wow!
This book certainly is an edge of your seat thriller an amazing mix of chilling horror and spine tingling scifi.
In this amazing novel we travel with Dan through his past as he battles against time to stop a demonic menace from continuing on a path of destruction, and at the same time he tries to find his dead girlfriend for one last reunion.
Unfortunately not all his plans work out quite as he intended and we are catapulted through space and time on a fast paced and gripping ride.
The resulting end is a fantastic climax which leaves you exhausted but satisfied, This is definitely a must for fans of Stephen King, Taylor Adams is very gifted writer who is expert at drawing readers in and totally absorbing them to the very end.

From Amazon bestselling author Taylor Adams, "Our Last Night" is a roller coaster of a ghost story with a bruised, beating heart.
Great for people who love Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Peter Straub or David Wong but really a book like nothing youve ever read!
Taylor Adams is the author of theAmazon bestseller EYESHOT In the middle of the desert a couple are pinned down by a ruthless sniper.
. . What a page turner. Loved it. A mixture of horror, ghost story and thriller, And also a love story, I absolutely loved the concept: a gun that leads it's owners to kill themselves in less thanhours, and an unbelieving ghost hunter who seeks it out on purpose.
It a very original idea, Great visuals, great use of timethis author loves writing stories that take place over a single day or even just a few hours, and I find that really captivating and definitely amps up the pressure.
The other books I read by Adam's didn't incorporate any supernatural elements like this one, the others felt more like true crime, or horrible events you could accidentally find yourself in.
Having a supernatural element was really interesting, and I think it allowed for Adams to experiment with time more than normal.
I live in Washington and it's great having horror books centered in the PNW with familiar locations, And amidst the horror, there is a lovely moral about grief and learning to move on,
I read this books over two days because I didn't want to put it down, If you like his other books I suggest reading this one as well, If you're new to this author, I'd recommend starting with Hairpin Bridge or No Exit, I think reading those first allows you to appreciate this one more, This is his second novel and I can it's earlier in his career by the writing style, So I think his writing is just getting better with time! I've got to admit, that I did not expect much from this book even though I'm a big
fan of the author's other publications, as I am no fan of horror or anything supernatural in books at all.
This book caught me by surprise by adressing grief and the grieving process pretty much like I am experiencing it right now not going to get me a damn cursed rifle, though and I started to like it pretty much from the start.
The storyline is edgeofyourseat, don'tputitdown and maybe read while it's not pitchblack outsideish so pretty much what I expected of a Taylor Adams book after reading the other two first.
I'm still a bit surprised about the turnout at the end but that is one reason why I so liked this book and the style of Taylor Adams in general.
Humorous, dark and full of surprises, Dan doesnt really believe in ghosts, god, or the paranormal, even though hes the host of a popular ghosthunting show.
But when his fiancée passes away suddenly in an accident, he desperately wants to believe in something.
He seeks out a notoriously haunted Russian firearm, which is apparently cursed and has caused every previous owner kill themselves.
Once he has the gun, the being that haunts it digs deep into Dans brain, chasing him through his memories.
This book started out great, completely pulling the rug out from underneath the reader, But after the initial shock, I could easily accept the strange rules in the world and all the tension evaporated.
There are some cool connections between Dans memories and cases hes investigated for his show, and the gasman is delightfully creepy and threatening.
I was kind of disappointed by the ending, But the wild ride through Dans subconscious is exciting and makes this book a worthy read,
If you like ghost stories or paranormal thrillers, then youll enjoy reading Our Last Night,
This review also appears on my website: sitelinkBethMartinBooks, com This wasn't what I expected but I still enjoyed, It had that fast paced, edge of your seat thrills that you should expect from a Taylor Adams book but this one had a really interesting paranormal twist.
Not my favorite by this author but still very good, I was right! I loved ”No Exit”, so read ”Eyeshot” and they were so fastpaced and actionpacked that I had a feeling ”Our Last Night” would be a winner! It was.
Where the other two books by Taylor Adams took place in cut off, limited areas with no escape, this one is moving rapidly from place to place.
And very different. As before I cared about the characters and burned through the pages, I wont say more. Read all three! Our last night by Taylor Adams is a mystery and thriller and scifi and fantasy read.
