not much change in my review from the previous volume if like me you're not interested in Japanese history then you won't get everything there is to get from this manga series but there's still enough interesting info about the history of food just to think that soy sauce hasn't been around forever in Japanese cuisine and the emotional power of a well cooked meal that I think most people will find something to relate to.
