a lucky thing to find journals that record the lives of ancestors and especially reference their ancestors, I enjoyed reading the stories, however, reading the book was a huge struggle as the formatting of each page was wrong.
The publisher made mistakes literally on every page attempting to indent portions that were quoting from journals and then back to conversations that were not indented.
I had to constantly go back to portions read to figure out what were portions of the book and what was being quoted from journals.
Probably the most frustrating book I've ever read, If it was not the book we were reading for our 'book club group' I never would have finished the book.
