Free StyLIZed: Liz Uys Ten Style Essentials Designed By Liz Uy Available In EPub

personally think this book is a must have for all the girls who love to dress up, A lot of tips were given and there were a tad bit of fashion history that I enjoyed reading, The style essentials that was introduced were also easy to remake, Though I can't help but compare it to Nina Garcia's The Little Black Book of Style, it's similar yet it's different so it's still worth having/reading.
For a girl who used to just pick out whatever's in her closet and go, I never really thought I'd find this
Free StyLIZed: Liz Uys Ten Style Essentials Designed By Liz Uy Available In EPub
book useful but boy was I wrong.
Liz Uy's StyLIZed is like the ten commandments of fashion, She catalogedcommon closet pieces and styled it in multiple ways some I still couldn't fathom, My personal favorite: Chapter. It's such a great howto book and it makes you feel confident, Empowered even. There's nothing better than dressing up like it's your last day, Grab your copy and get styLIZed! Tips from THE expert, Loved reading this book!

I'm not really a fan of Liz Uy's style, but I have to say, hertudded book is not that bad! It comes in handy for both the fashionistas and the clueless.
And if you want to learn a thing or two about the basics, having a copy of this wouldn't hurt,

Aside from its visually appealing layout, I like how she provided tons of information and illustrations about every featured musthave wardrobe staple like the LBD, white tee, blazer.
. . THE BASICS! She also came up with tips on how to mix each one with other items for various occasions, may it be for a business meeting or just a night out with friends.
It also includes a D, I. Y. Denim Shorts guide, the notsocomplex Anatomy of a buttondown shirt and many more! I'm telling you too much already!

The only section that made me so disappointed was the "right jeans for every body type".
I just wish that there was a section dedicated to the "plussized" women, because it just showed ensembles for the slimmer body types,

I found this book very insightful, The fashion tips here are nothing original but they were interlaced beautifully, if I might add to inspire you to bring out your own style.
I got a lot of pretty ideas about mixingandmatching from this book and I find myself scanning the pages again from timetotime to find new inspiration.
Props to Liz Uy and the team! Perfect fashion book for fashion noobs and for people with limited budget, I love how Liz Uy turnedstyle staples in more ways than one, and all the ways of reviving old clothes, Plus points for the Toni G, Georgina Wilson and Bianca Gonzales features, I love it! asd The best thing about this book was the illustrations! The sketches made for a great breather on an otherwise textheavy book.

Other than that, I also liked how Liz Uy went in to detail in selecting herbasic essentials that should be in every woman's closet.
I thought that the sections where she went over different scenarios by mixing and matching trendy pieces with the basics was well though out as well.

My one comment about this book though is that while being really attentive to detail, it totally missed discussing a big chunk in this StyLIZed's demographic ageswomen: plussized women.
Most sections only showed pairings for petite/small to medium frames and particularly left out the body types that lean towards the heavy side, I got really mad when I got to the part where the book illustrated the "right jeans" for every body type and lo and behold, the sketches all look like slight, tall women with really small waists.

Anyway, would I recommend it to others Sure, but with reservations, I think it's a good book and a great starting point for fashion newbies as it gave great style advice, I was just a bit disheartened that the suggestions and tips in the book are limited to an audience that have small to medium body frames.
The right book to start my fashion transformation as yearcommence, charot!!!
Well, atleast now I have an idea, Good read for fashion noobs out there like me,
I just wished it contains more tips and styles, Bookplease I wish it had more DIY pages haha but reading the book made me realize how much fashion im missing out on bec i only wear dresses Great book indeed.
. its a big help on my simple fashion pieces This was written by a popular Philippine stylist who seems to know what she's talking about and has numerous connections/ friends in the entertainment industry to model for her in her book.

Just bought this on a whim but it has proven to be interesting, The blurbs telling the truth, its a helpful and concise guide to the basics of good fashion, A must have for fashionistas and for those who aren't! This book can guide you in creating your style, but reminding you that basics are classics that won't go out of style.
Lovin' this book staysassy Must have! Learning the basics into clothing, tips and tricks to fashion world, and adding your personal style is what I have learned in Liz Uys book! :D

I am in mys, and dressing up is still experimental.
But I have known that being comfortable with whatever you wear is the number one rule in knowing your style and second is being confident to pull it off altogether.
Such an easy read but I found it to be inspiring because I've always believed that fashion is art and styling is an art, too.
Plus, it's like a magazine in book form, which is cool because I have this obsession with magazines, I have to admit, I wanna read more from Liz, clap clap All the classic pieces discussed in one book, ltit! Just a reminder for us girls to invest in basics that can survive the needs of time and get us through for years.

The basic essential in fashion doesn't need to be flashy and all, This basics is a must in every girl's wardrobe, Simple yet elegant and classy, I had so much fun reading this and let this information stick with me, Being fashionable doesn't mean you have to be so much bongga and flashy, this book helps you to be simple and yet elegant without junking up your self just to be noticed or whatever.
Keep it plain and simple like this ten essentials,

This book is very informative and helpful, So go get yourself some plain white tees, jeans, shorts etc, and strut your way to the world, Less is more I guess, The book was visual with many images to guide the reader, I appreciate the mix and match and addon tips that go with each piece of apparel e, g. undergarments for white tshirts. I would appreciate if it some outfits were more practical and approachable to the middle class, Incredibly useful. Learned a lot.
