Win The Illusions Of Eventide (House Of Crimson And Clover #1) Authored By Sarah M. Cradit Disseminated As Paper Copy
review.
I love Nic, he is by far my favorite character in this series, and this book, with him as the main character didnt change my mind, if even I have fallen in love with him more.
When you read the other books his character always stuck out, I love his personality. The sarcastic, I dont give a crap about anything but women and travelling, If you have read the series you already know there is more to him then it seems, He does care, he does love, and he does feel pain, deeply, A lot of people might see him as the playboy who never intends to settle down, Part of that is truth, I dont think he intended to settle down, for a while at least, This book changed all of that,
In this book it starts off somewhat depressing, Nic is still reeling from the betrayal from “The Storm and the Darkness”, He leaves to go to his family home fully intending to end his life gasp! That in itself has the reader hooked, even if he wasnt your favorite you have grown to at least be used to his character, know he is an important part of the series.
He is expecting to be alone ignoring the worry from the two who hurt him he settles into the family home when he sees someone on his land.
He isnt happy at all, But when he realizes something is wrong with the woman, the hidden “hero” in him lurches forward urging him to help this woman,
Meeting Mercy changes Nics life in more than one way, Latent powers begin to appear and it seems he isnt beguine as he had grown to know, and people from both of their lives come to help them.
I am not sure what to say about Mercy, Her character is well thought out and brought to life, Sometimes throughout I like her and feel sorry for her, other times I think she needed to be humbled which does happen, Even though I always wished Nic could be mine haha, Mercy is good for him just as he is good for her,
The other characters that are revealed in the story, the new and the old, bring it together and move the series forward into a direction I didnt think about.
Totally surprising and necessary.
I recommend this book as I have the others this series is one you wont want
to miss out on, Sarah is an amazing writing and knows how to suck her readers into the story,
Every book I read by Sarah is amazing, . . until I read her next, This one so much Nicolas I love that boy. And Finn and Ana. And now Mercy! I consumed this book as quickly as I could stupid adult responsibilities and such kept me away and I cannot wait for the next installment! LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!! Could not put it down!!
After reading the first book I was caught in the stories and lives told by Sarah M Cradit.
The second book carried the story amazingly on as I could not put it down,
BUT THE THIRD BOOK!!!!!
I found myself giving up Candy Crush and Bejeweled to READ AND FINISH!!!
It swept me away and the need to know what would happen next kept me picking it up every chance I could!
The characters intrigued me as I read hoping to take in more about them! Sarah did a fabulous job of painting the pictures of places, characters, events, and visions! I felt the pain, passion, love, hate, and anguish of each character!
Now that I have read it, I am anxiously waiting for the next book and any other novelettes that Sarah M Cradit writes!
Definitely put this book and the whole series on your "TO READ" list! After leaving Maine and Ana, Nicolas has sunk deeply into a depression.
So much so that he takes the decision to travel to the fames holiday island and end it all, He can see no way forward and has no will to carry on, The betrayal he feels is all encompassing and he cant see a way past it,
Believing himself to be alone on the island hes incredulous and dismayed when he sees a mysterious woman sitting on the beach, Even in the midst of his own despair Nicolas feels obliged to help and with this decision lives are changed forever, Nicolas and Ana learn of their true heritage, finding the reality of it all almost impossible to grasp,
Thoughts
This series just gets better! The inclusion of Mercy, Aidrik and the whole idea of the complex Empyrean race takes this chapter in the lives of the Deschanels to a whole new level and dimension.
The fantasy/paranormal aspect deepens significantly and adds a very interesting twist,
I like the intriguing and expanding development of the characters, especially Nicolas, Hes not such a shallow, all for himself person as Mercy works her magic and the story unfolds,
Nothing is as it seems and although each member of the Deschanel family have their own special abilities, they are not always aware of their own power and what it means.
A lot is explained when Aidrik appears at Ophélie and valuable lessons are learned,
Fascinating and wonderful storytelling, very well written, Also, as an aside, all the book covers are beautifully designed and very evocative,
In an effort to not sound redundant, I will just say that this book was amazing!! The words amazing, awesome, exciting, fun and surprising are all words that I would use to describe the series of books that author Sarah M.
Cradit has written! I loved the latest in the series almost as much as all of the others, but the first book that you read will always stick with you the most!! The characters that she has created jump off of the page and become a part of you, the scenes that she describes makes you feel like you are there and the drama, suspense, and mystery keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the book.
I have fallen in love with Finn, Nicholas and Oz and if you could combine a few things from each one he would be the perfect man!!! I love Ana, Adrienne and Mercy because they all have characteristics of someone that I aspire to be.
I can't wait until the next book in this series is released because right now I feel like I have lost my really good friends and I have to know what happens to them next!! Add this series to your next series to be read and remember that the first book in the series if free on Amazon!! Go oneclick it so that you can experience all of this and more!!!
I have included the link below for the first book in the series so that you can get started!! Enjoy!!!

Let me preface this by saying I don't usually start reading a book within an on going series, unless it's book one.
So when I started with book, I wasn't sure where I would even end up, That definitely isn't the case with The Illusions of Eventide: The House of Crimson and Clover Book,
This book has such an intriguing story line, You can pick up reading it as a stand alone and feel completely comfortable in what is going on, which I absolutely loved, Sarah M. Cradit has sneaked enough of a back story for each character that wont spoil any of the books for this read but yet gives you something to go on so your readers journey will be well equipped.
Nic and Mercy are just fascinating characters, The twists and turns are jaw dropping and the scifi element was completely unexpected and provocative, I loved to hate Nic, in all his vainglorious nature and Mercy in her self deceiving heart, I was being taken for a stunning ride for sure,
Without hesitation, I can honestly say I highly recommend this book! I can't wait to see what the future holds for the Deschanel clan, I can't say that I loved this book, in fact I thought it was very long and a bit confusing, That said some people might find all the mysteries exciting but for me it maybe it difficult to really enjoy this book, Still I finished reading it and it was actually getting interesting in the end so I had to finish the story and therefore I give it two.
