Obtain The River Horse (The Magic Potions Shop #2) Articulated By Abie Longstaff Displayed In Version
like this as much as the last one, my five year old loved it though, The River Horse is the second book in The Magic Potions Shop series, Tibben, the potions apprentice, is hoping to be a potions master just like his grandfather, But first, he must earnspecial Glints badges on his cloak by completing potions, When Tibben treatsdifferent creatures with sickness from drinking from the river, he goes to investigate the issue, The river has turned brown and Tibben can't clean it! Will he be able to discover what is making the river turn brown And will he be able to earn another Glint to become a potions master
This is a wellwritten magical book for younger readers.
The story is exciting and engaging, with a fast pace and charismatic animal sidekick, The premise of the potions shop and Tibben trying to become a master potions making like his grandfather is interesting and children will love reading about Tibben's journey and all the potions he is learning.
The illustrations in this book are fantastic very cartoonlike, which will appeal to many readers, Overall, this book does a good job of appealing to boys and girls alike, given that the MC is male and the story doesn't delve too far into what I call "Rainbow Magic territory".
The chapters in this book are not particularly short and there are some challenging words that make this book slightly too difficult for very young readers.
I would recommend that this is a book to be read with or by a parent for less confident readers or those who are on the young end of younger readers.
Ideal for: young readers agedrecommended read with/by an adult orread alone with some support, depending on ability.
These are perfectly pitched magical and well written not mass market toot as the package might suggest Bookin thepart Magic Potions Shop series from the creators of the bestselling Fairytale Hairdresser, Abie Longstaff amp Lauren Beard.
