Find Femme Fatale (Vigilante, #7) Imagined By Claude Bouchard Offered In Volume
fast faced book. Not as much mystery as I would have liked, but I enjoyed the story, The new characters fit in very well with the characters we already know and love, Can't wait for the author to get another book out, Good novel and I enjoyed reading this novel, I recommend this book to everyone, Hot on the trail
Leslie heads to Paris for some vacation time with her love, Dominique, but just hours after arriving finds Dominique and her sister, Corinne, have gone missing.
So much for 'down time'! Leslie sets out on the trail, tangling with sex trafficking, drug dealers and just overall greedy bad guys, Plenty of action. In keeping with the tradition of this series, Femme Fatale is fastpaced and enjoyable reading when you're in the mood for some crime fiction, The Discreet Activities team is reminiscent of the IMFMssion Impossiblein that they are able to get things accomplished in the criminal justice arena which few other agencies could.
Woe be to the criminal enterprise which pings on their radar,
Which brings me to this edition, in which the newest member of the team, Leslie Robb, simply wants to enjoy a quick vacation from fighting crime in lovely France.
Alas, a human trafficking ring puts a damper on her plans, and their own hopes for a lucrative future, when they kidnap her lover, What ensues is riveting action and Bouchard style justice, If you've liked the series it's a must read, If you like the genre, check out the series, Again from Claude Bouchard in the Vigilante series another fast pages turner book! Really enjoy reading this series and the characters development make them more true.
I was having a little more difficulties with this plot I do not know why probably because it was outside of the Quebec province and I was not able to use my bearings but still a fast action book that it is hard to let it down!! Recommend and a huge thanks to the author for sharing his talent! Bookof the Vigilante Series
Less than two years earlier, Leslie Robb, an accountant in her late twenties working for the Imperial National Bank, had seen her lifepartner and coworker, Gina, shot to death during a bank heist subsequently foiled in part by Chris Barry, millionaire and clandestine operative of the government's 'Discreet Activities'.
Taken as a hostage along with Chris by the remaining robbers onto a helicopter secretly piloted by two 'DA' operatives, including 'DA' head, Jonathan Addley, Leslie had played an integral role in helping bring the offenders down.
As a result, thanks to her sang froid, sense of moral justice and martial arts affinities, Leslie left the world of finance to fight crime as a member of the 'DA' team.
Now, Leslie has a new partner in life, Dominique Petit, a Canadian/French dual citizen who suggests Leslie visit Paris with her while she is in the City of Lights on business.
Less than twentyfour hours after Leslie arrives, Dominique and her sister, Corinne, disappear, turning Leslie's vacation into her own business trip of justice and revenge.
. . A great addition to the 'Vigilante' series! This story centered more on the newest member, Leslie and her adventures as she flies off to Paris to be with her love.
Bad guys causing trouble Absolutely no one will get away with that while she's on the case, Add in her partnersinjustice, Chris and Jonathan and these guys won't stand a chance, right But a disappearance isn't solved easily and will require everyone's talents if it will work, hopefully.
Mr. Bouchard has written another excellent story that made a tense and fastpaced read, I'm ready for more! There's a bookthat I'm looking forward to! Well done! A brilliant story, Another fastpaced and enjoyable small thriller, this time in Paris, where Leslie's lover is kidnapped and taken to Africa by a prostitutionslaver ring, Totally improbable, but it tugs at that inner sense of justice, watching the bad guys get some of their own back, Another winner
Claude Bouchard has again written a novel about poetic justice that will have you believing the characters and circumstances, with plots that we as a society find unacceptable.
Leslie Robb flies to Paris to meet up with her partner in life Dominique, for a small vacation, Too tired to join her lover and her sister for an evening of dancing, she awakes the next morning to find Dominique and her sister Corinne have been kidnapped.
She phones Chris Barry and Jonathan Addley to recruit their help along with the girls father Henri, to
find them, . . no matter who she has to take out to do it,
They find out that there are many girls that have been kidnapped and been taken to one of three of Mustapha Kaddur's villas keeping the girls drugged up and used for sex.
With the the DA on the case the bad guys don't stand a chance!
Once again Claude Bouchard has keep me on the edge of my seat until the very end!! I could not put his book down, wanting to see what was next.
.
Leslie has made a great partner with Chris and Jon and fits in marvelously, It's the Leslie Show, with a little help from her friends, Plus you get a free trip to Paris! Good job!
