This book pulled me out of my reading slump.
Well, it would be more accurate to say that the first half of the book did that,
I loved the premise of the book, Sawyer is a young woman that has been sheltered by her cruel father, After her mother is dead, she finally decides to leave her home and search for freedom, She finds the end of her rainbow in Outskirts, a small town her mother seemed to love,
Her neighbor is a little less than welcoming, Finn has become a recluse and the idea of a woman living right next to his house isn't exactly thrilling, What he didn't expect was to feel something for the young girl,
Secrets, lies and romance await you in this exciting first installment,
This would have been a five star read for me if I didn't find some parts of it a little cliche.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book but the element of surprise didn't hit me when the plot did its major twist.
Other than that, I recommend this book, One of my favorite T, M. Frazier books!

Una historia muy entretenida y y y y ya, No hay más que decir,
Como ya dije es un libro que entretiene mucho, hasta el punto de ser adictivo, lo leí en una noche y me sobraron horas para dormir.
La autora repite la misma fórmula que ha estado exprimiendo en todos sus libros,
The Outskirts, es un pequeño pueblo al sur de Estados Unidos, si otra vez sureños, Mismo tipo de ambientación que en sus otros libros, bueno no igual, este pueblo es completamente deprimente y la autora no deja de recordártelo todo el tiempo.
Que si el clima es horrible, que si el lodo, que si los negocios están en quiebra, que si solo hay un restaurante en todo el pueblillo, que si la crisis.
Los personajes, no tienen nada que los haga sobresalir, son planos y aburridos,
Sawyer creció en una comunidad muy religiosa, no un culto, pero casi, sufrió de abuso por parte de su padre, así que se escapa después de que su mama se suicida.
Finn, típico patán de pueblo, roto por su pasado, Y por supuesto adinerado, hasta el punto en el que le regala una casa y una librería a la protagonista.
La historia es muy floja, todo es demasiado predecible y avanza muy lento, luego todo se acelera y los protagonistas ya se aman.
El final es un cliffhanger que vi venir desde el inicio,
En conclusión: Que paso T, M. Frazier antes eras chévere,

died years ago, the golden boy of the dilapidated town turned hermit, A new neighbor shakes up his drunken isolation and its messing with his grumpiness, He shouldnt want to be happy, he doesntt deserve to smile, he doesnt deserve a second chance, But why, does this girl make him want more,
Outskirts is more than she imagined, and everything she could ever wanted a new life, a new love and a whole lot of answers, but those answers awaken the monsters of the past and theyre not going to back down easily.
The Outskirts was a book that just took you away a story of life, love and mystery.
Sawyers story alone was one you would cheer on, a girl finding herself and a life of her own, Experiencing all that life has to offer and living it through her eyes, Sawyer and Finn as a couple tortured, sweet and sexy it was a push / pull relationship that you cant help but want more for them because together they help each other not be so alone.
The mystery behind the town and how deep the secrets run just add to the storyline drawing you in page after page.
This is the first part of the duet, one that will make you want to jump right into the next, Recommended for my friends who love their love with a side of mystery and heat,

Its like you know its coming but it still SHOCKS the hell out of you, Its amazing how she grabs my attention from page one and keeps me captivated and enthralled the whole way through, Im ADDICTED! Im THRILLED! Im SO DAMN EXCITED for whats to come, I cant even stand it! Frazier gives us two broken souls in the form of Sawyer and Finn.
I cant even begin to tell you how much I just FEEL for these two characters, For Finn, he refuses to move on from the tragedies of his past, Hes stuck. Hes broken. Hes angry. He isolates himself to stick with the pain, Sawyer wants so much more for her life, She wants freedom. She no longer wants to be stuck in the life that her mother lived, When Sawyer blasts into Finns life, he can no longer ignore everything around him, Its time to face his demons, step up, and teach the beautiful girl next door how to live,
“That gasp is mine, This mouth is mine. YOU. ARE. MINE. ”
Im so ecstatic that the author has turned this into a duet, because there is no way you could pack this much wonderful into one novel, and I just know that Frazier is just getting started.
If you are looking for a sizzling HOT and EMOTIONAL romance that will leave you gasping for air, THE OUTSKIRTS is the book for you! Be prepared.
. . book two in the duet, THE OUTLIERS, doesnt come out until the first of November, so you must have patience for this greatness! Ive read enough of T.
M. Fraziers books to know that what she has next for us will blow our minds! Im counting on that and I have no doubt that she will bring her AGAME each and every single time!

The Outskirts is the first book in TM Fraziers newest duet, and OMG after finishing it Im dying for the conclusion! I wouldnt call it a huge cliffhanger, but that twist at the end has me so anxious to find out what happens next!
Sawyer has not had the easiest life.
Growing up with an overly religious and abusive father, and a mother without a backbone shes had it hard, She finally has an opportunity to get away from that life, so she takes it, And it takes her straight into the small town known as the Outskirts in Florida, Sawyer is a little on the naive side, She doesnt have a lot of experience with anything, but shes a good person and shes ready to live her life.
Finn used to have an incredible life, but a few years ago, something happened to him that has forever changed him.
Hes different, and his life is slowly going down the drain, He feels like he has nothing to live for and then he meets Sawyer, He doesnt want to care about her, doesnt want to fall for her, but it happens,
Ive met lot of girls in my life, A. Lot. Yet there was something so different, so distinctive about Sawyer,
Sawyer is running from her past, towards freedom, Finn is living in his past without a way out, The two of them both have some baggage, but together they help each other heal,
Sawyer is one of those characters you cant help but love, Shes young, innocent, and sweet, Finn is a damaged man, but you can tell hes that way because hes hurting, I loved seeing him come to life again, Say and Finn were great, and I also loved the other characters of Outskirts, Especially Josh and Miller. I cant wait to see more of them in the next book!
The Outskirts is one of those books I didnt want to put down once I started reading.
It was a fast and easy read, and captivated me from the start! Im excited to see what happens next!
