Seize 無職転生 ~異世界行ったら本気だす~ 2 (Mushoku Tensei, #2) Generated By Rifujin Na Magonote Format Kindle

volumes in, I have a much better idea of what to say about this series, It is what happens when you run a traditional Epic Portal Fantasy through the Japanese Light Novel system, It has more thoughtful world building than the “Reborn in a video game fantasy world” or the “trapped in an MMO” flavors of isekai,

The end for volumewas actually shocking, too, The illustrations are very clean and modern, and the character designs all have fairly clear, distinct features, The story this time is an interesting flip from volume, with the student becoming a teacher,

For cons, the biggest thing is all of the weird horny aspects that kind of come with the LN/Harem Anime tropes, That said, the sexualization is a very present aspect of both books so far, and isnt something that can be skipped, If you can get past that, then there isnt much offputting

The story progression is good in this volume, Fastpaced and entertaining.
Once again the character development of Rudeus the protagonist is glacial, We get new characters, good ones mind you, only to see how Rudeus gets to be in the teacher role instead, Paul concludes that Rudeus Paul's son isn't improving as a sword fighter and is stagnant as a magic wielder after Roxy's departure, So Paul sends his son to his family's palace to teach his niece Eris magic,
Ghislaine a grown woman who needed reading and writing skills and Eris a girlyears elder to Rudeus who needs magic skills are his pupils, Ghislaine teaches Rudeus and Eris sword skills, Some familial politics of the Greyrats are explored by Rudeus and A cataclysmic event occurs at the end of the book, we learn through Roxy's eyes that people who got caught in the Cataclysm that occurred in Rudeus' city got teleported to other regions of the world and are now missing.
Roxy is now determined to find Rudeus,
Very intriguing plot progression and execution, The protagonist's perversion is still an issue I'd like to see get solved asap, but the plot demands it be there, Ughhh.
Anyway, I look forward to next in the series and hopefully an improvement in Rudeus' character progression, I say that because the side characters are incredibly fleshed out and realized, My thoughts after reading the Mushoku Tenseiaudiobook Japanese Written by Rifujin na Magonote Narrated by Ayumi Ito

The story:

Rudeus gets to be a teacher.

Enjoyment:

Surprisingly, if we ignore certain scenes that made me go "hol up" I quite enjoyed it more than volume, it read as a nice isekai slice of life, and ngl i loved it.

Japanese:

Well, this is an audiobook completely in Japanese, how difficult was it to understand To be honest, not that difficult, I had previously watched the anime so probably that helped me understand it, But to my surprise, I feel like I understood aroundof it,

Thoughts:

As always the narrator Ayumi Ito surprised me, she did such an amazing job as a narrator, as always her voice is so nice to listen to, and the way she gives each character a different voice is so incredible.

The verdict:

The story is good, Way better than volumeand I definitely enjoyed it way more, In the end, I would rate the book a/and the narration a,/, I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series in audiobook form While people can still discount this series due to its nature of being a light novel.
And the subsequent generic prose,
Theres a reason this series gets such high praise,
Because
Seize 無職転生 ~異世界行ったら本気だす~ 2 (Mushoku Tensei, #2) Generated By Rifujin Na Magonote Format Kindle
occasionally you get a glimpse, a glimmer, of the world and thought put behind it,
Indeed it feels overall very generic and childish but there are sprinkles of themes, concepts and lore that could easily place it in the realms of good high fantasy fiction.

By the end of the novel Ghislaine reminded me of Irene from the Bpoks of Babel series
And thats not a bad thing at all

As of writing this review, theth episode of the anime has yet to air.
Good lord
Also Im beginning to understand that the religion of Roxism may not just be a meme lol/

Jo a Eris je asi nejhorší cundere, co jsem v životě viděl, Proč tenhle koncept pořád v japonské literatuře existuje, mi nějak nejde do hlavy, No což, svoji práci zábavné oddychové literatury to plní, takže hodlám pokračovat dál zatím World building ramping up

I noticed a considerable increase of the lore of the world that the story takes place in compared to the first book.
You won't find a lot of information that this book provides in the anime or manga, Fun read! I like the story, but not the MC, Pagen Turner

Can't stop reading once I started, Picks up where Volumeleft off and continues the life of a sorry excuse making the most of having and life to live,

It hits at something nearly everyone has thought, "how would I do things if I started a new life knowing what I do now, " Covering the protagonist's nextyears, we are introduced to Rudeus' distant cousin Eris, who is quite the tomboy, The new heroine is the epitome of the spoiled noble brat, with a major temper and the volume slowly tells of how Rudeus tutors her and manages to endear himself to her.

It also marks the end of the prologue, as a major turning point happens towards the end of the volume, setting Rudeus on a major adventure of his lifetime.
For new readers, Mushoku Tensei must seem to be heading towards a pretty standard isekaiharem story but this volume is where things start to really get good,

A lot of major background info is also presented in this volume, skillfully in the guise of Rudeus' endeavours to teach Eris, and the author's skill in worldbuilding quite decent albeit rather utilitarian.
It does lack certain fantasy flourishes and dumps quite a number of keywords, some even overlap!, but doesn't distract too much from the main events in the novel,

The story tends to still feel rather slow in this volume, but the pace should pick up from her, after that major cliffhanger at the end,.Im liking this series and while not as good as volume one I will keep reading, The book starts where the last one ended, It flows through the years and we see development in very smooth time skips,

Holy crap! I was not expecting the ending, That totally came out of left field,

I cant wait for the next book to see what happens, Me encanto como cambia la historia y deja atrás a una amiga de la infancia solo para ayudarle a entrar a la universidad y consigue un empleo se tutor personal de un mocosa que al principio me caía mal y que se terminó enamorando de el, aún que yo apoyo a Sylph para tener a Ludeous Aaand.
. . Eris is Here!!! Wew, I miss her already, . . Reading few chapters of the manga recently and it just rekindle my memory of it, As a character, Eris is the nocharacter that get the most development throughout the whole series, and damn she's cute here, . . Even when she tried to be domineering, just make me smile the whole way : Solid sequel, follow Rudy from agetoas a tutor for a young spoiled girl from a noble family.
It is mostly a good read with relatable flawed characters some of which are even likeable, The worldbuilding is decent, if a bit simplistic,

The characters develop, but it does feel a bit jarring at times, For example, at the end of bookRudy agrees he needed to get away from Sylphy because he did not want a obedient submissive friend which he seems to have promptly forgotten in the first chapter of this book when angrily thinking he was training Sylphy to be his obedient woman.
Rudy himself is well aware that he has issues when it comes to women and his treatment of them, although I feel the women are a bit too forgiving, The story also comes with a bit of over the top behaviour that feels out of place that is common in light novels,

Still, an enjoyable read, Up to the next part were the real story begins,
