on A Land of Fire (The Sorcerer's Ring, #12)

the next in the series, looking forward to the outcome, Over half way in the series, I'm heading to, but I think I won't be reading much more of this, It was fun in the beginning, but now the author is really stretching it, Plus it looks like the story is moving into a whole new set of main characters, Loved it I have the bundle,,,, but wanted to say that despite the errors, it's an imaginative and engaging read, It is too short for the money, but an obvious marketing ploy,

takes the story into new horizons and I wonder where the series will end, Please tell us what happened to the leopard,

Plenty of errors but still enjoyable just needs an editor, In A LAND OF FIRE BOOKIN THE SORCERER S RING, Gwendolyn and her people find themselves surrounded on the Upper Isles, besieged by Romulus dragons and his million man army.
All seems lost when salvation comes from an unlikely source,

Gwendolyn is determined to find her baby, lost at sea, and to lead her nationinexile to a new home, She travels across foreign and exotic seas, encountering unthinkable dangers, rebellion and starvation, as they sail for dream of a safe harbor,

Will Gwen and her people survive Will Guwayne be found Will Romulus crush the Ring Will Erec live Will Thorgrin return in time On par with its predecessors.

spoilers from prior books

In the twelfth Sorcerer's Ring story, which akin to most of its brethren opens with a quote from a Shakespeare play, Gwen faces Romulus' forces while seeking her child Guwayne, whom she put out at sea for his own protection.
Thor is still in the Land of the Druids in want of meeting the mother he never knew, and too seeks to find his lost offspring, Alistair is still blamed for Erec's murder in the Southern Isles, in the meantime, and civil war is imminent, A new subplot involves a teenage warrior named Darius who wishes to rise up against the eighteenyearold Volusia, This entry is largely on par with its predecessors, which is a good thing, although the new characters and plot may seem to some to have come from nowhere.
I'm still loving where this story is going, We finally got a couple new characters that could take this series in some new directions, I can't wait for Book, This one wasn't my favorite for many reasons including some of the decisions that were made and then the ending, Really the offspring of Mycoples and Ratibor wants to destroy the world! sigh Also Guwayne is put in a boat in the ocean Carried to the top of a volcano People turning to stone on the boats! Its like aboutother books/stories that we have seen before in this one.
I will take a break for a bit before continuing on, Book

Just as enjoyable reading as the first eleven books, looking forward to the next installment,
This has been a most pleasurable experience,

Awesome

I am so in love with this series, I can't wait to see what is in store for Thor, Gwendolyn, Guwayne, Aristotle, Loti, Darios and all the rest, So captivating Great series. Needs better proofreading. Ok

Repetitive and predictable still, . . I am very glad i got all of these books free, I think my stubborn streak is the only reason i have gotten this far, I keep going on about the amount of characters featured in this book and once again three more are added! So this means that Thor gets even less screen time The other characters: Thors son who doesnt actually talk,

another bad guy and now it seems another good guy who will probably have an entirely dedicated storyline.
We are already rooting for Thor, I dont like the fact that someone else is going to get involved in that way,

The book: Not one of the best in the series for me, A lot more introspect for the characters and dreams/visions, Not that great battle scenes of magic usage, But I see the next book is already out so I will get on with it, Adoro The writing is still bad, The editing is still terrible, At least in this one, characters have stopped being completely stupid, Unlike other reviewers, the new characters don't do anything for me, It feels forced. Rice realizes that there aren't a lot of characters left alive, so if new characters don't show up, the series will be over, I have put up with this series since it first started going down the drain, but now that I am caught up, I will put it aside, probably for good.
When bookcomes out, I doubt I will rush out to get it, what with all the good books out there to read, At least this book wasn't as predictable as the others, . . oh wait, yes it was, I will give it this much, . . I didn't immediately think of other books that were being ripped off in this one, so it has that going for it, It has takenbooks to get throughof Thor's quests, You are seriously going to drag this sucker out formore! And the stories are getting worse and worse, Though the actual writing has improved Since there weren't enough characters, it is imperative that you add more, And why on earth would you not take the dragon egg with you in the first place Of course I will continue reading, but please, oh please DO NOT pay money to buy these books! LOL, well dang, it ended in a cliffhanger, with the birth of a baby dragon.

Various changes for the peoples of the Ring, Each character's storyline is on the precipice of change or death, Can't wait to see what happens in the next book, Fantastic world building. The last few chapters in the book leaves each main character in a cliffhanger situation, The next book will bring the reader uptodate on these life altering dramas,

The only problem I have with the author is that Thor has the use of magic but he rarely uses this and I don't understand why when his uncle taught him not to always rely on just his skills as a warrior alone.
So at the end when his son is kidnapped by strange tribesmen bent on using his son as a human sacrifice why he didn't use his magic to get to his son or lift his son to him while running up the side of the volcano

Didn't make any sense to me.
Why give a character an ability then never allow them to use it
Cada livro a história nos surpreende com personagens novos e novas tramas acontecem uma série sensacional A special ebook purchase, I discovered this on Amazon, in my search for fantasy, dragon, and scifi reads.
I did not realize that this was part of a large series, at the time of purchase, I added this to my GoodReads, as "reading", when I saw that it was book! How I missed this, I will never know, That aside I was reading as a standalone book and was confused as to how it was jumping around to all these different characters, and settings, when I reached the end and said, "What" So, I just read quickly, again, and took notes! This is a great, wellwritten mythologicallyinfused, royalty abounding, numerous romantic connections, fantasy novel! I loved the characters, the dragon connection, but I need to know more about them, now.
The blending of all the elements is smoothly done and makes for a fascinating and fastmoving story, I have to find the otherbooks in the series and start anew!

Seria się przedłuża, autorka jedne wątki kończy, a drugie dopiero zaczyna w momencie, w którym historia powinna powoli dobiegać końca, Not a stand alone book, part of a series and should be read in sequential order, . . worth the read! I just could not put it down, Some days i read forhours straight, What a great fantasy ride, So much is happening in these books but the author writes it so it is easy to follow, like several little stories happening in one book, The characters I found to visualize, like and or dislike quickly, Descriptions were intense and in depth enough to make me feel as I were there in the story as a character myself,

If you like action, romance, fantasy, magic, castles, knights, battles of good and evil and valor then you will love this series, There is gruesome killing but the author does not go into a deep description and make it gory, There is great love and romance but nothing even pg rated, Lots of fantasy but not to extravagant, It amazes me how creative this author is and I constantly wondered "what in the world will happen next",

To me a perfect story, a perfect read, and i think it would make a great movie! Reminded me a bit of the "Lord of the Rings.
I would highly recommend this series and this author to anyone that even considers these mixed genres, More of the same inaccurate editing, misspelling etc, It gets a bit boring actually, This title even has the ubiquitous honour of seemingly being able to transfer genders, Oh, well, dopey me for continuing I suppose,

I am also getting a bit sick of ", . we shall succeed in our quest or die trying, .
