this book omg! She is so fuuny, realistic and most of all its all so easy to relate to, Even if you are not a single mom this is definetely a great read, Started rough. . wasnt what I was expecting, But it hurrily climbed to be the light of my day, Definetely will read more by her if she has more, I love the way she says it as it is! this book got me over my ex haha, . Hot dates here I come!! She seems to make a series of bad choices, Maybe I'd like it better if it was at least funny, I wanted to love this book, considering that it centers around the premise of my own life circumstances navigating the disparate worlds of dating and single parenting, However, much of it fell flat for me, I didn't find the storytelling or the writing compelling, and the narrative seemed to shift over an uneven timeline and series of anecdotes, While I could often find myself understanding the author's perspective, I still didn't seem to make the connection I assumed I would with her and her story, Nevertheless, there's still a worthy sense of community in a shared experience, especially one in which it can seem so solitary,

A couple of spots I marked:

"Sometimes I want nothing, Sometimes I want it all, Even I find it confusing, "

"Don't go back for more where there is only less, "

"So, this is what dating is all about: looking for red flags, obeying red flags, running like hell when I see one, asking questions, talking about myself without revealing too much.
It makes me feel alternately exhilarated and exhausted, "

"I'm beginning to tire of the promise of Match, com, followed by the reality that is never as hopeful as the words on the screen, " I was so engrossed by Rachel's book, I tried to read it at stoplights while I drove, Which I don't recommendnot only because of the whole safety thing, but because it's just too hard to find your place again, You'll get more reading done if you just pull over to the side of the road, Loved loved loved this book, I read it in abouthours, I could relate with mostly all that she was saying especially the dating part and found that I laughed and cried,

Warning. Actually, I met Rachel and her daughter, Mae, In fact, I'm dating one of her friends, who is, . . well, now was, a single mom seeking,

I needed a change of pace from the testosteroneladen books I have been reading lately, And it scares me to ever write a book so personal, . so kudos to Rachel. I would have never thought the pleasant woman I met had so many pleasant thoughts going through her head,

What can I say, I completely relate to Rachel! There were parts that had me laughing out loud, reminiscing on my own similar experiences! When she hit, single mom and romance columnist Rachel Sarah realized that she had been in domestic overdrive too long.
Years of dishing up macaroni and cheese, picking Barbie accessories up off the rug, mopping the kitchen floor, and trying to get over her ex had all but shut out the possibility of dating and hot sex again.
When her daughter turned three and stopped nursing, a switch was flippedher libido was back, And so was her need to find a man,
But motherhood had changed her, Where once she had been a freespirited adventuress, now she was first and foremost a mom, dedicated completely to her daughters wellbeing, In this touching, sexy, and laughoutloud funny memoir, Sarah chronicles her ongoing search for the One as she remains a dedicated and involved mom, Its not easy crossing over from the land of playdates, dressup, and raising her daugher on her own to the new frontier of match, com, speed dating, singles groups, jdate, and hooking up with men she meets through friends, at the grocery store, or at the pool with her daughter, Because whenever she thinks about dating Him, she realizes its not just about her anymore, Girl Warriors: HowYoung Activists Are Saving the Earth April,, Chicago Press tells the stories ofclimate activists underwho are showing up, speaking up, and rising up,  It has been such and honor to interview these girls and young women the front lines of the climate crisis all over the world as they organize movements and dismantle systems of oppression amidst a global pandemic.
