on Missing: True Cases of Mysterious Disappearances (Missing Person Case Files #1)

is a very quick read, less thanpages, It doesn't offer much in the way of actually resolving these disappearances, just a basic overview of each case, If you are looking for answers here, you will be disappointed,
Some of the author's comments lead me to believe that he doesn't buy into some of the more off the wall theories offered as explanations for some of these disappearances.
I have doubts myself about some of them, The author does list several books at the end of this one that provide more information, I've not read any of them so I cannot vouch for their credence,
If you want a lunch hour diversion, give this one a shot, but you won't find anything profound here, Overall interesting read

Honestly I am pleasantly surprised at how good this book is, It exceeded my expectations as I've never expected the writing to be straightforward and clear, compared to some true crime books that I've read on Kindle.
Ive read about many of these cases before and nothing new or earth shattering came from this book, Scary Interesting collection of stories, Some I had heard of before but learned new details I hadn't read before, I also liked the "update" at the end of each story, While being a good read, this book is just a snapshot of mysterious missing person cases, It does not cover any in depth investigation or analysis, nor does it offer any new leads, Case information could probably be found easily using an internet search, While being well written, I found it disappointing and short, They just vanished disappeared without leaving a trace, This book shed lights on some of the most intriguing missing person cases,

There are countless stories all over the globe of average, everyday people suddenly vanishing under the strangest and most inopportune of circumstances.
These cases have baffled the experts and remained unsolved for decades, The missing person cases presented in this book have diverse backgrounds, but they are all equally mysterious, Here we will dive headfirst into some of the most unusual disappearing acts on record, Rational explanations have been put forward for some, but many lack any plausible theories whatsoever,

This book relates the true yet astonishing tales of prime ministers lost at sea, esteemed physicists vanishing without a trace, great explorers lost in the wilderness.
From the World War II veteran who seemed to literally disappear into thin air on a bus ride home, to the illfated singersongwriter Connie Converse who right around herth birthday decided to pull a 'Bilbo Baggins' Connies own words on the ones she loved by slipping on her very own ring of invisibility and vanishing out of sight, this book takes us through some of the saddest, the most intriguing, and the most downright bizarre accounts of lost souls that you will ever find.
