Love's inevitable as the two misfits bump against their attraction while they protect themselves and each other from the rabid townsfolk.

Befriending a feisty waif and making her his deputy wasnt in his game plan, especially when he finds out theres a voluptuous woman beneath the grime.

Rosalyn Benedict fled to the streets when her mothers life met an unwarranted end, Angry at the townspeople for the injustice done to her family, she kept to herself until Sheriff Noah Calhoun befriended her.

nice ending to the series, This is the last book of this series, I loved it, one of the best, Noah is the adopted son of Nicky and Tyler from thest book in the series The Bounty.
He meets up with a ragamuffin homeless woman Rosalyn Benedict who just makes him think of himself before he was adopted.

He

takes the job of sheriff and there is some corrupt dealings between the mayor and the cow owners trying to run out the sheep hearders from the town.
And they expect Noah to help out, Noah wasn't raised to do things wrong though so this town is getting a honest sheriff, It may be dangerous for Noah,

This was a great ending to this series, I have enjoyed all of Beth Williamson's book thus far, This one was no exception, After an accident nearly kills his father, Noah decides to leave his large, closeknit family to find his own place in the world.
Using the skills his exbounty hunter father taught him, Noah finds a job as a smalltown sheriff.
Rosalyn Benedict doesnt need a freshfaced dogooder sheriff trying to help her, Living on the streets since she was a child, Rosalyn is smarter, tougher and stronger than most people ever hope to be.
With her stubbornness and his pigheadedness, will Noah and Rosalyn find that one place where they both belong This is probably my favorite from this series, and that's saying a lot! There isn't one of these books I haven't enjoyed.


In theory, this is a much simpler story than the others, but there is a freshness to it that I loved.
The hero is a good man, trying to do some good and make the lives of those around him better.
The heroine has been dealt a sad lot in life, but has some wonderfully endearing traits, She's survived on the streets on her own, and she says and does what she thinks no secondguessing or misunderstandings here.
When she wants to kiss the hero, she does!

I'm giving this,ish because I loved the hero and heroine, loved the plot, loved the simplicity and it left me feeling happy.


I guess of all the heroes in this series Tyler is probably my favorite, followed by Ray and then Noah, and of the heroines, Nicky is my fave, followed by Lily and Rosalyn.
But I'll be honest, I'd recommend these to anyone, The plots, the characters, the steam are really great for an involving quick read, Noah Calhoun left his family after a bad incident that almost killed his father Tyler, Now in a new town, he is now the sheriff, But not everything seems as nice as it did on first glance,
Rosalyn Benedict has lived on the street since she was eight years old and wouldn't accept no ones help.
Especially some newbie in town, But Noah Calhoun is persistent to help her,
As Noah helps Rosalyn and they get to know each other, their walls around their heart start to crumble and before they know it they have fallen for each other.

But the problems in their small town is a danger and threatening their very lives, They have to work together to solve it and stay alive so when all is said and done, they can get married.


The Legacy was another great adventure to read, with action, passion, friendship, trust, family and love.
