Mar,
I especially liked the ending! A sweet tale of a good guy falling for a woman.
But this particular women is a good church going woman by day and a modern day Robin Hood by night, Once he figures it out, what's a man to do Find out in this exciting book, Fun premise
Here we have a fun premise for how to tame the Wild West, A young woman who plays a sort of Robyn Hood to her community, She has all the skills, Well done. I'm sorry this book wasn't really resonating with me so I didn't finish it, I'm sure it will be fine for other people, Love this book! Jacinda is a strong character that you can't help but love, and Hoyt is right there with her, Together they are a terrific couple, and their story kept me holding my breathe waiting for them to come together, Looking forward to the next story for Bryn that is previewed at the end of this book, I got this one when it was a freebie on Amazon and so I didn't really have any expectations going into it, . . And I ended up really enjoying it! It was interesting how Jackie and her best friend Darcy fooled so many people as the Robin Hoodtype outlaws known as The Blade and The Whip.
They only ever have one target: the greedy and thieving Lester Ogden,
But when Darcy's new stepbrother, Hoyt Travers, comes to town everything starts to change for Jackie, Hoyt is a Texas Ranger and he's far too observant and is starting to figure out who The Blade and The Whip are, Even worse than that, Jackie is falling in love with Hoyt but she knows how impossible it would be for an outlaw and a Texas Ranger to have a future together.
Content: Clean
Source: Amazon freebie It was okay, The storyline was definitely different, but there were things that were skimmed over too much, She's Robin Hood of the Prairie, He's a Texas Ranger. Is this duo too much for Dodge City
Having lost her parents, and in danger of losing her ranch to an unscrupulous opportunist, Jackie Jacinda Laughton is surviving in Dodge City's heyday, but not without a load of guilt and estrangement from God and the church.

No one suspects they are young women,
When Hoyt Travers, a Texas Ranger, arrives in Dodge and shows an interest in her, Jackie finds herself drawn to him, but wary of the danger he represents.
He learns the truth and offers to marry her to protect her, but can she accept such a sacrifice and hide her love that might never be returned She must learn to accept God's forgiveness and trust God for her needs.
