only they could turn to each other for help, things might not be so badbut with the women at odds with one another and only Jesse in good graces with the rest of the group, that isnt likely to happen any time soon.

Their world is going to hell in a hand basket, so why not throw a party to brighten everyones mood With Ligias help, Brooke arranges a charity beauty pageant the town wont soon forget, especially when the bad guys show up and attempt to finish what they started earlier that year This is the second book in the series and unfortunately I did not read book one first.
I would highly recommend it as it would set the scene better for this one, That being said I was able to figure out what had happened in the previous book without being too lost.

Brooke Fischer's life seems to be somewhat crumbling around her as her friendship with Vi Hernandez is nonexistent and her marriage to Brian is not going well.
Someone is sending Brooke messages that lead her to believe that all is not as it seems with Brian and Brooke must figure out what she is going to do.

Annabeth is being harassed by a man she knows as Fin but as he has not crossed any lines there is nothing she can do but be taunted by him.
As the bodies pile up Annabeth must decide what she needs to do with her case,

Vi must decide if she can forgive Brooke and allow herself to move on with her life to the best of her ability and of she is willing to open herself up.

With so much happening in town who is safe

I liked the story but I really wish I had read the first book.
I liked the characters but at the same time I felt like I didn't know enough about them and their pasts.
I think knowing more from book one definitely would have helped,

I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book and will definitely be going back and reading book one! First off, I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

HONESTLY I was disappointed in how this story ended, LOL Melissa Storm and K, M. Hodge did it again . they wrote another great story together and I can't wait to read the next story in this series,
This story picks up where the last story left off Walker Texas Wife, You could read this one without reading the prior but, I wouldn't recommend it because you might be confused in the first couple chapters.
The story continues on with Vi, Brooke, Annabeth and Jesse being the center of focus, They all have their own secrets and issues that they are dealing with,
Vi feels all alone as well as dealing with physical pain after being shot by her best friend, Brooke.
She still can't believe that Brooke shot her, The pain from being shot is more physical and VI is having a hard time dealing with the pain she will have the rest of her life.
Well she ever be able to forgive Brooke
Brooke has not only lost her best friend, she is dealing with martial issues.
Her god daughter, Ligia, has moved in with her and Brian, Ligia basically does her own thing and is rarely home, She comes and goes as she pleases , she doesn't even show up for the business that Brooke started for her.
With Vi not talking to her, Brian gone and Ligia doing her own thing, the only friend she has is Princess Ti.
But will Princess Ti be there for her What will happen to turn Brooke's life upside down
Annabeth is still on a mission to bring the sex ring down.
She is kind of on her own as Marcus is recovering from the accident he sustained in the last story.
Will she be able to bring an end to the sex ring that brought her and Marcus to Herald Springs
Jesse appears to be the one that holds the group together.
He is there for each of them and tries to keep things "calm", Will he be able to bring peace to the group
Most of these questions will be answered as you read Texas and Tiaras".
But, as in the last story, theseauthors will leave you wanting more, I know they did me and I can't wait to read the next book in this series,
Should you read this story Heck yes!!! You won't be sorry, . well, until there is no more to read, Brookes got a stalker, Jesses got a hacker, Annabeths got a criminal mastermind bent on her destruction, and even Vi is being taken for a ride by someone she thought was her friend.
If only they could turn to each other for help, things might not be so badbut with the women at odds with one another and only Jesse in good graces with the rest of the group, that isnt likely to happen any time soon.

Vi is angry with Brooke for shooting her, accidently of course, and she will not let Brooke help or speak with her.
Vi is having difficulties managing the pain and problems with work, Brooke is also having continuing problems with her husband and she must decide what she will do with that relationship.
Annabeth's being stalked by Fin, her investigation is hitting dead ends and Jesse's wife is pulled in to the drama.
By her own volition or not is still to be determined,

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review, A great mystery in the Book Cellar Mysteries, These stories revolve around friends Brooke and her goddaughter Ligia , Vi, Annabeth and Jesse, In this book Brooke and her best friend Vi are still estranged, Annabeth who has lost her position with FBI is working with her husband Marcus to investigate the sex ring for a private client.
Annabeth is being stalked by, Fin, who they are sure has a connection to the sex ring, Will Brooke and Vi be able to repair their relationship, and will they be able to stop Fin before he hurts Brook or someone she loves The books in this series are very interesting and well written.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, Good read. This is the second in the Book Cellar Mysteries but you can read it as a standalone, I really enjoyed the first of the series, Walker Texas Wife, and looked forward to reading this, I was slightly disappointed. It was good but it was missing something from the first book, It took me longer to get into it but when I did it was good, I would recommend reading the first to get more familiar with the characters,

The story was good about a major crime going on in the town of Herald Springs and an exFBI, Annabeth, and her husband trying to find out who the criminal is.
The other characters in the story are fighting their own battles after the annual galas big incident, The authors go back and forth between the characters so you do have to pay attention as you are reading.
And the ending was some cliffhanger!!! I certainly will be reading the next one since I am now hanging on the cliff to find out what happens!! I did receive this as an ARC for an honest review.

Well so far I am really enjoying these Book Cellar Mysteries! I love how this book basically starts where Walker Texas Wife ended.
It has a nice juicy plot and is jam packed with suspense, I am happy to get some character depth to be able to feel so many emotions for each one of them and what they are going through.
Quite a crazy time for everyone involved, I am not really a fan of cliff hangers but this works given the situation,
I look forward to the next book!
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is thend book in the Book Cellar Mysteries series and continues the story of Annabeth, Vi, amp Brooke in Herald Springs, TX.
All three ladies are overwhelmed with their personal lives, plus add on a crazed murderer who seems to be stalking them.
This story had a "dark" slant to it, but had enough suspense to keep one interested till the end.

Thanks Melissa for the copy of this book! Despite its length and this is a fullblown novel it is not really standalone.
You are going to want to read this series in order and you most likely WILL want to read it! and will have to put up with the occasional cliffhanger MOST issues specific to the book get somewhat resolved, but in that life continues and who knows what will happen next fashion rather than tied in a bow like an "I Love Lucy" episode and bite your nails get your hands out of your mouth and find a less selfdestructive way to deal with it! until the next episode comes out.

Honestly, unless she is suffering from PTSD which, on consideration, is likely the case but not yet fully exploited in the narrativehey, there is a LOT going on here! I cannot imagine Anna having passed the mental stability requirements for an FBI agent.
Certainly none of the teamwork and camraderie one might expect from a welltrained agent is in evidence, She is offthecharts rogue most of the time with absolutely no sense of personal safety, Come to that, I would have expected Vi to have some deepseated paranoia at this point and HER stress/escape seems to be wandering off with strangers.
Kinda makes you want to grab these characters by the shoulders and shake them!

Oh, no, I'm not invested in any of the people and sitting on the edge of my chair.
Unh, unh. Nope, not me .
