Suzy does not want to do any Christmas things, and she is getting hard to handle, but Joe has a caring way with her, She gets up Christmas Eve morning and passes out Joe rushes her to the hospital, What helps Suzy and Joe move forward is something beautiful, I would recommend this book, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I also own it, Little Suzy Dolton is inconsolable over the sudden and tragic death of her mother right before Christmas, Having lost faith in the most magical part of the year, her father, Jim, desperately tries to bring back the magic she has lost, When an unforeseen change of events takes over their little family on the morning of Christmas Eve, Jim's faith and spirits are really put to the test.
Will the magic of Christmas be enough to bring back the joy to their family once more Or will they really depend on a Christmas miracle I stumbled upon this when I was searching for free Kindle Christmas books.
I saw it was a short read and thought it would be a great quick read to help catch up on my reading goal that I'm still short on.


While it was easy to read, I didn't enjoy it, I liked the idea of a father trying to help his grieving child find the magic of Christmas again all the while he's struggling as well, but by the end of the book I wasn't really sure what was happening.
It was pretty abrupt and didn't make much sense, The one part I did like was when the dad suggested starting new Christmas traditions, I thought that was a good idea to start the healing process,

I was shocked at the amount of bad language, including the F word a couple times toward the end, It was already clear that the dad was going through hard times so the filthy language was completely unnecessary and annoying,

Do I recommend this book No, Would I read it again No,

Sweet! An Uplifting Read

This story is an ideal READ for the most wonderful time if the year, I live the realistic feel of a father and daughter relationship during times of unavoidable conflicts that were without a glitch portrayed by the authors.
It made me sigh thinking about cherishing moment with

our loved ones ALWAYS because we can never be certain what might or what could happen next.
Mr. Dalton and Suzy touched my heart therefore I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be moved in a rather miraculous way, I really super enjoyed this story, The characters were so well developed that it seamlessly weave its tale with great detail and depth kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book.


I loved this story completely, It was the perfect festive treat that warmed my heart up, I loved the characters and the storyline was perfect, I felt every emotion possible in this book, Would happily read more from this author, Prepare your tissues

Such a sad but lovely short Christmas story,
Truth be told, losing someone you love is not something you can get over not even in a milion years,
This book, brings us, the true meaning of love and belief, and it teaches us that what matters in life are the loved ones.

After he's wife passes away, Jim and his eight year old daughter Suzy, are having a hard time getting along with their life,and no one can blame them.
Especially a little girl.
Things that once where a family tradition are being put up to test, by the little one, But, as days pass by, Suzy decides that is time to apologize to her dad for the way she behaved,
As Christmas is approaching, it seems as if history repeats itself, Only his strong faith and prayers can bring little Suzy back to him, Depressing and unrealistic. I don't know what the author was thinking but there is nothing good about this story, And the foul language wasn't even appropriate, Intriguing Christmas holiday story about a father and daughter, it is filled with hope, Incredibly strong characters. This is the first story Ive read by this author, It was an extremely quick read, We never do find out what caused Suzy to pass out and be hospitalized, and could have done without the brief instance of foul language.
Short sweet story

This short story wasn't a romance at all really, It was a little girl missing her Mother a month after she died, She hated Christmas without her Mommy and was pretty mean to her Daddy, Then there is a Christmas miracle courtesy of Santa, Very sweet story. Grief and loss at Christmas

A good read but please note that this is onlyof the page count, It's hard enough to cope with a loss of a loved one at Christmas especially when it is still raw but for a child to loose their mother it can be devastating.
Her father is trying to get her interested in eating and Christmas but she is fighting him all the way, From refusing to eat to not wanting a tree, Finally he seems to have made a break through by stating that they would make their own Christmas traditions, For some watching Halloween movies should not be carried over to Christmas but it seems to work and a break through happens, But when she gets up the next morning, complains of feeling ill and then collapses all his worst fears come to the fore, Would she be okay or would he loose her too her mother had an undiagnosed heart condition, Now she is in a coma and the doctors don't know why, When Christmas morning comes, what will it bring Great book Short, sweet Christmas story A Christmas Miracle by Bella Emy is a wonderful story to read.
This is a wonderful story to read about a father and daughter who lost wife/mother and the little girl wants nothing to do with christmas.
It is a heartful loving story to read and I recommend it to everyone,
