Procure Historic Hotels Of New Orleans Rendered By Paul Oswell Displayed In Manuscript

history Explore the history of the most notable and celebrated hotels in New Orleans, This little book is a delight! Travel writer Paul Oswell gives us not only the history of the New Orleans hotels he discusses, but also of the site where they are located.
For example, in thes, the site of the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon was a bakery/coffee house/winery.

Each chapter includes an entertaining look at the hotel, as well as beautiful blackandwhite photos of interiors and exteriors.

It's clear that Oswell enjoys his subject matter, and his authorial voice is personable, It's as though a good friend is telling you about this great place where they stayed,

Recommended for travelers and armchair travelers alike, It's a cool little book and seems well researched, Unfortunately I was bored to tears for large chunks and Oswell's sense of humor just isn't for me, Not sure what I expected when I downloaded this as far as the boredom goes, not the humor since it's a book about hotels ffs.
It's not exactly a passion of mine,

Extra little cool things included:
