This is a devotional book even for people that do not like devotional books, Which includes me. Each entry conveys some depth of God's love in a way I found truly encouraging, Rather than make me feel guilty about not praying or reading the Bible enough one of the reasons I don't usually like devotional books, this book spoke to me about the reality of Jesus' grace towards me.
I've been a Christian for years and heard probably a thousand sermons, but some of these entries caused me to feel giddy about the implications of Christ's death and resurrection, like I was believing again for the first time.
It has a good mix of anecdotes and teaching, and it avoids shallow encouragements one of the other reasons I don't usually like devotional books by being grounded in scripture.
I would recommend it to new and experienced believers, I loved getting the opportunity to work on this book! I'm so excited to finally be able to share it with you and I hope that you find as much encouragement in this book as I have.
