witchblood series, I can honestly say that Emma will not let you down with her writing or with the Witchblood series, Emma is another writer that I think no not think know that we should all keep our eyes on, Why you ask Well not that she's not already but she is and will be a star one day, She is going to be right there with the big dogs like Stephen King, "WitchLove" is therd book in the 'WitchBlood Series' and it picks

up where "WitchCraft" ended, Emma continues to fascinate me with her writing in the series, Another fast paced, smoothly flowing plot that just hooked me in right away, A total must read for all YA paranormal romance, vampire, and witches fans,

This review is based on a complimentary copy from the author which was provided for an honest review,
This review may contain minor spoilers for bookand bookas well as some spoilers for the very start of booksorry but it is impossible to review the book otherwise due to a huge twist at the start.
I dont say what happens but you will be able to guess simply from the characters I mention etc, To be honest you will probably guess it from the books synopsis anyway,

I have loved this British UK/NA vampire series since first reading WitchBlood and WitchCraft was equally fantastic, The ending of bookleft me very anxious to read WitchLove as several big events occurred that would obviously greatly affect the series and I wasnt sure if I would love or hate the direction things seemed they would take.

Daniel has always been my favourite character in this series so I didnt love this book was quite as good as the others due to thing concerning him.
I dont ever want to start loving the hero less luckily I felt that he redeemed himself later in the book,

Despite missing some of my favourite characters I enjoyed the fact that Jess was away from them all in America for most of the book facing new challenges.
Also despite partially wanting more of Daniel, I liked that this book focused more on Jess discovering who she truly was without his presence or their blood bond getting in the way.

Britt proves herself to be a kickass character in this book and to also have a huge heart even though it wouldnt have seemed that way when we first met her in book.
This book also redeemed a few other characters who had less than dazzling starts and introduced a few more great ones such as Noah,

Overall I thought this was a great continuation to the series and I have very high hopes for the fourth book WitchHunt which I believe is the final one in this series.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, this has not affected my opinions or rating in any way, .
