loved Ava right off the bat, "I bit my lip, searching my mind for a way to tell her that it was the fugliest thing I'd ever seen without offending her.
" Ava she can be bossy when needed, "take off your shirt, " My face immediately flushed with heat, Had I ever ordered a man to take his shirt off before Pretty sure that was a negative, " Karson I did like him, "he hesitated, as if processing what I'd said, "I'm tempted to make a joke about you touching the arsenal in my pants, but it seems to easy, " And I loved what went on in his mind where Ava is concerned, "damn Ava and her effing moxie, Setting up a meeting with a demon on her own, Coming on to me hell, it had taken everything I had to walk away from what she was offering, " I liked reading this book,
With just a touch Ava Keller can see the future, Living in fear of her visions, Ava is always careful to avoid contact with anyone, When an innocent exchange leads to an inadvertent touch, Ava sees a horrendous vision of a mans violent death and she knows from trying to change the outcome of her visions in the past, there is nothing she can do to change the future.


Karson is a man whose past has shaped his future his family was murdered by demons and he has dedicated his life to seeking justice on the demon who killed them.
Working as a Venator, a group whose sole purpose is to fight the demons, Karsons latest target has possessed the body of Thomas Winston the man whose touch showed Ava the vision of his death.


When Ava sets off a course of events that threatens her life, Karson finds himself doing everything he can to protect her even when that protection puts her in further danger.
As Ava and Karson work together to fight the demons who are threatening Avas life and plotting to destroy humanity, they must also deal with an undeniable attraction that exists between them an attraction that could prove to be Karsons undoing.


I really enjoyed this book and appreciated the characters and the rules that Tiffany Allee created for them to play by, It was fun to watch Ava grow as a character she always had an inner strength, and it was fun to watch her take responsibilities for her actions, stand up to Karson, and ultimately begin to see her “curse” as a gift.
Karson was great totally alpha but broken by the events of his past, So convinced that he cannot allow Ava into his life because she can only be considered a weakness for him and then realizing that he is weak without herloved it!

This was a great PNR read, with lots of action and twists and turns that kept me turning the pages and finishing the book in one day.
There was plenty of romance and heat between Ava and Karson and I loved the fact that it was used to enhance the suspense of the book and tell their story rather than just being a gratuitous sex scene.

Intense romance inside of high stakes and action, Karson starts off as a rough hero, Following the deaths of his family, he's lived in a world of anger and violence, It's kind of fatalistic. He isn't looking to improve the world or himself, He just wants to destroy as many demons as possible, all while believing he's probably not going to survive it, Ava's the opposite, sheltered and isolated because of a psychic sensitivity triggered by touch, She's resigned herself to a small life, until a vision tosses her into this world of demons and demonhunters, and it looks like her psychic visions might be worth something instead of just a pain.


While their physical attraction to each other is immediate, it's the way that they draw and thaw each other that's a delight to watch, Ava's interactions with her friend Miriam are an absolute delight, It's nice to see a female friendship in a romance that feels like it's existed for a long time and doesn't require the friend to further the plot by telling the female lead she needs to date or get laid.
Would love to see more of this world! Temptation by Fire is a largely forgettable Paranormal Romantic Suspense novel, It has an exciting premise: physic tries to save a man's life after seeing his gruesome death only to be sucked into a world where demons are real, and the hunters are sexy! Ava has always considered her visions a curse, but it's what brings her to Karson, a demon hunter out for revenge.
This is all well and good, but I could not keep my mind on this story for some reason,

Every time I sat Temptation by Fire down and picked it back up, I had forgotten what I had read, Nothing would stick. I just was not interested in these characters, Karson was pretty flat for me, All he wanted to do was exorcise demons and kill the one that murdered his entire family, And have sex with Ava,

Ava was just all over the place, First she sees a man die by fire and warns Karson since he was with the man at the time, Karson explains that what she saw was a demon, but she gets it into her dead that Karson is the demon when she walks in on him trying to expel the demon from the man's body.
But then she wants to help, so she goes on an "undercover" date with the demon and then freaks out because something is "off" about him, No duh! He's a demon! I was so frustrated with her!

Of course, in the end, good triumphs over evil, I couldn't begin to explain to you how Ava and Karson beat the demons, because like I said, it's totally forgettable it, I can tell you that Temptation by Fire does have the requisite happy ending though, I just didn't care.demon hunting! Ava has a special gift but its also a curse, She can sometimes see a person's future by touch and when she comes across a young man who will die a horrible fate she goes to warn his friend.
What she doesn't know is that the friend is Karson a demon hunter, Karson is pure alpha male with a tortured past, His family was murdered by demons over a decade prior and he has been out to hunt demons ever since,

Paranormal books are not my favorite but as a fan of Heather Graham, and others I do like a good story with some elements added in that are Paranormal from time to time to keep it spicy.
This was a good fit for that, as there was some serious steam factor with Karson and Ava, The tattoo twist was interesting and so was the bashiment of the demons, Fast paced and a easy quick read atpages, Also, there were other side characters that would make for other stories in the future from the same author and some things seem to lead in that direction so it will be interesting to see if it leads to more books following those characters.

Avas desire to do right and prevent Thomass demise, brings her into a shadowy world of demon hunters, and demons themselves, . .
Ava will have to find the strength to fight, survive, and maybe even love,
