sitelink Was my first anthology in this genre and I liked it a lot.
Except the storyline for the main character, That was so so in the beginning but became more interesting later on,
This series is getting better and better, There are so many characters now and I love how their stories all weave together, Even better than the first collection!

I enjoyed this collection more than the first as Ms.
Ardent takes you deeper into the minds and desires of the characters, Not all relationships develop the way you think they will and some are a lot more satisfying than others.
Good insight into the inner workings of the minds of the submissives and their masters, I loved the idea of the exhibition a totally imaginative artistic feast, Just when you think it's over, the author has you anticipating the next book, A total turn on!

I was given an ARC to read and review this book thank you Ella Ardent! BOOK FOUR: sitelinkDECEPTION
A series of risks are being taken by all the main characters, but will the payoff be worth the sacrifice if everything falls apart

"All things come to an end, Rex.

The angst between Joanna and Rex is becoming a drag, I'm hoping that their little back and forth has come to an end.

BOOK FIVE: sitelinkEXHIBITION
The Fifth Book mixes art and sex in the most delicious way, and begins to bring the series toward an important precipice.
. .

There had been a crackle of tension before, one that grew, but suddenly the air in the studio sizzled.

Like it had been touched to an electrical wire,
Or something had broken free,
Shed gotten under Rexs skin, finally,
I was drawn into the dynamic between Rex and Louise, . . And I was completely helpless to defend myself against the wole "Art and Sex" plot line which ensued.
. .

I've come to understand that all of the characters in this series are completely in over their heads in their quest for pleasure.
I want to tell them to find balance before everything falls apart, . . But its making for such intriguing fiction, and I love watching it all unfold,

And now we prepare ourselves for the coming exhibition of Louise amp Rex, . . and the possible imploding of The Plume, . .

BOOK SIX: sitelinkEXPOSURE
This installment really brought
Take The Plume: The Second Anthology Developed By Ella Ardent E-Text
me back into The Plume series and reminded me why I fell in love with all of these characters in the first place.
. .

Still he resisted, He knew better than to encourage emotional connections with others, He knew better than to rely on anyone other than himselfand Athena had driven that lesson home today.
Even his systems and safeguards were useless unless people accessed them and followed his rules, He should dig a moat around his life, remain isolated and strong, . .
The previous books were starting to feel like an unending chain of screw ups between characters which seemed rather flat.
Admittedly, the story was amusing enough to keep me reading through the sixth book, so I hate to sound like I've been reading begrudgingly.
Having said that, the characters really began to flesh out in this book, we began to understand their motives and fears in a way that make them seem more human.
Yes, the heat and sex was undiminished, but this time the "desires" weren't limited to flesh,

I still have one big gripe This wellwritten anthology includes theth,th andth novellas in the The Plume series: Deception, Exhibition and Exposure.
Deception: This novella included Rex and his "gift," Louise, as well as Athena and The Count, The story moved along quickly and there were several arousing scenes described, The relationship between Athena and the Count was fascinating, Exhibition: This story brings out Rex in a different way and he sees Louise in a way he hadn't seen her before.
Mike decides to fulfill Joanna's fantasy of being shared and introduces her to his friend Eric, The scenes describing Louise's sculpture and plans for the exhibition are very descriptive and imaginative and the interactions between Joanna, Mark and Eric are riveting.
Exposure: Adding Eric to Mike's and Joanna's relationships changes everything, Eric is fascinated and doesn't think one night will be enough, Joanna wants to please Mike by being the perfect submissive, The night with Eric goes differently than Mike expected and he fears he is not enough for her.
The Count tells Athena secrets of her past and asks her to leave the Plume to be with him.
Can Athena dare to trust him with her love after being betrayed by him in the past Rex becomes vulnerable in a way he has not shown before and he meets someone who challenges him to trust.
This collection ended on a very suspenseful note and I can't wait to read the next installment! A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review.
I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion, Held steady at five, Interesting

The thrill continues, Again one becomes immersed from the start, My main complaint is the typos, It is distracting and unprofessional, I got this book a while ago amp decided to reread it,

There are a few stories in this book, but mostly it seemed to be about Louise amp Rex as well as Mike amp Johanna, as well.
The story began with Mike giving Louise to Rex as a gift, This meant he was treating her as a slave in The Plumes club, despite how shes not a member, which is defying the whole point of being a member of the club.
Then Louise decides to take another members cell amp enter the club on her own, When shes discovered, she is punished at the club, which again doesnt follow protocol since she never signed a contract or sent in her medical paperwork.
So this all seems to be unrealistic, when you consider how the club works, Then Rex is involved in an art gallery showing of his photographs amp some sculptures,

Again, no safe words were used more than once in the various couples, . . One person even thought that this was a turn on, . . Taking away someones choice, someones say in what is happening is not a turn on, nope, Pushing limits without the permission of everyone in the scene is just not right, period,

When Johanna is “given” to Eric, Mike is astounded that she doesnt protest, Yet she never had a safe word to begin with, amp she also never participated in any discussion or thought process with him about the evening they began with, anyway.
So it really shouldnt be surprising that she didnt say anything, amp yet again, this does not make sense amp just isn't safe.
Loved them. This anthology includes the second three erotic novellas in the Plume series, Included are: Deception, Exhibition and Exposure,

It is available in both a digital and print edition, .
