Will Stephanie lose herself to her new lifestyle or can Andy reel her back in and keep the woman he feel in love with It was good, not great, a solid work from this author who I follow and love most of her other books.
Always good for a solo or accompanied read, Hot if you are into this type of read,
Sexy story with great sex scenes, I wasn't completely sold on how shared they were in the adventure towards the

end, hints of deception nor of Dez's intentions but it was still a great read.
I guess I'm an outlier on this book, but it didn't catch my fancy, I have read a number of Kirsten's books and enjoyed them, For me, this one missed the mark, However, Kirsten has an excellent writing style and her skill shines through, thus therating,

This is a hotwife story and, as per the book overview, Stephanie and Andy see a coworker of Stephanie's out with an older white couple.
Des, the coworker, is much younger and big, black and beautiful, The story has a very interesting premise as Stephanie queries Dez about his relationship with the couple, and Stephanie and Andy explore how that relationship could affect them.
A very cool basis for a story,

Where I had trouble with this story is the first successful seduction scene covered almostof the overall book, And while there was lots of angst for the couple, they never really explored their feelings and what it meant to them they largely dealt with these issues individually or not at all.
Equally, I felt Stephanie was way out of line on a number of health related fronts that were never adequately discussed or resolved,

I didn't feel there was enough backstory on Stephanie and Andy, They were in their early's, marriedyrs with young children, Stephanie worked in an office and Dez was a delivery guy, We heard nothing about Andy's job or what they had done through the firstyr of marriage, Yes, Stephanie was a virgin when they were married, but what about the rest From my perspective the characters were very thin and the book relied too much on the sex.

While Stephanie professed her love for her husband, she didn't seem to have control over her libido, didn't seem to have a good handle on Dez other than he wasn't marriage material and didn't enunciate what Andy's strengths were.
In the end, everyone seemed happy but, from my viewpoint, there were too many issues left unresolved,

Yes, the sex was great, but from Kirsten I expect deeper discussions and insights into the characters, their motivations, their resolution of thorny issues and their plan for moving forward.

Kirsten is an excellent and insightful author, While an interesting and sexy story, I didn't feel this one was up to her standards,

I look forward to reading her next novel, Kirsten McCurran lives in the suburbs with her husband, young children and a dog named Jake, She lives out her vivid fantasy life through her writing, Kirsten is most interested in exploring the fantasies and inner sexual lives of women like her, .
