Peruse Blood Of The Neko (Neko #2) Depicted By Taylor Ryan In Physical Edition

on Blood of the Neko (Neko #2)

didnt enjoy this as much as the first one because this had one of my major pet peeves miscommunication that causes lots of drama.

Damien and his

neko, Kayden, are still very happy together, Its been a year since the ordeal from the previous book and Kayden is coming more out of his shell every day, Hes even making friends now, But that causes Damien to think Kayden is cheating on him with Finn, the stable hand,

Of course Damien does not confront Kayden with this but starts acting angry and dismissive to Kayden, Kayden is at a loss as to what is happening and doesnt know how to fix it,

When the situation at the mines can no longer be ignored humans and hybrids being captured and sold to the mines against their will, Damien and Kayden set out to take over the mines.
Damien didnt want Kayden to come since it will be a dangerous situation, but Kayden comes anyway,

When Damiens jealousy gets the better of him he ends up scaring Kayden away, And just at that moment Kayden gets captured by hunters, .

I didnt like the plot with the jealousy, Damien was acting like a total ass and Kayden got hurt in the process, I did like the mine storyline, but unfortunately I had a hard time enjoying that because of the previous miscommunication,

Im glad I still have the first book to reread whenever I want, but Im going to ignore there was ever a second book.

Oh, and Kayden was suddenlywhen he was captured by the hunters in this book and apparantlywhen he was bought for Damien, while he waswhen he was captured in the first book andwhen he got to Damien.
Big inconsistency. An excellent followup to sitelinkTears of the Neko, I do recommend reading sitelinkA Dash of Neko as well before reading this one "Dash" is a quick read and there are references to things that happened in that book not storycritical they're just cute dayinthelife things, but I was glad to understand the references when they came up.

Gawd, I wanted to punch Damien for about half the book, but then he does a nice job of beating himself up, so that's good cuz he totally deserves it.
At the same time, the way he acts is an understandable result of in the first book.

Kayden is his lovable, innocent, stillalittleskittish self, but he's grown a lot and continues to grow in this story, There was plenty of angsty hurt/comfort to be had which I wanted, but I also loved that .

If you enjoyed the first book, you'll enjoy this one, So cute again! I didnt enjoy this one as much as I did the first, It seems to be missing something, No epilogue either maybe there will be another book eventually, . .

In the first book it was said that Kayden was taken by hunters at age, That would have made himyears old, In this second book it happened when he wasso he wasalmost, Twas very very annoying for me since it was brought up more than once, Consistently is important! A sequel to sitelinkTears of the Neko,

This book is much darker than Tears of the Neko,
Firstly, because the bad people from Kayden's past reappear to destroy his happiness,

Secondly, because Damien lets jealousy into his heart!

Thirdly, because there are some major political issues nagging Damien's conscience.
. . :

Luckily, with the help of Damien's closest friends his brother Harrison and best friend, Oliver everything is solved and new alliances forged

Wonderful story

Another wonderful story by a new to me author.
Wellwritten and emotional with a mix of romance, drama, action and humor, This is the continuing story of Damian and his Neko,
Still loved it. Great character development . although maybe his skills are a bit much,
Nevertheless, still loved it

this was a great second book, . . loved the developments In the sequel to Tears of the Neko, Damien, the duke of Marsten must journey to the mines to deal with a problematic overseer.
When his feline lover, Kayden, comes face to face with nightmares from his past, will he be strong enough to survive them, or will he fall prey to his fears and the hunters' resolve to draw the Blood of the Neko

This is the sequel to Tears of the Neko bookof the Neko series.
It is best to have read that first story before reading this one, There is also a set of short stories called A Dash of Neko that precede this story as well they happen in between the two stories.
The Neko shorts are lighthearted vignettes into Kayden and Damien's lives, some of which are hinted at in the sequel, It is NOT necessary to have read them to enjoy The Blood of the Neko, however, They are simply fun, short stories involving the characters from the Neko Series,
Warnings: This book contains violence and sexual relationships between men, Please do not read if any of this bothers you,
