Pick Up The Gingerbread Man Loose At The Zoo Authored By Laura Murray Available As Online Book
before a class trip to the zoo I liked the clues and learning about animals This book is pure genius.
If I could write, I'd like to write a book like this, The gingerbread man and his class go to the zoo, When he gets separated from his class, he uses the clues in the riddles to find his way back to them.
A cure rhyming story. Fun and silly. This is one of a series of preschool books featuring the lovable Gingerbread Man,
The story is told in poetic verse this time the Gingerbread Man, and his preschool class, are off to the zoo.
The Gingerbread Man gets lost and must find his way back to the group, He does so with the help of clues given by his teacher,
He even is instrumental in reuniting a lost baby joey with his Mother,
It is a very sweet read and I am sure it will be a rousing success at storytime.
The only drawback for me is that I do not enjoy the illustrations, I know I am in a minority but that is why I did not give this book four.

Here, the gingerbread man explores the zoo with clues, Along the way, a few animals try to nibble on him, but, oh no, they can't get him.
. . he's the gingerbread man. Yes, I'm happy to add this book as my fortyfourth gingerbread man book in my school library, I predict this one won't stay on my shelf this year, Dating back thousands of years, most tellers use riddles to welcome listeners into their stories, These specificallyworded queries get our brains in gear, focus our concentration and inspire creativity, Riddles allow us to participate in a treasure hunt without taking a step, All we need to do is use our imaginations, expanding our thinking from the obvious to the obscure.
The sense of accomplishment in deciphering these puzzles is a rich reward too,

What can I say, the boy has great taste in books! Normally, when a book is the fourth of its kind in a sequel, you aren't sure what you'll find.
But in the case of The Gingerbread Man Loose at the Zoo, a true gem is found in what I believe is the best of the series yet! There is so much to love here.
With so many young students studying animals as part of their science curriculum and making field trips to the zoo, this text scores high for relatability and core content.
And let's face it, interest in animals begins at a very early age for most kids, The flawless rhyming text and the riddles provide prediction clues and exciting page turns that will foster higher levels of engagement.
What a challenge it can be to write an engaging story arc and also make a game out of it for children! Author Laura Murray showcases the best of her writing and Mike Lowery's incorporation of comic book panels transform the illustration into something new, actionpacked, and suspenseful.
