Danish Pastry” by LaRae Parry is a very entertaining love story with a paranormal twist, The characters are interesting and the experiences they go through are humorous as well as heart wrenching,

The very first character we are introduced to is Leslee Larsen, who is running away for Denmark because her father wants her agree to an arranged marriage.
Did I mention her father is a king and shes the princess of Denmark Its hilarious to read about her journey to California.
She tries hard to keep her identity a secret but the royal in her comes out without warning, Then theres Dax, the playboy, Hes not a bad person, he just allows rich women to give him gifts because they cant resist his charms.
Theres also a bunch of hotel staff, the women Dax is friends with, I enjoyed this group of women, Theres also a ghost haunting a room in the hotel they all work at, And its also the same room Leslee ends up living in, If that doesnt call for an entertaining read, then I dont know what does,

Dax is immediately attracted to Leslee, who happens to look exactly like the ghost, The princess is attracted to his gentleman ways and they both feel a strong connection between them, What follows is a series of events that includes Dax trying to solve the mystery regarding the ghost and Leslee, the group of women being attacked by the ghost, Leslees identity being revealed, and Dax and Leslee falling in love with each other.
There were some scenes that made me feel angry, such as Troy trying to have his way with the princess and especially when her credit card gets stolen.
In the end, Heidi found forgives in my eyes but I still

feel angry at Troy,

The last chapters are the ones with the heartbreak, I kept reading through the pages to find out more, The thing that happened to Dax was horrible and I couldnt help but feel sorry for him, Having watched Roman Holiday, I didnt want the story have to have a similar ending, I wanted the lovebirds to meet again, As far as character development goes it was good to see how they both found love and forgot about worldly possessions, especially Dax.

“The Danish Pastry” by LaRae Parry getsout offrom me, Its the first in what seems to be an interesting series of love and a ghost that has an interest in the couple.
If you loved Roman Holiday or even the Princess Diaries, or just little love stories with lovers from different worlds, then this is for you.

sitelink wordpress. com/ Readers, rejoice and relax, this is a story that anyone can read, and every character in the story is portrayed positively, which is a nice change from other books nowadays.
