His arrival home again coincides with Emily's shocking discovery that she is pregnantand she's determined to share that news with Jack, with whom she'd spent a single night after their attendance at her brotherinlaw's funeral.
To say that Jack is equally shocked is an understatement, but his immediate stepup and declaration that they should get marriedthe sooner the betteris met with a
decidedly cool refusal.
Emily knows better. She won't marry for anything but love, and her pregnancy is no excuse,
What happens next as Jack sets out to change her mind makes for a fun summer read with quirky characters surrounding the two principals and sets the scene for other stories in this series.

There was quite a bit to like about this : We had an upbeat heroine, We had a hero who did the right things some of the time, maybe all of the time, even if this heroine didn't think so.
Halfway through the novel, the pace really picked up, I liked Rose, the gnome thief, and Fred!
Good job, Lee, I really enjoyed it. Miniseries:sitelink The Finnegan Sisters sitelink post a comment,
