But anyway: FINALLY, This is what i've been waiting for, I don't know if it's me who changed or this book is reallytimes better than the previous ones, but I suspect it's a little of both, Wu Xie stopped yelling and cursing for no reason whenever he does now, he does it with good reason lol, in this book, every time he got angry or frustrated, it was definitely understandable, with all the mysteries and unanswered questions piling up.
So that alone added a star to my rating already, because I really didn't like his personality in the previous books,
I found the writing and the story itself to be better too i'm not sure what exactly I liked more about it, but this book kept me interested from the first page to the last which wasn't the case with the previous ones.

Wow such an interesting mystery to start the book with, Im quite curious how this is going to end, On to the next book! Patrolling adventure book that will give you legitimate chills, the author gets better with very novel, So, I came to read this saga after watched drama sitelinkUltimate Note and I awed how faithful its plot to the book, No wonder it's won praises from the book fans,
Uncle Three woke up from his coma and told Wu Xie what happened in the undersea tomb and Changbai Mount, Even so, Wu Xie didn't get the answer for his questions,
Moreover, he got package with two videotapes inside, The package sender was Zhang Qilin! How's that possible, didn't he entering the bronze door!
Long story short, the clues in the videotape lead him into Gobi dessert and joining Ning's team, following Chen Wenjin route twenty years ago.
And surprise, Zhang Qilin was came back from the bronze door and joining the team as well!

Although there are some differences, this book amp the next one have been adapted most accurately into their drama counterpart Ultimate Note, Very fast paced and enjoyable, In spite of it being so similar to the drama which I watchedst, it was still very engaging,
The iron triangle is finally starting to come together, although certainly not to the same extent as they appear in the drama, PingXie fans will be able to see a particular iconic moment and a few other crumbs but to be honest, the drama is very generous in creating more moments for them than the original source provides.
